It has a good Sized parking area . They have a back loading dock for losing trucks . They have a mail box ir those that dontvcone ib the building that drop off to postal mail . The have two automated doors to pass through . Then you see to your right they have a drop-off postal box for international mail and PO BOX AREAS too if it wanting it ropped off at their houses. On the inside they have stations t sign your packages and mail to take to the counters. They also have stations deforestation package boxes and bags stamps and more . To the far left at the end if the store they have customer service varista wgere they give customer service as best they can there . Some people in line sometimes dont have enough patience but we inside the postal service building need to come together as a community to give them the customer experiences to bring back the trust that was lost in the pandemic and the bad politics that was caused as a result . By coming in there as a community will be im defiance of the state abd federal Government'sRacist and bad political crap we all hate . We need ti show we are the better men this is the time to prove that we are . I love coming there but please all need to come there with good intentions amf be as a community if Americans nit fools . If you have packages tell them whats in The contents to have it sent out. Its for security reasons . I know we have postal mail or packages to send to family its understandable . The worst possible experience every time we have problems with our mail delivery. We live about a…read morequarter mile from this office and receive other people's mail at least three days a week and god knows how much of our mail has never been delivered for the same reason. When you complain, everyone shrugs and apologizes and says "it's a contracted route." They literally do zero to be helpful when we've had hundreds of dollars of merchandise delivered to the wrong house, delivered damaged, or not delivered at all. Whether it's a USPS employee or a contractor, someone has to be able to do something when our mail is so consistently mishandled but they don't even pretend to try.

You obviously need to go with the items states on state department website and you're good to go. If you don't go prepared well that's on you not the poor people working there. I've heard complaints, but that's only when the people applying aren't doing what they're supposed to. Yes the post office takes your birth certificate, it's required don't be mad at them for that. They do not accept credit card as payment, but like I said it clearly states that on website, and reminder appointment email. The also take passport photos here, BUT go to Costco and save money! It's only $5 there vs $15 everywhere else! This post office was very clean and had plenty of parking, we did go at one on a Friday so maybe that's a good time to go! Once I get the passports and all my important documents back I will be a very happy camper! Never like that part, but it was you have to do! I always dread going to the post office but this one was awesome!

They lie about attempting to make package deliveries and also about you, the receiver of the package requesting it to be held at the facility. A bold and dumb lie. Some of these young low seniority employees at this place are pitiful. One day, if they don't get fired first, they will have the seniority, maturity and seriously care about the level of service they provide. They would then have the ability to choose a better work location. I'd have an attitude and scheme to avoid my work as well if I worked in a warm raisin box 5-6 days a week. You must crawl before you walk. Some folks really know the reason they're working for the USPS and the fill ins are struggling to get it. I appreciate my regular carrier to the fullest. I purchased a home in NE DC a few months ago, and found today when I went to register my vehicle at…read morethe DMV with assigned servicemember Derrick, that a previous resident of my address had a still-active RPP on my address, set to expire July 16th. This was not explained to me very well, and Derrick did not know (or just chose not to share with me) the exact cost structure of a third vehicle registration and RPP (its a significant difference - 1st vehicle: $55/year2nd vehicle: $80/year3rd vehicle: $115/year). He just printed out a piece of paper and circled the amount that I was to pay now if I wanted to go ahead with registering my car as a third vehicle at the residence. I had selected the 2-year registration w/ RPP, he recommended I do 1 year and then come back next year to renew again. I asked, but won't I be paying more than I should for the 1 year too, if it's counting as a third car? He said yes. I said, OK, if I come back on July 17th, when the other person's expires, then it will be the normal 2nd car fee? He said yes. I said OK, do I have to wait in this line again and do the ticket process again to do that, or is there something we can flag? He says, I was going to help you but I don't like your attitude and I don't have time for you. It felt like he 1) Was trying to get more money out of me unnecessarily by not telling me about the option to wait it out until 7/17 (just a couple of weeks from now) and 2) he had a a bias toward me because of my appearance. It would be one thing if this was a private business, but this is the government providing a legally required service. I filed a complaint with DMV Director via an online form but doubt anything will happen. The entire DMV process in most states needs an experiential design overhaul and have an incredible opportunity for improvement and optimization with technology that's available, but this DMV experience was particularly bad and offensive.
