However, mail person delivery service is another animal, I have NEVER had so much misdelivered mail (I lost over $200 worth of goods the first six months living here). When I complained, the person at the mail counter said, "oh, you have a mail box? Other residents who lived there had a PO BOX). Well what, they saw my address on the mail, what did the mailman do, just hand out my mail to other customers because I didn't have a PO BOX??!! It isn't hard for the mailman delivering DAILY on my street to notice, " hey, there is a mailbox with an address that matches this price of mail, maybe I should put this mail in that box". Delivering mail is NOT rocket science people, but I have lived here for over 9 months, and a month ago the mailman misdelivered an important package from my company to the wrong street! Last week I had a mailbox filled with mail for an apartment at 507 and the address on my mailbox is 509. I have been told, "the person doing this isn't your regular mailman but a fill-in that works when the reg guy goes on vacation". So FIRE him! What am I supposed to do get a copy of my " regular" mailman's vacation schedule and only have important mail delivered when he won't be on holiday?! Now, my only option, after missing important mail that was misdelivered is to have them hold it and go down and pick it up each time because they do not want to fire a fill in who cannot match an address on an envelope with an address on a mailbox (I added my street address to my box in short order after losing the aforementioned more than $200 in items I ordered via the mail). As errors happen regularly, I cannot rate the delivery service above 2 stars. I will replace the guy as fill in if you want someone who can competently deliver mail! If they read this, they know who I am at old zip code 50002. After all, I call them all the time to hold mail so I can pick it up, so I don't have to wait to get my mail after they get it back from the incorrect address where Mr. Fill-In misdelivered it (yes, this has happened ). I have fired people before, if they need help, this individual has given them MANY reasons to can this incompetent delivery man! I am going to try to push this complaint up higher, as this is completely unbelievable. Like a bad sitcom..

I thought I had plenty of time between appointments but I was almost late to my next appointment plus there was no time for lunch as who would have thought with an appointment it would take two hours to be helped. Not only was it slow it was incredibly cold in there. The temp. was probably in the 50 degrees range plus there was nowhere to sit. Shame on you USPS. This was unfair the the employee and the customers. Note: There was an employee that was taking care of the package customers that was delightfully happy. He had a can-do attitude. I had so much time to observe him and he treated each customer as they were the most important person. Kudos to him!

It's odd, how easy it is to degrade an organization or a person online, I get it freedom of speech, regardless of which human(s) are impacted. Somone's spouse or son, father, no one is off limits. I've worked those countries were we are followed and every conversation is listened to, it's not a secret. I love our freedom. I'm grateful that we haven't experienced major set backs in city wide services, sure snow piles up, but I get my mail. While serving this country, I've been to so many other country's where you have to pray for mail. Other times no mail will come to your home, you wait for someone flying in or out to be kind enough to get packages to your parents thousands of miles away off the beaten path. I'm not saying anything awful about people who express their opinions. I'm just saying I'm grateful and we have a lot to be grateful for in America in general. I apologize if I have offended anyone.

It's a good idea to ask questions about what you need before you plan to start the process. William gave me the forms I needed the day before so I filled them out at home. Some people do the process online, but I wasn't able to figure out where the forms were online. I already had my picture so I didn't need to do that. Add in some expertise at the process on the part of William, and the papers are in the mail.

This distribution center has sent packages MULTIPLE TIMES in just the last two months half way across the country (I'm only 45 minutes away) ....to the wrong city/towns.....which then has to be redirected BACK to them only to have them routed (hopefully correctly) all over again. Entire facility needs overhauled or cleared and new employees hired !
