The Room was well lit and properly staffed and the Security Guard was fully in his role as the first point of contact being assertively welcoming, inviting, and showing us how to proceed using the smart and efficient high tech systems. The waiting area was clean, comfortable, and spacious and there were large screens keeping everyone updated with their place in line and which window to go to. The lady who helped my Mom was very professional and organized! She helped us update Mom's direct deposit info as requested and reassured is the reissued checks were on the way. We recieved the direct deposit yesterday and are so grateful for the staff for making the process very easy and pleasant! He really makes me think that they are doing racial profiling. Part ii, after waiting for one hour, we left the office. I called the SSA number and was told that the wait time was going to be 120 plus minutes. Since I only have today off. I searched around and found a place to upload docs. Meanwhile, I am still waiting for a call back from SSA.

She answered all of my questions clearly and patiently, even the ones I felt might have been basic. Most importantly, she was able to help my parents and made the process much easier for them. I arrived around 10:50 a.m., and there were at least 40 people in line ahead of me. I was there for a little over five hours, so I strongly recommend bringing water and a chair. Once inside, you're given a number. At that point, there were about 15 people ahead of me. The office only had three windows open for disability and one for family leave, which made the wait very long. When my number was finally called, they asked for my ID and claim number, so be sure to have those ready. The worker who helped me was professional and did as much as he could, and the service itself was good. Overall, the in-person help was helpful, but the long wait times and lack of phone support are a major issue. I hope the phone system and staffing improve soon.

I wish I had a cooler story behind why I checked-in on Yelp to my local police department and why I'm now eligible to write a review, but I don't. After an unfortunate situation with a Door Dasher when I was recently out of town, I was advised to submit a police report to document a giftcard that I was owed by the "Dasher." This was the first time I've ever stepped foot inside any police department and was excited to finally learn where my local department was even situated. Unfortunately for me it's on the complete opposite of town from where I live and hope I never have to call them for an emergency. This station is nicely maintained and has great staff willing to answer any questions you may have. I wish I had caught the dispatcher's name as she was extremely helpful in directing me what to do. Unfortunately I had to wait almost an hour and a half before an officer could meet with me for 5 minutes to just put an incident number on his business card and send me on my way. I wish I could sit in this station and people watch all day in the lobby because I saw some interesting situations come through during my wait time. But I also don't wish I ever have a reason to come here to do so! Thank you to the Upland PD for what you do to keep this city safe!
