Here is how to file a complaint with USPS: https://www.uspsoig.gov/form/file-online-complaint The 30-40 something bald guy - Josh (passport processor) is the worst customer facing person I've interacted with since Covid started.... the older gentleman helping customers seemed very friendly and helpful and actually interacted while Josh sighed, made snarky comments under his breath, and was generally rude and unpleasant. We basically didn't say a word to him for the 45 minutes we were there after his initial rudeness. He also added charges like overnighting and return 1-2 day service that were not asked for, nor explained. We had a 5 year old who was about to pee her pants, but he was totally unemphathetic and seemed to deliberately slow down in order to torture us further! We just paid and left as quickly as we could. I will never go to this post office again and generally, many of the locals in Breck (and we live in Summit county) are so arrogant and entitled! I hope whatever sad life Josh leads, gets better at some point because he should not interact with humans until that point. read more

Come on, I've lived in Breck for 7 years. Josh is the rudest, most obnoxious postal employee I've met in my 63 years of life. Not helpful, demeaning and insulting on basic postal questions. Unbelievable! read more

The Superstar of this shining example of Government failure is a guy named Lloyd. If it weren't for him we would never have gotten our package. We finally received our package on Friday, which arrived on Tuesday via the scheduled 1 day delivery. These low scorers on the Civil Service Exam insisted our package had been returned to the vendor who shipped it to us. After 3 days of endless phone calls and the dumbest excuses from Postal employees imaginable, Lloyd calmly walked in baking and got our pacakge, he handed it to us and said, "I don't understand why they couldn't find it, it's right where it's supposed to be." Just another reason to defund this mismanaged waste of tax dollars. read more

We have lived half a year in Breck for several years (as our secondary residence) and have had PO Boxes. I have always appreciated the small post office in Breck, eventhough it takes days for packages to appear in the PO Box, I still always appreciated them and they are hard workers considering a lot of houses in Breck don't have mail delivery so everyone needs a PO BOX which keeps them busy. HOWEVER, we sold and purchased a different house in Breck less then a year ago, recently realized our PO Box is still associated with the old address. The PO Box is under my husband's name with my name as an authorized user. I went to the post office to change the associated address with our PO BOX, I was told the PO BOX is under his name and I can't change it, he has to appear in person, what?? But most IMPORTANTLY the only proof of address change they accept is the mortgage statement having our physical address in Breck. Our mortgage statement of course has our primary address in Northern VA not Breck address. I had the sanitation statement and the garbage collection address under our name which showed our physical address in Breck, but they do not accept that. the agent told me it has to be mortgage statement!!! Clearly POST OFFICE STAFF HAVE NO CONCEPT OF HAVING MULTIPLE PROPERTIES, THERE IS ALWAYS ONE PRIMARY ADDRESS and our Breck which we reside in, is our secondary (we split our time between the two ). Our mortgage address is not our Breck address. Someone smart needs to teach Post Office how to handle these types of situation. I really felt like they just were giving me a hard time otherwise why don't they accepted the sanitation statement or the waste management statement? read more

It's incredible to me that these bad reviews started in 2015 and yet today 4 years later it's still bad! I wonder what the right way to complain about people working for USPS is? My experience echos all of those in the reviews before. There is a mean man working there - balding, in his 30's, glasses. He was rude to nearly everyone - it's like he disdains people in general. Why have this job?? My package was also returned to sender after I went twice to try to retrieve it. I also did not mark it "general delivery" but they tracked it and it was there on a sat afternoon but not "sorted" yet. I came back Monday and they had already sent it back to Denver. The other gentleman was much nicer - older, glasses, mustache. Regardless - what a pain! While trying to be on vacation. It was medication that I had sent up to me- I consider it my bad for not knowing the rule. The overall experience with this one employee was the worst ever. He should be fired for being rude and making everyone's day a bit worse after being at his window. I watched it happen while I was waiting in line. Love Breck! Perhaps the Frisco USPS is a better idea. read more

I want to share an outstanding experience I had with the post office recently. I sent out a priority mail envelope only to realize that I forgot to put something in the envelope. I called in a panic and they retrieved the envelope from the truck so that I could put in my missing item. I am so deeply grateful that post office personnel took the time to help me out. I really wanted to give this experience 2 stars. I can't do that in good conscience due the extremely bad name these two men give our united states postal service workers. I went back again today....NO.NO.NO. I am not a gluten for punishment. I needed a post office box. LOL....The younger man from yesterday was not there but the man that had gufawed at me yesterday, the belittling man whose words were "There is no one higher than me" is the one I had to have words with. I went there with minimal grudge from the prior day and put up with his continual distasteful questioning words and attitude. Unfortunately the situation became heated again. The post master is a genuinely decent man and was able to control this individual, I am grateful that he was there and Leslie I appreciate your giving me the thumbs up and offering me your assistance at a later date. Word to the World...THERE is a HIGHER power guiding us all. DO NOT ever guffaw at anyone they just might have that higher power inside of them that day. Breckenridge you are not broken, you just have two dark clouds pushing away many, many good people who want to bring light and life to your town. Changes might be necessary. read more

My Husband Mailed me some very important information regarding our daughter on the 31st of August via priority mail. It was supposed to have been delivered the next day. it has been a week and i still haven't received my package. My husband goes into the post office 9/6/2016 to see if it was returned to sender but no such luck! He then speaks to a rep and they have him speak to the post master who is very RUDE and basically tells my husband to move so that he can help another customer. He didn't offer any solutions to help him find our missing Package. One of the other postal workers tried to help my husband and was told to help someone else. As i am typing this Review i have tried to call them several times and i keep getting the busy Signal... I just want to know where is my property and who do i need to speak with to get this matter addressed? This information is time sensitive and i need it back asap. Here are just a few of the ways the Breckenridge Post Office has been thwarting deliveries and ruining plans for my daughter and her housemates for the past six years: Christmas gifts ruined when properly addressed presents from multiple senders in different states returned instead of being delivered. The packages were never located and no reimbursements were ever received. Over a period of three months post office blocked delivery and returned multiple times properly addressed cell phone. Other packages never delivered or located throughout the years, disrupting plans and creating financial losses. Every day, as I have experienced myself: to conduct the slightest business requires endless waiting to face employees who refuse to attempt to locate mail and packages and then return them to senders who often don't receive them. They won't notify you when you have a package and then return it to the sender because you haven't picked it up. Or they notify you and then claim they don't have it or refuse to look for it. In short, negligent, incompetent, and sometimes rude and dishonest service. They can't manage outgoing mail much better. Unless you can afford hundreds of dollars a year for a UPS box, as a Breckenridge resident you are a hostage to this abysmal service and can never expect to receive mail in a timely or reliable manner. If you are trying to send any package to a Breckenridge resident always send it by UPS instead. read more
