10 years ago, they were a good company. Now, countless times in the last few years, I've been left in the cold outside the airport waiting on a ride for well over 30 minutes. I'm currently sitting in a line of about 40 cars deep trying to leave their lot. they process one every few minutes and only have 2 of their 5 lines open accepting payments. Every time I go out and travel for more than a day, I always make sure to go to US Park for my parking needs at the airport. I've had numerous times where everything had been top notch for the service, and with their airport shuttle, I always tip to make sure to show my appreciation for their service. The last time that I used US park while returning from another city, I was kinda put off on how long I had to wait for the shuttle. I have never had to wait more than 5ish minutes for a shuttle to come by the ground parking during normal 8am-8pm hours... so when I was coming home from a warmer area, I didn't pop out my jacket, because I knew that I'd be on a shuttle bus in no time. However, this time... I was proven wrong. A group of us had watched numerous shuttles for other competing companies pass by us more than once... and a rather large group of customers had started to take over the ground transportation loading area, all waiting on the US Park shuttle. I eventually had to open up my luggage and throw on my jacket, because it was getting rather cold, and even after that we were still sitting there waiting for the US Park shuttle. 25 minutes ended up being the total wait time that most of us had to wait for the shuttle to arrive. And there were some that were left there because the shuttle had gotten filled to capacity. I had never had this issue before with US Park, but I know if this was to become a common occurrence with them, I might start looking elsewhere to leave my vehicle. read more

You may want to know before you park at US Park that they over sell their prking spots. I was blocked in when I came home from my work trip. I had to wait 20 min for someone to come and move a car so I could get out. When I complained they told me not to be upset and sometimes things like this happen. I was even still charged me the full rate. I will not us them again! I believe being able to get out of my parking spot is a reasonable expectation! read more

Normally this place would get a 5 star rating, but today it's a 1 star. Normally, I would wait only a minute or 2 for a bus to pick up at a terminal. Today it was at least 15 minutes and had to call twice. To add insult, the cashier didn't recognize my Yelp coupon and chastised me for being impatient...no apologies. This is where I have religiously parked for the 16 years I've been traveling for work. Yes, it's offsite, and, yes, it take a little longer than if you self park in the parking structure... but the US Park ladies pick you up and drop you off right at your car (no wandering around the structure at 11pm trying to find my car, beeping my alarm enough times that any loitering bad guy can meet me there - I know this likely won't happen, but it 100% won't happen at US Park). This was our first time parking in this lot. Cost and parking are pretty much the same as others. My Complaint is the shuttle to get back. We missed the first one as it was full. Another came and this area is chaos, basically you wait to get close to a shuttle when it pulls up as the heards of people have no courtesy to those that were already waiting. Finally the 3rd shuttle we fought our way to get on, we saw many other parking options with more shuttles than US and next time I won't make the same mistake. I always park here when I'm flying out of DTW because it's way more cost effective. They have a coupon online for $9 a day, at certain spots at the airport it's over $20 a day. No thanks! The parking lot is well lit, and monitored 24/7. The pick you up and drop you off directly at your car and the shuttles are always fast. This is my go to place to park when traveling out of DTW for business. I've parked here many times, and never really had any issues. One of my favorite things about this place is how they follow you in the shuttle to your parked car, and then you can just jump right on the shuttle and get to the airport. This is much more convenient than parking in the big blue deck ($14/day) or green lot at DTW. The rates are better and the shuttle gets you out of the airport and on your way versus circling back to the North Terminal to get your car from the big blue deck. The worst airport parking I've experienced. The only positive thing is that it was cheaper than the others with a coupon I had - $7.50 a day. I guess you pay for what get. Drivers are rude. Be prepared to put your own bag on the van as you will get no help. Next time I will go to Park N Go where drivers are pleasant and you don't have a wait long to be picked up. read more

After our flight was delayed more than two hours due to DTW power outage on Nov. 5, we were relieved to see the US Park shuttle ready and waiting after midnight. Driver Sharon was very diligent about getting us right in front of our car and when we discovered we had left a phone on the seat, dispatch got ahold of her immediately and we were able to pick it up minutes later. The dispatcher reminded us to use AAA which we would have forgotten about due to the stress of the moment. Every employee was courteous and it was very convenient. This is as quick and convenient as you can get for an off-site parking lot. Service is fast and consistent but keep in mind it's still a shuttle ride away, so plan accordingly. I would say you need at least 15 mins from when you pull in the lot to when the shuttle drops you off. When you pull into the lot, the person in the booth will ask you which airline and then direct you to park in a certain row. Rows are labeled with letters. The shuttle will then come to that row and pick you up from outside your vehicle. They will give you a pink slip that notes your row and space #. Save this slip during your trip! There is a luggage rack on the bus. The drivers typically do not help with luggage. On your way back, you catch the shuttle at the same terminal door where you were dropped off. Give the driver your pink slip and they will drop you directly at your car. Check online for coupons before you go! (Not sure if they accept mobile coupons tho) read more

This is the last time I'm using US Park. I have been a loyal customer for the last year, flying out nearly every other weekend, but honestly while their drop off is timely their pick up can take an hour. I have been waiting at the north terminal for about 40 minutes and I called to inquire about when the next bus would be arriving as there is a line of about 40 people and each bus holds about 10. The lady who answered said one is coming and hung up on me. That's pretty poor service as I stand here and wait for the single bus that may be in circulation and watch multiple of other park and ride services go by. This is how you lose customers. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. I've used US Park a couple times per month all year and I've finally gotten fed up. I've noticed fewer and fewer busses running and you will consistently see multiple red and yellow busses for every US bus. Today we waited 45 minutes to get picked up. When we finally did The driver was blaming traffic, Uber drivers etc.. all that didn't seem to slow down the 7 red busses we saw before the US bus showed up. Unfortunately there were about 50 of us waiting so I had to wait for another couple cycles... it's not worth it. I get up to pay and the lady is obviously frazzled as he phone keeps ringing, she yells out loud to "stop calling me" I told her that people are probably calling because they are having to wait for over 45 minutes to get picked up and she just shrugs and tells me "that's not my problem" read more

Went online to find parking for 3 days and settled for US Park. I paid the deposit of 17 dollars. I should have read the fiNe print. Booking online adds a 5.99 service fee to your bill and precluded you from any discount. If I would have just shown up the morning of I would've paid $12 a day minus my AAA discount. Because I booked online I paid $12 a day +599 and no discount. Very deceptive this was. When I went to the gate to leave and I handed the lady my paperwork and AAA card she very gruffly said you can't use that there's no discount you booked online. What a scam. I Definitely go somewhere else next time I booked thinking I was saving us and them time and at the last minute not knowing that we would be gigged. US park is great for a close parking spot and a quick ride over to the terminal! The ride back; however, leaves much to be desired. I use this lot quite a bit. There is no longer a coupon for less than 10 per day so that sucks. Price hike. Service is fast but the lot has been jam packed the past few times. While the drivers are not the happiest or friendliest people around; the thing that bothers me the most is the wait time to get picked up outside DTW. We had to wait for more than 15 minutes. I got a coupon from there website for $8.00 a day.When I went to check out there was a lot of confusion. We were on the lot for 50 hours 2 days and 2 hours. I told and showed the cashier my coupon.Between being on the phone and talking to the supervisor I guess she didn't see it. I was told it would be $45.38.I asked about the $8.00 dollars a day that was in the coupon and she told me I would have to show her the coupon. I wrote this as a tip on Yelp Mobile, but I'm not sure how that's represented in the reviews, so I'm writing it here: Before we deplaned, my mother called US Park to let her know we needed to be picked up at the North terminal. I'm guessing between deplaning, a stop in the restroom, and walking from the gate to the ground transportation area was about 15 minutes. Sure enough, no US Park van there. While we were waiting, two Airlines Parking vans came and went. Because we were waiting for a considerable amount of time, the bus was crowded and a good chunk of time was spent circling the lot and dropping off various passengers before we arrived at our car. The lot is hardly lit and in the middle of the night and rain, it was annoying to step off the bus into a giant puddle. We prepaid for the parking but neglected to print off the email they sent. I figured that if we showed them the email they sent us on my phone, which clearly listed the confirmation number, we would be fine, right? Wrong. Five minutes spent on the phone trying to figure out if we could use this prepaid voucher. The woman at the gate clearly said that we had an email from them and we paid, but because it wasn't on a piece of paper they couldn't accept it. No thanks -- never again, US Park. I'm sticking with Airlines Parking next time. read more

I never thought I would review a parking lot. And here I am. So here's the deal. You get a ticket, they tell you what row to park in (no thinking, no worrying about where to find a spot). You park in this row and within 5 minutes you have a bus that comes down the same row and picks you up right in front of your car. How fabulous is that? When I waited for a pick up to a parking lot in Indianapolis, I waited for no joke 45 minutes just to get the bus there. Within 5 minutes of arriving at 5am... there was a bus. Perfect! I gave them the pink ticket with where my car was located, and they dropped me off right at my car. Better yet? The driver waited for me to start my car to make sure that it would start. Quick and easy, faster than parking on airport unless you park within walking distance of your terminal. They pick you up and drop you off at your car....nice:) if you leave your lights on they have a battery pack you can use to jump your car(don't ask how I know) The only interesting thing is the drivers have this tip box, for what? There used to be a time when they would at least attempt to help you with your bags...not anymore. Not sure why I still toss a couple bucks in there. I'm giving US Park 4/5 for the money but its really 3/5 service. It's very convenient for parking and it's $8/day with the coupon. BTW you can just pull it up on your phone. I travel to DTW at least 30x annually and I've been parking here for almost 7 years. I did have some issues and recently took a look at quick park and some other valet thing. Overall 90% of the time US park is consistent with time from pull in to airport drop off. 9% it's a 10 min delay for something. 1% I'm waiting 20 min at delta terminal. Usual delays are for shuttle times, not enough cashiers, or overloaded shuttles which just slows down things once you are on. Again it's only about 10% not SUPER FAST. 90% awesome and almost like a private shuttle. Also a few of the drivers suck at hard stops. Note as of this review in April 13 they just upgraded their busses so that problem is fixed. read more

I honestly recommend this parking company! I have been using US Park for more that 3 years and about 20 times a year. They pick you up at your car, give you a pink slip with your parking number on it for the return so they can drop you off at the same spot. I recommend taking a photo on your smart phone of the parking ticket (time in) and pink spot number slip.... For just in case you misplace it. All the drivers are women and the place is well lit and maintained. You can find coupons online for discounted daily rates. If you need to go to car rental instead of airport, they'll drop you off as well and then you just call them for pick up. Everyone is friendly and polite. It easy and convenient. read more

I typically use Kwik Park but my work makes us use US Park. Getting to the airport was no problem, but on the way back, my group were the first ones on the bus. Once we were loaded up, the driver announced that we had to take a detour and it would be a bit longer to get to the lot. Try almost 30 minutes. It was so ridiculous. We finally reach the lot and she starts calling out spots - in REVERSE order of how we loaded!! So since we were the very first people on the bus, we were the very last to get off. It took an additional 15 minutes to get to my car. I've never had that experience with any other parking lots around DTW - it's kind of a bummer since I have to use US Park for work trips, but for personal trips I'll stick with Kwik Park. read more

She offered NO assistance with bags and just sat their and glared at us.my husband is handicapped and the driver offered no assistance do another customer helped. They seem to have implemented a reservation system that requires people to hand the cashier their phones. Also, every transaction required paperwork time between cars. US Park is the best DTW airport parking facility. There has been a few times in the past where I have seen 'deals' at other airport parking lots and I've given them a shot. Never again. I find myself in a cold, vacant, poorly lit lot waiting for a shuttle and fearing my safety, wishing I was at US Park. The ladies (I've never seen a man employee) are all very kind and friendly when they assign you a row, pick you up (at your car) and transport you to the airport. When picking you up after a long trip, the shuttle drivers often tell stories about the past week in weather and sports of Detroit. If the weather is frigid, the shuttle driver will wait until you start your car before attending to the next customer. If your car doesn't start, they will call for help and bring jumper cables. Using the $8/day coupon on the Yelp app is also an added bonus. US Park is the best place to house your car for any airport adventure! read more

This was my first time having to use an off-site parking facility so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was in town for business with a quick turn-around and a flight leaving at 5am. Since the car rental business wasn't open that early, I was instructed to drop my rental off here. As soon as I pulled up, before I could read any of the signs on the side of the booth, the woman in the both asked, "Airline?" and instructed me to park in front of a shuttle that was already down one of the isles, waiting. I pulled into a parking space, unloaded my luggage and loaded me own luggage on the shuttle. The driver of the shuttle asked me for series of paperwork that I should've been given at the front gate but wasn't. After standing there silent as she and the woman at the front gate yelled at each other over their hand held radios, the shuttle finally left but not before the shuttle driver snatched my rental keys out of my hands. We arrived at DTW after about a 5 minute drive and I was so ready to exit that shuttle. All passengers had to unload their own luggage without the driver even offering to help. I get it, its 3 in the morning but at least pretend you want to be at work especially when you're in the business of customer service. Oh well. read more
