Went from BAD to WORSE!! Please do yourself a huge favor and go elsewhere. The tall hostile woman with curly hair will be the ending of this business. Word travels fast, and wide in a Small town. Local businesses that I work with, refuse to ship UPS because of her poor service and attitude. I'd rather drive over an hour than go back here. I've had ongoing issues here for years. There are so many other choices in town to ship in the area. Don't bother reaching out to the owner, you will only as insult to injury. He will ask when you were in the store and play by play of your visit while on the phone. Take your hard earned money elsewhere. The staff I've worked with has been knowledgeable and helpful. It's not inexpensive to ship things, but The UPS Store is super convenient. Besides shipping, they will also pack your item. The lines seem shorter than the post office. I've used them often, both for sending packages and returning items. read more

Terrible customer service. We called ahead to find out if a notary was available. Was told yes, until 2:00. We arrived around 1:00 for a simple I-9 form. Was told they could not do it, only a lawyer could ( which I know is untrue) and the clerk proceed to gripe to her coworker about how it was ridiculous they were expected to do that on a Saturday. read more

Great UPS store in downtown Brunswick. Clean, great employees who are friendly. Nice location in downtown. We had them print something for us and mail something else. Yes, it is expensive, but the rates are set by someone else and they have to make money. They don't do usps mail, but do have a puck up. They have computers and copiers and shipping supplies. Also boxes and mail boxes to rent. Great place. Knowledgeable staff who are helpful. read more

I read all the negative reviews on here and wonder what they're talking about. I have used a UPS store at Brunswick on main street for a few years as my PO Box and get all my mail there. I have never had a problem, ever. However I have been in the store many many times and have seen people with ridiculous expectations trying to mail their entire apartment home, or having them package up some junk they got at a junkyard. It is a package shipping store and they certainly can help, but they are not household movers. The folks behind the counter are often older or are college-aged young people, - not movie executive personal assistants or your personal servants, so nobody needs the out-of-state snotty attitude, especially during tourist season, and especially not during a pandemic. I have been at that's store multiple times. I had nothing but rude employees the older man and younger male both rude .

I went in for an Amazon return and the gentleman behind the counter overlooked me and helped a customer who came in behind. When I pointed out I was also waiting, which seemed appropriate, I was given an odd sermon on choosing our responses to situations and being watched from above. Seemed like an odd response when I just thought he missed me. His younger colleague was much nicer despite seemingly doing all of the work. read more

Not sure why all negative reviews; been using this UPS (BRUNSWICK ME) for a decade or more. Staff has been efficient, polite, not big on conversation but not mean, or rude. 2 or 3 staff to handle a continuous stream of customers, esp. in busy calendar times, and take care of behind the scenes, don't have time for conversations with each customer. UPS is not a coffee shop, its a delivery/ shipping business My packages 99% of the time arrive BEFORE estimated delivery (FLA INCLUDED). 1% is due to uncontrollable logistics that are handled as efficiently as HUMANLY possible. Worst experience at UPS. Unfriendly and rude!!! Shipping items home for senior at Bowdoin College. Clerk, tall dark haired woman was unwelcoming and unhelpful. If we were not pressed for time we would have gone elsewhere. We ship often from UPS locations and have NEVER encountered a store clerk with such a miserable attitude. Use Fed Ex or USPS The customer service at this UPS Store location in Brunswick leaves a lot to be desired. Example:Our daughter worked through MSMT all summer and today needed to send her stuff home because she was going to a job in NYC. She purchased a 22x22x22 box from the UPS store and mailed it. She was charged for a 23x23x23 box that increased the price over $6.00. I called the UPS corporate office in San Diego and they informed me that the UPS location was NOT ALLOWED to overcharge in this manor. The inside measurements of the box were 22x22x22 and the wall thickness was 1/8". These folks do this to all of their customers (overcharge) and it's not right. When pressed on the issue the owner stated "corporate is WRONG' this is the way we do business. Customer service isn't completly dead in America, just at the UPS Store in Brunswick ME. read more

Terrible experience. Drove in from out of town to do an Amazon return. Wanted $2.50 to print return label, which I understand. However they are unable to scan label. You need to take a screen shot to email to them. They did not receive my email which they stated was because I was not connected to their Wifi. I tried to connect numerous times, no dice. Difficult to do business with. In the meantime they allowed a customer to come to the counter right next to me. I made a remark that they were not six feet away. They are not following Covid safety protocol. Guess I have to go to South Portland to get this done. read more

No. Just no. Normally we go through Staples in Brunswick Maine to return items to Amazon. But because we were issued a bar code for the return information, Staples couldn't assist us (they don't possess a bar code machine for this service). "Go to The UPS Store in Brunswick" they said, "they can help you". Now Staples will take your box, close it up, slap the label on it and mail it for you, whether or not you purchase the box/tape from them. NOT SO WITH UPS STORE. 1st the clerk working says "According to my screen, you need to have this boxed up." It took us a minute to process what he was saying in light of the fact we'd brought the box we'd purchased at Staples with us and a blind person could have seen this box, FROM SPACE! Long story short, they wouldn't do any boxing (read couldn't, I don't think any of them knew how to do this; Hope they don't have children as diapers are beyond them) , I had to actually PURCHASE the tape (again, Staples does this FOR you.) build the box, fill it, close it. Hell, if I'd had a bar code machine, WHY would I have been using THEM?? Then what passes for a clerk said when we asked for a receipt "I can't give you one as I've closed out the register". OMG. We are doomed as a society. Honestly, I just handed you $200+ merchandise to return and all I have to show for this is a dispenser of tape? Something like $3.82 cents. "Well, you can take a picture of the shipping label". Which we did as it's better than nothing. Going forward, I will request a printable label from Amazon and go through Staples. I have to give this place one star cause I am being forced to. For sheer lack of customer service and ineptitude, I wish YELP had black stars for being "less than useless." read more

This is about UPS' pickup and delivery service in the Lewiston/Auburn area - not a particular store. If ever there were two states that should be located next to each other because of the extreme apathy and epoch stupidity, it's Maine and Wyoming. The stupidity began with a moron at Jonah Bank in Wyoming, who should have known better, advising us incorrectly that we didn't need a second signature on a sizable check for a closing we were attending in Montana. Turns out, we did. We sent the check back to Wyoming from Montana via UPS, paying for overnight service. In its travels, It jumped over Wyoming, going to Colorado; then it went out to California. Instead of stopping in Montana on its way back, it went straight to Kentucky (their clearing house, so I was told) and then went back to Wyoming. We almost lost the home we were purchasing, and we were not reimbursed for that idiocy!!!!!!!!! Now, in Maine, we were waiting for two packages; we received one, and the other is apparently lost, but no one wants to own it - no accountability. They say someone put it on the wrong truck. Whichever it is, they are inept, illiterate and incompetent, and that's being charitable. People need to take more than a cavalier attitude toward their jobs. Their customers don't need to be the recipients of that stupidity and stress as a result. read more

$250 package beaten to a pulp. After telling the employees that the item was fragile, they responded we only put those labels on items that are $5000 or more... Ok. A week later my item is damaged in transit, literally box crushed and my item was bent from how much pressure they put on the package. Maybe its the careless seasonal workers but I will never ship by UPS ever again. FedEx or USPS will be my choice from now on. Avoid. read more
