Eventually my right ear weakened and I went to see Joe. When first there, Joe agreed my left ear was toast and no need to spend money for a left ear hearing aide. He sold me a mid priced hearing aide for the right ear. ALL mid to low end priced hearing aides only serve to make all noise louder. Yes, others at your restaurant table are louder, but so is all the other noise. After a couple of years of just loud noise, I went back to Joe. He said I was in luck as Beltone had just created a new hearing aide called AMAZE, which is controlled by your cell phone and can exclude much of the noise and focus on those speaking, the TV, etc. He even promised the AMAZE could breath life back into my old dead left ear. This I had to see....I mean hear. He was right. It worked. I could hear again....with both ears. It was and a year later still is AMAZING! Yes they are expensive....several thousand dollars, but worth every penny. Go see Joe. Just give him a chance to show you. He'll give you a free home test trial. She is kind, professional and patient. My mother in law has come to live with us and was having difficulty understanding speech and missing out on conversations. My wife brought her to Dr Jude to be evaluated. She was able to get her fitted for hearing aids and now my mother in law is better able to understand and engage in conversations. Her office is private practice and the hours are from 7am - 3pm. While she doesn't stay late I don't mind because I love early morning appt. Her staff was very friendly and I mean it. No robotic like or long faces. They weren't in a hurry and really helped with my questions about the paperwork. Dr Feaster is very thorough and hands on Doctor. She explained in detail and ask questions as if she was making sure to find the right treatment for me including some referrals. She connects with you eye to eye and hand to body and did not rush the process in a hurry to get to the next patient. I'm am beyond pleased with her and haven't had a doctor like her in like never.
