The assistance ranged from completely cheery and competent and kind and efficient, to surley, hiding behind made up rules bordering on confrantational, and frankly, somewhat provincial behavior. Could have been better. the first part of the interaction is why I root for USPS, the second half is why the public sometimes do not support them. It would have been so easy to have been nice. But I was alas not from Lamont; I think that mattered too much to them. They are not a LPS (lemont postal service), but a US postal service. Not that this will influence their evaluation, it might help you, and reminder to self, if you are trying to avoid the large, too busy but on point post office in State College, try the one in Boalsburg, where I've had better luck.

This one I've been to a few times and I've never had any major hiccups but then I don't send packages through USPS. Tonight, I went for stamps. I went in, there were two customers being waited on. A guy came out, waved me over to the end of the counter and showed me the stamps they had. He was friendly. His name was Asher and, from reading the reviews, it sounds like he's the manager. I know he's waited on me before and he's always smiled and been friendly. I guess your experience depends greatly on who you get and how busy the place is but I had a good experience.

It all i had at at home. I asked if i could not send it priority cause the deliver would be charged. They said no. Had to buy different bag. I had to remove contents from the priority bag. I had a small box cutter in my pocket. But...i accidentally sliced my thumb in being hasty and careless. So I'm dripping a little blood. Embarrassing i know. I ask for a band aid. They have none. He gives me a shred of brown paper towel. The cheap thin kind. I use the tape dispenser to secure my diy bandage. I am trying to keep good spirits through this Embarrassing show. I say, " i hope you are having a better day than me. " His response is, "I'm having a great day, actually!" What a jerk. What an unfeeling apathetic callous jerkoff. I realize my bumbling accident prone self was showing itself. But i was pleasant. I kept a good sense of humor. Your staff has no grace or sympathy. They are the very stereotypes that are atteached to them.
