I simply misunderstood what the cashier said, I have a lot on my mind & a little spacey today & she repeated what she said to me slowly & in a condescending tone. It's the holidays, no need for that, if someone misunderstood you, just smile & repeat it in a friendly, patient tone & wish the customer Merry Christmas, that is good customer service. Speaking to someone in an arrogant, belittling tone will result in a bad experience for the customer which is bad for business. I sometimes ship things through Facebook marketplace or as an Amazon return and while doing that, despite declining a receipt because it was "no longer mine," was given the receipt anyways and told I should hang onto it in case any issues arrive where people are saying they didn't receive what I sent. I appreciate them looking out for their customers and really making the process as smooth as possible! I never leave feeling like I spent a lot of money as everything always seems reasonable priced.
