For walk in passport appointments it says 8:30-9:30 on their website and also when you call and ask. I got there at 9:22 and the lady told me we can't get them done because you have to be there by 9:20. I told her no one said that and it doesn't say that anywhere. I pulled my child out of school for this. She was so rude and did not care. She said that it's too bad and to come back another time. We moved from Camp Hill to North Carolina on Sept 6. Prior to moving, we personally handed change of address forms to our regular mail carrier, yet here we are two weeks later, no mail has been forwarded. It seems that someone there in that office decided that we were comitting some kind of fraud and have continued to hold our mail or delivered some of it to the old Camp Hill address. This week, we did receive a notice from them requesting us to visit a local post office to verify that we ARE us. This was delivered to our new address in North Carolina. I had never had any problems with the Camp Hill usps prior to this, so this came as a complete surprise. read more

I've lived in Green Lane farms for 20 years. Within a few years I was forced to pay my bills online because bills either never was delivered or delivered to the wrong house. This trend continues. Twice this month my neighbors mail is delivered to my home. Over the years I have called the Camp Hill office and nothing changes. If I actually have to mail anything through the post office I deliver my mail to the Camp Hill office because time and time again...I can't trust the mail carrier to pick up or deliver the mail. Always busy, sometimes staffed adequately, sometimes not. Full service post office for all of your postal needs. Some of the clerks will not take your credit card if not signed. Even if it says "check ID." Safety first?! Even if I pull out my ID, the clerk says "it's not valid unless you sign." Really? You mean it won't work? ridiculous! Sometimes this place can be quick in and out, sometimes you're waiting forever. If there's someone getting a passport and it's busy, it's probably better to leave and come back...Lemoyne is a few minutes away and never as busy. 4/5 starts but no one cares that I reviewed a post office. read more

Most of the time that I go here, it's to buy stamps. It's normally not crowded, but they only have one person behind the counter and that can cause the line to get a little backed up. But the employees who work here are so nice and they give me what I need and sometimes help me pick out stamps. I like going to this post office just because it's more convenient than other post offices. read more

The people who work here are efficient and quick but the post office definitely gets busy and backed up occasionally, especially during the holiday season but I guess that's expected. When coming in the entrance near McDonald there's two roads, you have to make sure you take the left one. Then it will split for the parking lot (left) or drive through (right). I always forget that there's another USPS in Lemoyne on Market St, it might even be closer but since I live in Camp Hill this is the one I have to pick items from. read more

Over the period of five years that I lived in Camphill, the post office has been the worst post office I have experienced. I have dropped mail off at their outside box and had it go missing 2 different times and one time when I put it in the inside slot. I was notified that I had a package to pick up and they couldn't find it. Another time I accidentally put a package in the inside drop off slot that did not have an address on, less than an hour later I went back and they could not find it anywhere. Even though I filed the claim they never found it. After I moved, a package was accidentally sent to my old address, even with a forwarding address, they marked it returned to sender. I went to the post office to inquire about it because there wasn't any activity on the tracking number after they attempted delivery to have it rerouted and they couldn't help me at all. A day after I went in and talked to them, the tracking started up again showing that they had it for 10 days and marked it return to sender. This post office is terrible. read more

Worst experience ever!! Not only is this place super busy but the 2 ladies at the counter go about their business as if it's normal to have full on conversations with each customers I get it, customer service is top priority but what about the 15 people in line? I get it, everyone is in a hurry but I wouldn't be as upset if she kept her conversations minimal. I wish that I received all of my mail in a timely manner and that my neighbors did so as well. Delivery has been a mess for several years now. For example, every day last week I received my next door neighbor's mail and the neighbor down the street received mine. Generally we take the mail to the correct recipient if nearby, however some days I receive mail for people who live on the other side of town which I put back in my box and then it sits there for a week. On some days I am waiting for time sensitive mail and God only knows where it has been delivered. I understand that they are short staffed; I understand that the mail it isn't delivered every day, however these are not excuses for constant misdelivery. Furthermore, it is difficult if not impossible to get anyone at the post office to rectify this matter. read more

A big big post office convenient to Camp Hill, Lemoyne, and Harrisburg. However - the post office itself is a bit hard to find - especially if you're on the westbound side of the bypass. The people who work at the Camp Hill bypass aren't as nice as other locations and tend to be less helpful with your shipping needs. read more

Everyone here is nice and fairly quick, but this is the only area post office open on Saturday afternoon, so sometimes it gets crazy. They have a good selection of forever stamps, so you don't end up mailing stuff to your lawyer with puppy stamps. There isn't enough space in the main area near the counters, so even with a reasonably short line, it gets crowded. No automated stamp/packaging weighing machine. Rules and hours for passport services are not posted so people wait in line to find out they can't get a passport on Saturday and the guy there on Saturday doesn't know what you need for the passport appointment anyway. It's located on top of a mountain near the interstate so it's not easy to find and the traffic signs near the post office itself are confusing. read more

I have no idea what is going on with the Camp Hill Post Office, but it seems they have decided to deliver mail only 4 - 5 days a week lately. Unfortunately, the days they miss, such as today and one day last week are the days when our medication is due to be delivered. I called about it last week and the medicine was delivered the next day. The person I spoke with seemed to know little or nothing about the package. I didn't even bother to call today because I didn't want to go through what I went through last week trying to get information and ending up with none. I realize everyone is short-handed, but I would think, since the person I spoke with last week said all packages are always delivered on the day they arrive..... Oh my! Here it is , 7:29 p.m. and the doorbell rang. It was my husband's meds being delivered. That's a good thing. Unfortunately we didn't receive any other mail, and it was listed on my email today. There is apperehntly more than 1 mailperson for my neighborhood, because, 1 parks his vehicle and delivers to a few places then drives & delivers again, ect. He seems to be the one who picks up our outgoing mail, our bills & mail that we set out for him to get when our mail is delivered. There is also another one who drives to each and every mailbox/house and Apt house mailroom, he seems not to like to pick up outgoing mail, he may sometimes but on several of my own personal occations I see the mailperson stop, deliver the mail, I go to pick up my mail from our Apt. mailboxes and the outgoing mailbox (its own personal box for outgoing mail itsself only) still has mine and several neighbors mail in it to be picked up. My mailbox has the newly delivered days mail inside. So, I have been informed by the post opffice to hand deliver time sensitive mail to the Post Office or pick-up stations (big blue mailboxes). Shame, I recall having postmen who LOVED their job, that I actually delivered our mail above and beyond the call of duty. But it seems after the internet age the post office has become abit vindictive, and I never used to remember the stamp price going up every yr like clock work. I think w/ the ebay and internet shopping boom, the fact they say that thier budget is hurting because of the internet and people not sending letters and cards and bills ect. B.S. they are probably making more and plenty too, but like gas, we keep paying for it and buying it whether we like it or not, because what choices do we have if we don't. Greed trickles into every crack and crevice and everyone gets hurt , so the cycle returns...An emplyee starts to dislike their job due to more hrs to pay higher prices ect...and the trickle and cycle goes on, just one example I realized writing a review. Thank you to all our mailpersons and all emplyees of the public infront of and behind all the business that we do business w/ everyday. Hopefully one day each person, in their own time will care for their own fellow man, in the chance that person will be the one to help you or your family one day. I know, I am disabled due to a terrible disease, Crohn's. Though people donate for a cure to the org that raises awareness and $ for Crohn's and Colitis disease, I dont see that $ but hope its helping me, I need the help of the food bank which I GREATLY appreciate and pray daily for housing I can afford, but that a very hard one. Again, thanks to everyone who does thier jobs that make our world turn, and especially to those who take a moment to smile and either donate or help those who need it, because they pray for you, and you know those who need help when you see them. I dropped off five cards on Friday morning to be mailed from this post office to Mechanicsburg, New Cumberland and Etters. I specifically asked the clerk if they would be there next day and she said yes. These were Valentines for my grandchildren and special people in my life. Not one of these cards were received. Due to the holiday on Monday they will not get them until Tuesday. Why does it take more then one day for local locations? read more

This was the worst post office experience I've ever had. The two ladies that worked here were constantly rolling their eyes and giving short, smart, indirect feedback to customers the entire time I was waiting in line. Of course, the customer service didn't change when it was my turn to be helped. I only had a simple question about changing my address and in return the lady shoved a change of address form in my face. Confused, I looked up and said "do I need to fill this out?" Or "is this directions on how to change my address?" But instead of answering any of my questions the lady forcefully re-extended her arm with the paper in it and looked at the nearest exit. I changed tried to change my address twice with them. Once online and paid $1 and it NEVER went through. Many months later I completed a form and even handed it to the mail carrier and STILL my mail goes to the old address! NOW someone else and I both ordered coupons to be sent to this address and theirs came but not mine! What is wrong with you people!? WAKE UP! read more

HORRIBLE! They lost my $330 Firefly ticket and can't figure out where it went even though the tracker says it's out for delivery. They called me back to ask if I could download the ticket online because they don't think they'll find it??? How does mail get lost with a tracker? I've been having issues w/ receiving my mail for three weeks since moving. I've contacted the post office several times about it, and the lady (African American-Kynesha?) I've spoken with on the phone is one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to. (nothing to do w/prejudice) She talks down to people and interrupts you,and lies to you and blames other people for their issues and , makes up excuses ! I called yesterday and asked to speak with her supervisor and she says, "The supervisor isn't here right now" She said that I never filled out a change of address verification when I had! We have gone there three times to try and resolve the problem, I have talked to them several times. The guy that works there (also African American) is very nice and he said there was no communication on their end (umm, that would help!) b/w the mail carriers. The lady also told me yesterday that I would have to come in to talk to them. Umm, yeah, not gonna happen. Why can't they solve the issue over the phone? The man interrupted me as I was explaining the reason for my call and was not helpful. They need to work on phone etiquette. I favor the Camp Hill Post Office over others easily accessible in the area precisely because of the professionalism and efficiency of the staff. They are terrific! I have never had anyone be rude to me. Last week I had a mailing problem and needed to see a supervisor. It was a very busy holiday mailing day. A clerk noticed I had been waiting and asked if I had spoken to the supervisor yet. She then called him to alert him that I was waiting. I have a back problem and got one of their folding chairs to wait. He came immediately and was thoroughly helpful and courteous. He insisted on putting the chair back for me. read more

every time I have gone there I have had nothing but issues, they tell me to go to the enola branch and the enola branch tells me to go there. as for mail, I have had 3 packages in the last 3 months not show up but yet the tracking information tells me they have been delivered.
