If I can, I will plan to go to this post office because the customer service is so much better here than it is at other post offices around the area. The staff at this location is always really friendly and helpful, which isn't always easy to find at the post office. I appreciate this location.

Instead of a helpful suggestion she stood there and waited for the package to be handed to her, then stated, "Hope it gets there." ‍. When asking for a small 1 inch piece of tape to secure an unsealed letter she claimed she had no tape. This was after I waited about 15 minutes in line to mail it. While leaving I witnessed her wrapping another package with a roll of tape to secure it. She couldn't find it in her heart to give me a 1 inch piece of it for my letter? I haven't been back...probably will never go back. I just don't understand the attitude problems of some of these workers. Maybe they ought to get a walking route to funnel their emotions and just be grateful. It seriously makes me wonder what in the world could be so terrible that you'd want to try and make someone else feel their pain. I call this a "C challenge". I challenge myself to make someone else smile and be happy. Makes me feel more grateful than I already am.

It's a subcontracted joint that's inside a gas station so the guy behind the desk is the same guy who works the gas station register and the same guy who takes inventory. Go somewhere else if you're short on time. We were there for 20 minutes with no line but with anyone trailing in the gas station to buy a coke or pack of cigarettes, he'd need to go and work that register...which makes sense I guess since the usps is only their side business but by the end of the wait the clerk said that the scale wasn't working and so we'd have to take our boxes to another location. What a waste of time.

This resulted in more efficient shipping and even saved me a bit of money. Instead of sending multiple individual items to the same address, I was able to bundle some packages and send them faster and cheaper. While I was in store, there were customers coming to send packages, purchase money orders, and even some with passport appointments. These ladies were extremely kind. They exercised patience when customers had different issues and took their time to explain the solution. This visit made today's errand much smoother. Thanks again, ladies! What I did learn was that this post office is a substation of the post office on 11 mile and Greenfield? They cannot do certain things for that reason so just passports, stopping previous tenant from sending mail to your new address, etc. so may be better off headed to a full post office. It's still true that this post office does take lunch break sometimes isn't open.
