This USPS is horrible I have had my mail scanned as "delivered" before and they never delivered anything. I kept calling to file a claim and nothing was done to help me, not only that trying to communicate with these people is useless. I never even got my 50$ insurance for priority mail. They deliver mail at 6pm sometimes and I have to be waiting here all day for my mail. Such an unprofessional location. Never satisfied. read more

This is the WORST post office in the world. One in a sewage ditch in India would be better. They are the rudest, laziest and most dishonest and incompetent "workers". Get a PO Box somewhere else, no matter what it takes. Do not get mail at your home if it is in this zip code. I honestly wish they would close it down, it would be more useful as a squatter's building. USPS, are you reading this? This post office is VERY unprofessional, unhelpful, and some clerks have no knowledge of the service. The carrier put someone's package in my box that lives on the 3rd floor, and I leave on the 8th floor. Last names totally different. I had to deliver the package to the rightful owner. The VERY next day, I had important documents arriving it was scanned "delivered in/at mailbox " which it wasn't. The carrier put my important documents in someone else's box! I called and called and finally a supervisor answered told me he would send someone out to check where the carrier put my letter. He never sent anyone out. I went to the office and the clerk showed me the image of it on the screen. She took my information AGAIN and no one has contacted me yet. They rarely answer the phone. A clerk charged me a package fee for a large envelope?! I canceled the transaction and went to another post office and was charged large envelope which it was bendable, no more than 3/4 inch thick which qualifies it as a large envelope. Hate this place! I hate that I'm FORCED to pick up any packages at this post office or ANY post office for that matter! There relievers are either not giving a hoot or robbing us! I forgot how bad this post office is. I'm 26 years old and spent most of my life living in this area. THE WORST service ever. These people BARELY do their jobs. In the past month alone (since moving back to this area), I have had 3 packages marked as delivered and LOST or STOLEN. Thankfully I was able to get my money back while investigations are conducted. I usually order using UPS/FedEx/DHL but sometimes they hand off deliveries to USPS without your consent. So sometimes I have no choice. Clearly, there are people in this office (and on my route) who are lying and saying they have attempted to deliver, despite the bell not being rung and often no pink slip even being left. I have to rely on tracking to see if my package was "attempted to be delivered." BS. When you call this office, they place you on hold and leave you on hold until you just give up and hang up. I don't know what these lazy people are doing but it is the worst service ever. I have filed numerous complaints with the USPS and the USPS Inspection Service. I encourage everyone else who uses this office to do the same. read more

This place is Horrible. First of all, I never get a knock or buzz on the door for package deliveries. I have to check online to see if my packages are arriving. They put slips notifications in my mailbox stating that no one was home (which is false b/c they don't knock!). Next, when I have to go to this post office to pick up my package, the line is a good 30-40 minute wait. They are short staffed! and unpleasant. This place is HORRIBLE. If I could rate this with no stars I would. The worst customer service ever! My package gets delivered at 822pm after we waited all day & they didn't even leave a package slip. We found out because of the friend that had the package shipped to us! My husband goes to get the package that was addressed to our 1 month old son . He begins in one window & was sent by a woman to the next window which she herself goes to. Then asks him to write down the tracking number only to tell him he's wrong & he wasn't ! He asks to see where he made the mistake on the paper & she throws it away. Then proceeds to say he can't pick up the package even though he has the address,tracking & name because we don't have an id for the baby! Had they left a slip when they delivered it so late they would have had to release the darn package. She was unprofessional, rude and not helpful one bit. Place should go under new management and train and replace employees on quality customer service. When I get her name I will update this post. read more

If you think this post office delivers packages - then you are wrong! When expecting a package I only receive a "delivery attempt was made" notice, yet nobody rang my doorbell, nor knocked on my door? And when you schedule a redelivery? It gets even worse - no re-delivery attempt is made, no notice is sent, and this post office claims that "it went out for redelivery." Call this post office to get information? Good luck with that! They never answer the phone and call you back days later, preferably after you have already gone and picked up the package from the post office. read more

i make it a point to avoid the usps at all cost, but sometimes there is no other option. the usps is its worst enemy from poorly managed branches to some of the most vicious , nasty and lazy ass workers( a few exceptions). this branch on gunhill rd in the williamsbridge section of the bronx is a real stress maker. the place seems to always open later then the posted hours and the clerks are more sluggish then the economy. the counters are not well stocked with supplies and and the metal chain link with the pens, never seem to have any pens attached. there are at least 8 counter windows but only one window open, and that window happens to have the slowest clerk on the planet. the rates for stamps, money orders, shipping domestic and international boxes, etc ,dont stop rising, but service keeps going down and down. the usps has been drowning in debt,due to mismanagement from top to bottom and its us the customers who lose. this branch needs a major overhaul , starting with the postal workers. i have seen many times in all branches including this one of clerks taking sometimes a half hour or more to open thier customer window, they fiddle with their cell phones or chat with coworkers or the best slacking off job of rearranging the pens and paper clip holders for 20 minutes. sometimes you will find a decent window clerk, but its usually not the norm. a simple hello and goodbye and an occasion semi smile real or fake would be good enough for me. with more people doing post office stuff online, its just a matter of time when automated clerks will be standard at all post offices. p.s the only good thing at this branch is that they have a ramp section for wheelchairs. read more

Former USPS carrier assistant here, 3rd generation USPS employee. This office is incompetent and dishonest. No one answers phones, packages are scanned as "attempted delivery", "no secure location available", and "notice left" at 9:00am, which is actually earlier than it would be physically possible to have made it through the route to attempt delivery. A package of food was sent to me via Guaranteed Express Delivery, and it was scanned without a GPS location prior to the delivery deadline (indicative of an in-office scan, which is against USPS policies as all packages must be scanned on-location...and scanning an express package in this way is a clear attempt to avoid penalties and refunds from a failed guarantee). The package, had delivery truly been attempted as it was claimed via the false scan, would have been handed to me directly, as I was home. Also, there's no reason it could not have been left at the doorstep in the instance that I was not home, as USPS carriers have keys to enter all buildings along each route, our building is quite secure, and it did not require a signature. After a complaint was filed with customer service and investigation was opened, the redelivery occurred 3 days later (with the spoiled food going right in the trash, of course). No supervisor has contacted me to follow up on the investigation. This situation happened again yesterday (without the guaranteed delivery time), with someone being home all day, with the scan happening without a GPS location even before 9am, and without any sort of notice or anything. I called yesterday to request redelivery for today, and they apparently can't be bothered to deliver until Friday. This is a pattern indicative of impeding mail delivery, and this pattern seems to be pervasive across multiple routes, as the multiple complaints here indicate. Impeding mail delivery is a Federal offense. On top of delivery issues, a carrier also marked a package pick-up request at my address as completed, which is laughable since I came home to the packages still at the door and had to take them to a station near work the next day. Additionally, a delivery of medications was tampered with and damaged, and a bottle was missing. All of this is negligent at best, and at worst, fraudulent and worthy of mass restructuring of staff and supervisory team at this location. Again, I state that tampering with and impeding mail delivery is a Federal crime. These patterns for this office are shocking and unacceptable. read more

I recently had a package out for delivery since Thursday morning and I waited all day and now it says that undeliverable as addressed and I was at my home all day and I went down on Friday to try and pick it up and I saw one of the employees and spoke to them about the situation and I had my mom with me and they clearly did not give me my packages because I did not have a photo id so I went home and went to get my photo id and when I went back to the post office they said its on the truck and I clearly think they wasted my time and now I went back to my home to wait for my packages and it never arrived so I went ahead and waited for Saturday all morning and said the same message undeliverable as addressed so I went back down to the post office and I saw the post office truck with my package and I did get but I felt like this post office is a very big misunderstanding with a lot of things and don't deliver things the right way as other shipping companies do and the post office in this area is terriable I hope I don't ever have to come down again to this post office and also I have been waiting for 2 days for these packages and should have been delieverd on Thursday but never did until Saturday thanks to the USPS post office due to a lot of issues and a lot of misunderstanding read more
