Super quick service with appt. Very detail oriented, and easy to deal with. Does not accept CC.

Merlo the Miracle Worker! My 2 kids have absolutely obliterated the cloth interior of my Honda. After Merlo worked his magic for us last year, I returned for another detailing, and the car was in pristine condition - almost like new! 10/10 - will go to Merlo and no one else! read more

In good conscious I am compelled to write this review. I had an appointment on Sunday at 1:00 PM. I show up and am told I cannot be accommodated because it's far too cold, I ask why I was not notified over the phone and I'm told they didn't have my number. I guess they forgot to write it down when I first called booking the appointment? They ask me to come back in 3 days, incredible. I'm a new customer, you have to prove to me why your service is worth my money. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place due to lack of customer service skills and promptness, there was no effort to find a way to fulfill my appointment today. read more

This guy rocks. Long story short my rental car stunk to heaven. He diagnosed the problem and gave me some spray that got rid of the funk. Thank you!! read more

Merlos is a fantastic option for detailing they took my Subaru Outback and transformed it into a shining star. Absolutely worth the money. Super nice team there, very accommodating and their work is highest caliber. They get some really expensive and high end cars but treated my car with the same zeal as the high end vehicles. Sincere thank you Merlos read more

I wanted a place to bring my car that did hand washing that wasn't outrageous for my little car. They responded to me via Yelp and I was very excited as they had available time when I was also available. Very easy to communicate with and super responsive as well! I went to my appointment promptly at 10 am and was taken right in. Everyone was super nice. My car was so shiny and clean after. I just did the external wash bc I keep my car so clean on the inside (I vacuum it every couple days.) the total cost for my car was $20 plus tip. It was so quick and so good. They even blew air to get the pesky water that remains that drips after. Plus the tire shine had me all sparkly. Will definitely be back! read more

Nice job, fair price great job, nice man. Will return with additional vehicles. Wash/wax

Been going here for a while now , I almost want to keep this place a secret. Merlos does a SPECTACULAR job detailing my vehicle. Being able to make appointments is also a huge plus. Will keep going here. read more

We dropped off our 2005 Camry that had literally never been cleaned before. It was so bad that it looked like it was starting to grow its own roots into the earth. The outside was covered with dirt and muck and the inside was awful with a smell that just lingered. After a few hours at Merlos the car is now brand new. Not only does it look new, the seats feel plush and comfy like they used to nearly 17 years ago. Thanks Merlo! read more

Absolutely amazing. Truly a wonderful business. They did an amazing job and would highly recommend. Will definitely come back!

Got my car washed from Merlos for the first time and was thoroughly impressed with the level of detail at the price point. While I am very particular with how my cars are washed (e.g., avoid automatic car washes, hand wash at home with 2 bucket method only, etc.), I feel comfortable sending my cars to Merlos as he treats every car as his own. I got the most basic hand wash package, which consists of an exterior hand wash, quick spray wax, interior vacuum, cleaning and wash of car mats, and interior window cleaning. 3 workers were working on the car and the job was complete in 30 minutes. Washes are available by appointment only and it is requested to make an appointment 3-4 days ahead of time. read more

Merlos Auto Detailing - Auto Detailing Near Me - Larchmont, New York

In business 20 years, they do a beautiful job, and with a smile! It's by appointment only, so there's no waiting in line.

I came to Merlos for an interior detail after reading other reviews here on Yelp. The work was necessary because I had a lot dog hair from our families mixed Retriever, despite most of the interior being in top shape. I dealt with Hector directly and the experience could not have gone better. He's the owner operator and he is nothing but smiles and full of warmth. He inspected the car and and gave me a "realistic" expectation about what could be done about the hair and a quote that was in line with two other car washes that I use on a regular basis in Larchmont and in Mamaroneck. I dropped off my car on Tuesday morning around 9am and they were done before 1pm. The work was fantastic. You would have never known the back of my SUV had transported a white lab/ hound mix all over town. I appreciate the "realistic" expectations and the genuine attempt to over- deliver. I was quoted on a best efforts basis, but Merlos got the job done. Great value and excellent work. I will definitely come back! read more

Merlos is a great place to schedule any level of cleaning you desire. They cal do it all, from a basic hand wash, vacuum and interior wipe down to a interior/exterior detail. I recommend calling well in advance. I've gotten lucky once or twice with a same day drop off, but don't count on it. There is a reason there is such a demand for their services. read more

I brought my 2014 Volvo to Hector. My car hasn't looked this amazing in years. Definitely recommend.

Wow. They did an amazing job and such a great price. Highly recommend!

Great job, car looked great. Did the ceramic application and it lasted a while. Job was done on time and they were very flexible with drop off and pick up. read more

The staff makes every effort to get the car clean. They are super conscientious. I've been there when its been busy and also not so busy and the service is stellar every time. read more

Hands down I have to bow down to Hector as he is everything when it comes to car detailing! So I had a new construction site drop concrete on my car multiple times! The concrete got hard solid because I kept calling places and everyone refused to take my car for some reason saying no a detail won't get it out and you need to do a sanding or a paint job! So was I getting the pink price tag, you know how that goes!! I called Merlos and Hector who is so honest and trust worthy, and as a woman to say that about a car place is quite a feat! He told me send me pictures and I did and said bring it in snd I'll try my best! His prices were the best around and he got it done same day!!! Hector truly is a gem in this industry and he's got my business for life! read more

I just had our car exterior detailed this morning. We had been looking for a place in the New Rochelle area for a while now and Merlos went above and beyond to get the job done today! The work was exceptional, the attention to detail immaculate, and they were the first to successfully remove some old paint damage from many years ago. I've already set up an appointment to have the interior detailed as well, I cannot recommend their service enough. For $125, the detail and care make it very worth it. I look forward to having the exterior done again as needed and will be making Merlos our go to for cleaning and detailing. read more

Great work! Brought car in on a Monday - was able to fit me in. Very clean both inside and out

Love this place! They were very friendly and professional. They did such a good job. Everything is shiny and clean.

Came out of my house to a long streak on my door from a side view mirror or bicycle on my shiny truck. Pulled into Merlo's on my way to work and they were able to squeeze me in and get me on my way in under 15 minutes. Super friendly and professional establishment. Will be setting up a full detail here soon. read more

Why didn't I write a review for this place sooner! I blame the fact that when I brought my car in last I was 9 months pregnant and my brain was too crowded with tasks. Anyway. I had a fantastic experience at Merlos. I made an appointment, brought in my car, and went a few doors down to eat breakfast and play on my phone, and then retrieved my car. I expected it to be clean but it was SUPER clean. I expected the detailing to cost me about double what it actually cost. To say I was thrilled is a serious understatement. Hector even took out my kiddo's car seat, cleaned THAT, and put it back properly. Whaaaat. I remember it like it was yesterday even though it was 17 months ago. I know precisely how long ago it was because that's how old my youngest is now! I am taking my car in this week for another thorough cleaning and I can't wait!! read more

Really quick and superb service. I took my 2018 Toyota Camry here for a hand car wash and it was left as it was out of the dealership. I would definitely recommend this car wash to friends. read more

Unbelievable. I needed to get my car detailed as soon as possible. I walked in and Hector fit me in the very next day. I dropped it off told him what I needed and 3 hours later my car was done. It literally looks brand new. He cleaned every inch of the car to a mirror finish. I've never used him before but I will 100% be coming back and recommending him to anyone who needs a detailing. What a treat this place is. read more

I really wish I would have taking a before picture of my car. It's a light color beige fabric material, that after 11 years looked black ( very embarrassing ). I found Merlos on Yelp and it was the best decision. Everyone was super polite and kind. Very helpful. I didn't have much time to take car in , it was the day after Fourth of July ! When I got the car back I couldn't believe the amazing work. It looked brand new. This place is absolutely amazing and great prices. read more

This place is amazing. They treat your vehicle with extreme care and prices are reasonable. So much so that you have to make an appointment in advance but they are worth it. read more

Just picked up my old car from Hector and I can't believe the difference. It looks like it just came out of the showroom. Hector is so nice and the price is right. Car is super clean, spic and span and shiny inside and out. read more

Awesome place! It's super hard to wash your car in winter because of the freezing cold. My car ended up cleaner and better looking than when I bought it. Hands down the best. read more

MAGIC! Not your in and out car wash. Plan to leave you car for a few hours but be prepared to pick up a vehicle that looks like it just rolled off the production line. This gentleman takes pride in his work and it shows. Not spec of dirt or a complaint from me even though I always find some cut corner job done by the typical car wash business looking to do volume business. read more

It was my first time trying the services of Merlos. They are good, I believe they are a husband and wife time. My car looked brand new again. Will definitely try them again. read more

Absolutely wonderful customer service and wonderful results. Hector is such a pleasure to deal with: professional, trustworthy, flexible, detail-oriented... I am delighted with my experience... the reviews I read about this place were spot on. I highly recommend Hector and Merlos Auto Detailing read more

I'm a little late on my review as it's been 2 weeks since I went to Merlos Auto Detailing, but my experience was so good they deserve it... I stopped by the shop with my 21 month old son to drop our car off for an interior cleaning. As you can imagine, having a toddler can make the inside of your car a war-zone. When we picked our car up, it was so clean I didn't even want to get in it and ruin it :) I highly recommend Merlos Auto Detailing! read more

I have had Merlo detail 2 cars in the last month, including a 2014 Subaru WRX that looks mint! Merlo does beautiful work and his price is reasonable ($165). He is very personable and ethical. Highly recommend him! read more

Merlos Auto Detailing is the place to go. They did a full detail on my car and it looked it it was just coming off the lot at the dealership. Hector showed me when I picked up the car two spots that wouldn't come out but they were trying to get it out. This was the first time I tried this place and I wil definitely go back here. I never seen my car so shiny and the inside never so clean. All the crumbs and other junk in my car and vacuumed it all away. They even took all the things in my back seat and put it neatly in my trunk. Best Detail place ever. read more

Best car wash I've ever gotten. Hands down. Hector does impeccable work and the car always comes out looking immaculate. Very friendly and flexible with using products that I prefer to detail and clean my car. Attention to detail is their specialty and they will work with every client to ensure the work is done to their satisfaction. It is appointment only but worth it. Highly recommended. read more

My friends and boyfriend constantly tease me about how messy my car is. I have water bottles, papers, wrappers, etc just thrown everywhere. I decided it was time to do something about it. I needed a major cleaning! A family friend recommended this place so I decided to give it a try. The owner could not have been nicer or more professional. The staff was courteous and meticulous in detail. My car was spotless. I could not have been happier with the end result! read more

This place is the best! I brought my car in because sauce had spilled all over the back seat and stained it. After I brought my car to Merlos Auto Detailing, not only was the stain gone, but my car looked better and cleaner than it did when I bought it new from the dealership. Both the outside and inside of my car looked brand new, and the service was fantastic. Best job I have seen done. Will definitely be bringing my car back and would recommend this place to anyone! read more
