There was some stubborn bird poop on the hood when I arrived, but instead of safely power washing it as they claim to do, it's clear a scraper or abrasive tool was used--leaving visible scratches that cut through the paint. This damage happened during the wash itself--not before. To make matters worse, other spots of bird droppings weren't even cleaned, so the job wasn't even done properly. When I brought this to Jesus' attention, I was met not with concern or professionalism, but hostility and aggression. I calmly asked him not to put his hands in my face, yet he continued to do so and even swiped at me as I was getting back into my car. His response to the scratches? Repeatedly offering to "buff it out," which is not a solution when the paint is physically damaged. No apology. No explanation. No refund. Just defensiveness and an aggressive attitude. The experience was unacceptable from both a customer service and vehicle care standpoint. This place is already overpriced for what you get--but worse, you may leave with more damage than you arrived with. I will never return and strongly recommend against this car wash to anyone in the Lower West Chester area. If you value your vehicle's condition and basic human respect, take your business elsewhere.

No real reason, I would usually tack it onto errands when I was in the area so I never had a need to find a new spot up here. That being said, my car was really dirty from all the snow and salt, and I wasn't planning to go to the Bronx and wanted a wash. I've passed Splash many times and since it was the natural option for me to choose, I decided to have a go at it. Splash seems like a chain (maybe franchise?) - there are at least three of them in White Plains with more throughout NYS and CT. There was a line of cars when I arrived but it moved quickly, and while waiting I took a gander at the menu. They have several packages that are typical to car washes, but I'm kind of simple when it comes to this so I went with the Full Service (basic clean inside and out of my car). When I reached the front they tried to offer me a membership deal but I declined as I wanted to see how they were before committing. The motions were expected - walked through the area with merch before paying for the wash (where I again was offered a membership). The service was fast, but overall I wasn't happy with it - there was still some debris/dirt inside the car when they finished, parts of the exterior was still dirty, and they didn't wipe everything down thoroughly which led to water droplet spots on the mirrors and windshield. The work was sloppy. Overall, I don't think I'll be returning soon - the clean left something to be desired, and they're more expensive than my place in the Bronx; for $34 I expected better.

They also pulled off a door handle and when I noticed the handle was missing after going through the car wash, the manager asserted that my car was already missing the handle when I arrived and that I've come to this place a couple of times previously with the handle already missing which is an outright lie. After arguing with the manager for ten minutes, an employee comes to the front with the door handle that they had pulled off. The manager apologized, said that's what his employees told him and he asked what more I wanted from him. The fact that he basically said I was lying goes against the core principle of customer service. It's dishonest, unethical and unprofessional. If you break or lose something, take ownership of your mistake and don't accuse the customer of lying. I'm never returning to this location again.
