The Room was well lit and properly staffed and the Security Guard was fully in his role as the first point of contact being assertively welcoming, inviting, and showing us how to proceed using the smart and efficient high tech systems. The waiting area was clean, comfortable, and spacious and there were large screens keeping everyone updated with their place in line and which window to go to. The lady who helped my Mom was very professional and organized! She helped us update Mom's direct deposit info as requested and reassured is the reissued checks were on the way. We recieved the direct deposit yesterday and are so grateful for the staff for making the process very easy and pleasant! I chose Sunday because it was the least traffic day. Parking: free if you're here under 31 minutes, I believe? Scan in, scan out-- lot was practically empty I got here really early but no wait-- the lady at the counter asked me for my passport, buzzed the door, then a security officer waved me to room #1. In there, it was a brief interview with a few questions and he just checked my driver licenses + passport, took a picture, and did my fingerprints. Took under 3 minutes for everything. I also didn't need to print out the sheet (if you do the Global Entry interview, it says print out this sheet and I did), but you actually don't need it unless your records don't come up with your passport info, which is unlikely. Everyone was really nice + it was super fast and efficient; clean facility too. Would highly recommend.

She answered all of my questions clearly and patiently, even the ones I felt might have been basic. Most importantly, she was able to help my parents and made the process much easier for them. It has been a couple years now since household hazardous waste collection has moved into the new…read morePublic Works center on Lion and even though the old location was much closer to my house, this new facility is much better for everyone involved - volunteers and residents alike. A lot of cities in the IE have hazardous waste collection only once a month, or even once a quarter, but we are fortunate in Rancho to have collection every Saturday from 8am to noon (minus Saturdays of a holiday weekend). They take a wide variety of hazardous waste including electronics waste including monitors and TVs, pesticides, chemicals, fluorescent bulbs, batteries, motor oil, anti-freeze, brake fluid, paint, and more. Their website says they don't take tires or medical waste/sharps (though all RC fire stations have free medical sharps collection). This new location is in a permanent building, instead of sealand containers, and has a huge covered portico to keep it shady in the summer and dry in the winter. Everything is always well organized to get in and out fast. You may need to provide proof of residency, I usually have my water or trash bill with me that shows the address, just in case. I had went a month in advance to go ask some questions. Security didn't let me in just to ask a simple question. Said you need appointment and gave me a paper to call. Also, a form to request a copy of a ss card for a minor. I called to get appointment for a copy of a minor ss card. I ask what do I need to request them. The person tells me the usual identification for a minor(passport, school ID, vaccines and birth certificate together). Not once said that there is a criteria for the ages. 0-4 you can use this and 4 and up you can only use this. Also, all documents that is medical has to be notarized and signed by a doctor. Today is my appointment. What a slap in the face I get when I show up with the documentation that the person on the phone TOLD ME!!!! Person at the window like huh. Yeah, none of this is correct and gives me a paper and tells me this and that. He asks for a iehp card. Only card from iehp is insurance card. On the paper it says they can take that so why did he ask for it, huh? Something else about it can't be issued more than four years!!!!!!! Side note. When the conversation is all done. He said he can help me all the way until 4pm. I told him I'll be back in 20mins. I don't live far. I get back he isn't at his desk but a lady. Came to this office to fix some stuff for my mom. I do have to say make an appointment. It makes…read morethings faster. I went on a Friday midday and there was hardly anyone there. Not sure if that is the norm. I do have to say, the person who assisted us and the security were very helpful and very nice. The experience was surprisingly pleasant. The office is very outdated compared to the one in Fontana. But in reality that doesn't matter it's the service that makes the difference.
