I had to get it back so I went back to the post office first thing in the morning and they told me they didn't have the computer needed to help me so I had to go back home and do it online by myself. And so I did it. It said the letter is eligible for an intercepting but I had to provide the address of the original destination and the address of IRS PA is AUR CORR 5-E08-112 and it didn't recognize the address and didn't let me proceed with the application. I tried to call customer service and get an explanation about the address provided but after a 20 minute talk and choosing all types of options I didn't get to speak to an agent. I went back to the post office again and asked if they could help and they again said they couldn't help me and that I should call customer service. I called customer service again and this time I was told that there was no customer service available at this time (it was Saturday morning). Then I went back to the post office and they got aggravated of the fact that I kept coming back and told me that they will get me to speak to a supervisor. After this supervisor passed by me around 5 times and didn't seem to care I waited 25 minutes before I finally got to speak to him. What I was told was very disappointing. He not only didn't help but he didn't mind his business and asked me if it was the first time I'm sending things to IRS and why I'm sending it. He told me to call them and that was it. I am very disappointed of the customer service. Institutions like this one work perfectly by plan but when something goes wrong they don't know how to help and what to do. They all seemed very confused it was ridiculous.

Old "gentleman" Rudely told me to fill out the form in my car. I said, "I hope I have a pen in my car." Well, I didn't, searches the whole van, came back in and started to fill out form as quick as possible to just get my postage sent. I got berated by old dude, "I told u to fill out in your car!" Reply, "I tried! And I don't have a pen!" "Well you should have asked I have pens" "I stated that " I don't likely have one" at the onset. I was never offered a pen. Ok, now I go to pay, and it's about $7. To send a certified letter, that says $3.50. We go back and forth and he basically up charges me with a signed letter of return or something. Not something I remotely asked for. I paid it and wished him a nice day bc clearly he needs some happiness in his life bc he sure as shit ain't give out any. Worst post office experience. Sad to see it failing on all fronts in today's world. Govt really been screwing them up, but this time it was all on This dude.

The man in the photographs shared on Yelp is indeed still employed by the government. He seemed used to talking back to customers and told a nice lady to "Calm down" when she got frustrated that they weren't able to accommodate a money order purchase. This man needs to be reported, but according to him, his "supervisor isn't in today". Dude needs to get a grip. Your job is inherently stressful, I get it, but NOT at the detriment to the decency and respect someone deserves to be treated with regardless.

"The East Indian gent doesn't know the basics of his job and has to call upon his coworkers to complete most functions. (He's a representative most customers try to avoid like the plague, but easier said than done.) Today this nitwit refused to send a box of books via media mail for me, though I've sent books via media mail through this post office before. He said that only "tax books" could be sent via media mail. I asked if that meant my other packages (books) were sent in error via media mail, and he then barked at me to hit the screen to "continue ... continue ... continue." Afterwards, I called the USPS customer service number on the receipt and was informed that the nitwit was a hundred-percent wrong about the media-mail procedure. My complaint has been lodged and will be forwarded to the Rt 33 Post Office, so that the nitwit can be enlightened."
