I live in this post office delivery area. I get informed delivery emails daily providing screen shots of that days mail. for three months now, my Morgan Stanley mail never gets delivered. it disappears between getting scanned for the email notice and the driver. which means there's an employee there stealing financial information. This Post Office. Oy vey. It's so hard to review this place.... First of all, it's WAYYY out there. It's by the airport and about two miles from my house but this is where I have to go pick up packages when my mail man is too lazy to ring the doorbell and leaves me a pink note instead. And let's be honest. He always leaves the pink notes. He writes them out in advance and never rings the doorbell or knocks. It's a problem we've discussed with the neighborhood association and we've all complained but nothing gets done. The postmaster at this location just doesn't care. Our mail man is also very rude. He wears headphones with his cell phone all the time and always swears while talking to his friends. He often ignores the mail that is meant for him to take and I've had to chase him down multiple times he ignores the online pick up requests. He's cursed at and threatened both myself and my elderly father-in-law. Coming into the post office, well, they aren't much friendlier. Today there were two people in front of me with simple packages to send and it still took a while to pick up my package. Basically, this place is my least favorite place in all of Albuquerque. read more

I am having a horrible time with them so far. I can't get my mail on time because it's currently on a hold and for some reason it gets delivered to the post office (when I thus should be able to pick it up), goes out on a truck, spends the day traveling, and then gets back to the post office after hours so I can't rely on delivery times. My parents sent me a package and it is ripped, torn, smashed. The cookies within are ground to powder, despite having been in a supposedly secure box. All other mail I have received is likewise crunched. How do you damage an everyday envelope??? read more

This place is great because no one knows it's there. I went in with 12 packages, return receipt, and I was the only person there. I felt comfortable because I knew my order was going to take some time. The clerk was great! read more

FIRST off, I went in several time when I got my new box to wonder why I was not getting ANY mail...not even ads and such...hmm...seems odd right? Well, I finally looked toward the back of my mailbox to find a note: MAIL BOX NOT IN USE/DO NOT DELIVERY MAIL ARE YOU F*in kidding?! I took the note to the Supervisor (just about as worth less as the rest of them) only to have NO ON AT ALL contact me for a credit, an explanation, nothing! THEN: I paid SPECIFICALLY EXTRA $$$ to have a STREET address for my mail for shipments and such...and thy CONSISTENTLY can't seem to get their collective heads out of their asses! I had a piece send to them: 2100 George Rd SE, Unit XXXX Albuquerque, NM 87106 EXACTLY AS THEY TOLD ME TO, and over and over they lose this mail THIS time it went to the University of NM (WHY you ask? NO idea...) and the answer is "You put the wrong address..you only use the PO BOX address" (then WHY THE F*CK did I pay extra? This is a WORTHLESS Post Office and everyone should be FIRED! read more

I came here to send out some christmas gifts for the sister and her fiance. The line wasn't terrible but there sure as hell was one! There were only two cashiers open but they were quick and super friendly! Taking care of business on my lunch break so that I can get back to the grind, so yeah, I was a bit in a hurry. Low and behold, I am my own worst enemy! I left my debit card and id at work. I could see it, there on my desk, taunting me. I called the office an inquired with coworker only to have my thoughts confirmed! Dag-namit! I made my way through the line and decided to play it like I didn't know....I'll use a credit card! It was my turn, the guy helping me was very friendly and efficient! Asked me all the usual suspect questions! Do you need any insurance? Are there any flammable items in the package? (Is that one of them? Perhaps! Ha!) Do you need any stamps today? And then, he gave me my total! I grab my credit card and swipe it quickly through the machine. I accept the total amount due. Then. He asked for my ID! Whomp! I look for it in my wallet (knowing it is not there) and reluctantly tell him that I must have misplaced it. He asks for another form of ID, with a picture on it, which I do not have. He must have saw my distress, because he decided to let me slide! Eureka! He sure did make my day! I love this post office! I knew there was a reason why! Oh, and get this, my package arrived a day earlier then the anticipated day of arrival! I was just winning all over the place. read more

This post office employees the most incompetent people for drivers. My office has a box in a cluster mailbox for the whole building. More often than not our mail is delivered to the wrong box (which are clearly marked with the business's name and suite number) as well as getting other business's mail. Our mail has been stuck in a box that is clearly marked "VACANT", mail found in this vacant box included checks totaling in the amount of $500k. We spoke with management, no resolution. I've filed complaints with the Postal Service, still nothing. I have called this post office repeatedly, with no answer. Frustrated is an understatement. read more

This post office even during the holidays is the easiest and fastest post office around! I like the location because there is not much traffic, but it is out of the way. The staff is never "postal" always friendly, and extremely efficient. The parking lot is easy as well with wide parking spaces, perfect for the holiday package rush. They also always have all the stamps offered. I got my Star Wars stamps from this post office after trying all the others. Boxes, holiday boxes, cards, and extras available at this location too! Note if you prepay your packages, drop off is the counter to the north. Just drop and go. read more

Staff are friendly and helpful, but the supervisor is unnecessary hostile. I have waited patiently for 2 weeks for a key only to be repetitively told to come back in a few days. I understand problems come up and things may not happen quickly. When the staff asked the supervisor of she knew if the keys had been ordered, the supervisor stormed out and started very accusingly talking to me like I was the problem. Yes, I know it takes "7-10" days, I actually don't even have a problem with the extra waiting. But there way she spoke to me was rude, short, and combative. No reason to be like that with someone who has been patient with extraneous wait time. I don't expect it to be done while in standing there, I expect basic human respect and some kind of wording that clarifies when I will actually be able to open my mail box that I've had for over 2 weeks. read more

This is by far my favorite USPS in town. They have odd hours but typical isn't busy. This local is starting to pick up with business but is still far better than other branches. I ship things quite frequently so I spend a lot of time at post offices, FedEx, UPS etc... and this branch has great customer service with a polite staff compared to any other shipping establishment. read more

I'd give the place four stars but I get slightly agitated every time I have to come out here because I don't understand why the hell it's out here in the middle of nowhere. Why is this building here? Why is it that if I have to come all the way from Indian and Carlisle to this location in order to get mailbox keys? It's a nuisance. But once you're here, the place is actually a well-run, efficient post office---to use two adjectives rarely mentioned in the same breath as anything USPS--- and I've breezed in and out on all of my visits. Also, the employees here are coherent, polite and helpful, again in utter defiance of everything the USPS seeks in their workers. I suspect the ease of visits here has much to do with very few customers coming in as compared to other locations and that probably has a positive affect on morale as well. Overall, a pleasant place to do business. read more

Was told that I have to physically come to the Post Office in order to see what they have. What a great answer! A+ for effort!
