I went across the road to the local Dollar Tree to get the laundry soap that I wanted because I wasn't sure if they sold laundry soap for those of us with sensitive skin. It was $4.50 for a wash and $3 for 30 minutes to dry. Not too bad. The facility had surfaces from me to fold my clothes and in about an hour my clothes were clean and I was on my way.

There's a sign that specifically says don't touch Elvis, and I'm just curious as to why that had to be put up there. Cost-wise detergent is about half of what I've seen elsewhere. Small machines are $3 medium machines are 450 and the large ones are six. Pretty standard rates. This was my first time here, I had about 6 loads of laundry to do. This place worked out fine for…read morewhat I needed to accomplish. The machines take quarters and there is a change machine here. We went around 8 pm on a Wednesday night and there were only about 3 people there. The 14 lb load capacity costs $3.25 (this is your regular household washing machine) while a 20 lb capacity cost $2.75 (yes, the bigger capacity washer actually cost LESS than the smaller one). There are also bigger washers available, but we didn't use those. The dryers are varied as well with the smaller 30 lb capacity costing .25 for 7 minutes. As far as cleanliness, it was kind of messy with dryer sheets all over the floor by the dryers, but other than that it was fine. They have free wifi and you can find the password by the bulletin board. Big signs tell you not to wash dog beds or pillows and they also don't permit food. Though they do have cameras, I didn't see any staff members anywhere.

We used 60 lb washers, there are 2 and we used both so one can imagine how many comforters and blankets we had. One gave us 19 minutes wash time and other gave 22 minutes for $6.75 wash time and we set both on Heavy Soil Hot Wash cycle. However the weird part was one that suggested it would take 22 minutes finished 6 minutes ahead of the one that said would take 19 minutes. And we started both the cycles together. Other than that I would highly recommend the facility. If anyone's using 60lb washers 22 minutes cycle that finished early is closer to main entrance door if that helps.

Today there was no toilet paper in the bathrooms. I've started bringing in my own quarters to do the laundry. I guess now I have to bring in my own toilet paper. My suggestion that someone check the laundry mat on Sunday nights to make sure customers coming in on Monday have what they need like those who come in during the day time.

I think this place may have been greatly updated and improved. The place was really clean and the machines were excellent. There are a few which take a credit card as well as quarters. This may be the worst laundromat that I've ever visited in my life. I actually added the business…read morejust to give it a review, it's that bad. I'll never come back here after all the crap that happened. First, everything here seems rusty, dirty, or like it is leaking. Almost every washing machine has smears on it or smudges, the dryers look dated and rusted on the outside, the floors have bits of trash and spilled soap in numerous places, and almost every dispenser and vending machine is chipped, dented, missing a lot of items, or barely works. The support posts in the room are filthy looking and missing paint and the ceiling lights are full of dead bugs. Second, the change machine, of which into I put $5, ate one of my quarters, so I had to break another $5 to get the change to run 2 machines, one of which ate a quarter. So, from my $10, I'm down to $9.50. I load my machines, select the same exact settings, press start, and notice that each of them have different times. The one that didn't eat my quarter is giving me 3 more minutes for some reason. When they were all done, my clothes did not smell good. There was a weird funk about them, like the water was unclean or something. Finally, I go to use the dryers pictured in my tip. I load the dryer, put in a quarter to see how much time I'm getting, and one machine shows no change in time while the other begins to blink. I put in another quarter and still no change. None of the buttons respond, so I give up and move to the next set of machines. I reload the new dryer, pop in a quarter, and a light begins flashing to let me know the quarter was accepted, but I'm not shown how much time I'm getting or how much I still owe. The other machines didn't even blink to show the money was accepted, but they sure as hell didn't give my money back when I pressed the coin return. I put in $1 and hit start and things began to work. The two loads of clothes came out perfectly dry and warm, which was a relief. So, out of my $10, I had $1 stolen from me due to broken machines and no ability to get my coins back from the return buttons, and my clothes, while dry, smell unpleasant. I don't recommend this place to anyone, especially since the Annville Laundromat is just 3 miles down the road and is much better.

They are not exactly on the way for me but I have no problem driving out-of-the-way now since they have no problem being open when I need them to be.
