For an understaffed Saturday the crew here has a great attitude. Fast and friendly service parking can sometimes be hit or miss.

If it were possible, I would give them zero stars. My packages from several different places I've ordered are still there and have been there for about five days never moved never updated. I received stuff from California in the interim I've waited just to come from New Jersey Postal Service cateret NJ. I did mention they lost one package from a company and it had to be re-issued at their loss. read more

Worst service !! Website tracker works once every 10 attempts. Package always seems to arrive here and then re-routed to a different location. Anybody looking for service or consistency opt for UPS or FEDEX worth the extra money. My review is not about the particular location it's about USPS as a whole. read more

USPS sux they alway lose packages. They lost a 2 day air package worth $550 item inside of it, And no one know anything about it.

I was expecting an overnight package to be delivered on Saturday. Something went wrong and it went to the wrong post office. Went into the branch. Was told that the manager would call me by 3 that day with an update. Never heard from her. I spoke with an employee and the manager while I was in store. The employee was very nice and the manager acted like she could care less. Apparently my package is going to be delivered today, but I'm not feeling optimistic about it. read more

Received notification of package in Carteret Post office address to my late father "insurance check" my mother has all legal documentation from the judge and lawyer and state officials. Very RUDE lady i believe her name was Gerry working saying that the person address to has to come in we informed that my father is deceased and on behalf of his estate my mother is the approve and legal contact. She looked at us like we have 10 heads we showed the documentation we had and she just looked and says shes busy. she then went forth and return the letter "check" to the insurance company. This post office lost my package. There was a tracking number for my package and when I checked USPS tracking it said it was delivered. The package being sent to me fits in my mailbox but there was nothing to be found. I had other packages just like it and they were left in my mailbox. I went to this post office to see if I could get this situation resolved. I showed them the USPS tracking on my phone and all I got was "...well it says it was delivered so I'm sorry to say this but that's it. Every mailman is different. Just because one mailman puts your packages in your mailbox doesn't mean the next mailman will. Do you work the same as your co-workers?" This is what was told to me. Now I have to report it and call USPS Costumer Service at 1-800-285-8777. read more

This has to be one of the worst post offices in New Jersey. A package I was expecting was scanned delivered on June 13, 2016. The package was never in my mail box. I called the station, and was helped by a wonderful clerk. She is the reason I will give this post office 1 star. She actually deserves 5 stars. She took my information and told me the supervisor would call me. I never received any call back. When I called several days later, that same wonderful clerk remembered me and told me the supervisor would call back. He finally called, and told me the package was delivered. Of course I told him I never received it. Yet he would not question the carrier who delivered the package. All he needed to do was check the scanner ID and that would have identified who was assigned that scanner on that day. He stated it was nothing he could do. I contacted customer service and they told me someone would get back to me by Monday. They just called to tell me to file a police report and contact Postal Inspection Service. I couldn't understand why they did not question the person responsible. I believe they are protecting the carrier. I called the consumer affairs office in New Jersey and spoke with a nasty person named Rita who was not helpful at all. She gave me the number to the Postmaster of the station. He told me the employees make too much money to steal. Really? Does he read the papers or watch the news? In my opinion, there are theives at this post office and very poor management here. He had the nerve to say that I should have all of my packages picked up at the post office there. Really? I told him you don't even trust your own employees to deliver mail efficiently. Wow.
