We have asked our mail person perat least twice not stuff any packages in the mailbox. We also have a sign right below the mailbox. We have called the post office in Argyle, TX and my wife had even asked via phone. I have tried to call at 3:45pm and they don't answer the phone. We are getting tired of the poor customer service our post office provides. Below are pictures and yes things were damaged in the past. In this photo there were a couple of items damaged. If the Argyle USPS would ever answer their phones I would be able to select a star rating. Perhaps they are understaffed, but it seems to me that after trying four times over two days to speak with a person there, to no avail, I know understand why they have a 1.5 star rating. I ship packages for depop here all the time. they are so nice and helpful every time. I've gone to the flower mound post office and usually the workers are not as kind, but I could not recommend going here for shipping enough. Very kind hearted workers. read more

Honest to God I wish I loved them but I don't. I've shipped several packages w them and every time it takes ages to arrive to the people i'm shipping to versus when I drive to any other post office it doesn't take an entire month+. Along with the fact this one worker reviews himself instead of letting us - the customers- do it he spam presses the smiley face, which I would put a good rating anyways but why are you so worried about me doing it myself, it gives a off putting vibe & honestly the reason i'm writing one because that vibe was gross. Not to mention, God forbid it's ice on the roads for 3 days, won't even be attempted to be delivered for weeks after even when every other courier has been delivering. They delete google reviews, such a shame because this is the only usps in argyle & the worst usps I have ever been to and i've been all over Texas. Not to mention I keep randomly having to pick up certain packages that they havent even attempted to deliver? Makes absolutely no sense, never in my life have I had so much trouble with a USPS, they make it worth driving 20 miles out of the way. read more

I wish that YELP and every other rating sites would allow for NO STARS. Because this deserves less than 1 star. And if you look at the ratings already there it is consistent with mine. This post office is RIDICULOUS! Post Master General was SO rude to my daughter today when she went in to ask for help! Thankfully she remained calm and cool along with calling him out on his behavior being unacceptable. It is unnecessary and so rude and unprofessional. Eventually he chose to change his tune and respond better. On a side note - the delivery drivers are rude as well. Words of advice would be if you hate your job, or you hate the communities that you serve, then PLEASE quit or ask to be relocated to another office. Our community deserves much better! read more

They get a star only because I have a great experience when I go to the post office for anything. The mail delivery system is what earns the negative review. I have a drive thru driveway and a safe front porch but instead, ignorance and laziness have led to the packages being left on the ground, in the road by the floor of the mailbox. There is no gate or animals to inte. Calls to the postmaster, supervisor...... no changes. The problem has gotten much worse since a change in delivery persons. The post-woman in a white Jeep running old Justin has absolutely no regard for the quality of her work. She literally stood outside of her Jeep at the end of my drive doing who knows what I front of my mailbox for at least 3 minutes. It takes 60 seconds to drive thru my turnabout. - 11/7/19- Came home today to another package sitting out on the ground soaking wet. Called the post office and conveniently the postmaster "joe" answers the phone. I explained to him my consistent problem And much to my surprise he claims it's the first he's heard of it. He also claims I had a substitute driver and that they would talk to them. I asked if I've had a substitute for years being as this is a problem that's been happening for years. I asked about a formal right up or some sort of confirmation for our phone call because I feel that the problem hasbeen going on too long and per his statement he hasn't known about it so I guess now I'm wanting some sort of proof that I'm calling in with a complaint. Chronic misdelivery of mail for over ten years. I have the misfortune to have an address that is the same house number but different street from a house 1 block away. I am continually delivering my neighbor's mail to them and vice versa. It becomes an issue when there are large packages involved--especially at Christmas--or when one of us is on vacation. When I don't receive a package that I have been notified was delivered, I routinely get in the car and drive to my neighbor's to check their porch. More often than not, there sits MY box. How hard is it to READ THE ADDRESS on the package/letter? read more

CONSTANT issues with mail not arriving to where it is sent. I have lost count at how many times I have sent an IMPORTANT letter only to have it NEVER arrive and NEVER return. Like where do they go???? So much Stress and frustration to just receive a service that others do without issue. read more

This review is solely based off the delivery we receive living in Harvest. The only reason they even get one star is because I can't give 0 stars to leave a review. I have lost count how many times my packages/mail gets delivered to the wrong address and I've only lived here since September! I'm afraid to have anything delivered through usps because I'm never sure if I'll actually receive it. I've resorted to paying extra money to have items shipped via UPS or FedEx. I'm guessing the multiple complaints I've made through lost package cases don't actually get read since this continues to be a problem. I've never experienced such poor service as I have living in Argyle. read more

Argyle Post Office is run SO poorly. Lastest mishaps... sent a priority package to Passport Office in Philadelphia, PA for expedited service on December 11, 2018. Supposed to arrive in three days. Tried to follow it online, but the package never arrived in Philadelphia. We were very concerned since it contained original "sealed" documentation. We received an email on December 26th that it was delivered back to an address in Lewisville! Post Office in Lewisville's computers determined that the label that Argyle PO affixed was incorrect and the package had been "looping" from the east coast back to Coppell (the main mail distribution hub) to Lewisville and back. Lewisville PO was able to get it straightened out and we just received the passpoet in time for a trip. Lastly, we prompted a "stop mail" request online on the USPS website for our trip. Our mail carrier never got it. What a travesty for our US government. read more

6 days to delivery a 2 day Priority package and all I get is pkg now headed to next destination. Still no pkg. I shipped a pkg to the person who shipped USPS using FEDEX GND last Tuesday and they received the pkg on Thursday for less than half the cost $32 vs $18. No wonder the USPS is going bankrupt. Get the US.gov out of the pkg delivery by business and let the market decide their fate. read more

Went to see my daughter and all the mail was out of the mailbox and just strewn in front of her door. How unprofessional is that? A knock on the door to let her know the mail was there should have been the protocol. Lord knows what would have happened to her mail if the wind was blowing! read more

Only give them a one star because it doesn't allow for zero stars which is what they deserve. I've never had an even semi decent experience going in to this post office. The most recent experience, I walk in and right after I another individual walks in. Three employees are at the registers but immediately walk away. Two employees come back and one of them looks completely past me at the person who came in after I did and offers to help. Leaving the other employee to eventually offer help with a very poor attitude saying "well I guess I can help you". Before I even am able to say anything about what I want he tells me he can't do anything because my package is marked fedex. I told him I'm simply trying to ship the package back to the address labeled on it. He hands me a paper tag to fill out then walks away And never came back. Meanwhile the customer next to me is being told by the employee why they have a name tag at their station. Apparently this employee has received "seven stars for customer service" he boasts while I'm standing there not being offered help. He even goes on to a separate customer completely bypassing me again. About halfway through helping this customer, the customer looks at me and asks if they cut in front of me. The employee finally looks at me and says "oh are you being helped?" I replied "well seeing as the last guy walked off and never came back no I'm not being helped." The employee who was literally boasting about being great at his job finally offered help to me but with no apology or explanation to why their service is so awful. I honestly hate going to this place but it's the only shipping option anywhere near where I live. It goes about like this every time I'm there. Horrible service with horrible attitudes. read more

This is probably the worst USPS in the country. Horrible service, not friendly staff and some employees think their crap don't stink and it's very obvious. They also are closed on Saturday, and many many other postal services near Argyle is open. I mean isn't this just lazy!? I wish I lived near another post office so I could get my stuff on time wow and get better service. read more

I have been to this PO location a number of times. It is small, but the staff has always been friendly, efficient and helpful.

I will join the rest of my neighbors in this one star review party. Just look at the other reviews. Without fail in my experience, if you drop an envelope in one of the 2 blue receptacles in the parking lot it will most certainly get lost in the fray and not reach its destination. The branch can't get the basics right and is in need of new management. read more

Mail continually is delivered to the wrong address. We usually personally deliver mail to our neighbor. Delivery time is irregular at best. Either new driver, current one does not care or some other problem. read more

I get someone else's mail twice a week and I receive no mail on Mondays or Tuesdays. I lived in N.Y for 21 years always got my mail and packages. I've lived in Texas for 25 years, never had a problem in Las Colinas, had a couple problems in Flower Mound(after I phoned the P.O the problem was resolved), and now Argyle is just awful. Since Las Colinas and Flower Mound did their job I am not going to say this is a "Texas issue", it is clearly an Argyle issue. I have complained for 4 years and I still get someone else's mail or no mail this is ridiculous. read more

If I could give this post office a negative star I most definitely would. Argyle never has but one person working the register. They have three so go figure. They are beyond rude and I understand why since they are so under staffed. I live in Argyle but I go to other branches because of this reason. Use any other postal service besides the Argyle location as it will be faster. read more
