This place is a gold mine. On a Sunday, calling it busy would be an understatement with the line stretching out into the street. Credit where it's due, they are efficient and move cars quickly. But efficiency is not the same as thoroughness. I purchased the most expensive detail package for both interior and exterior. My fiancée's car had been through mud in Ohio, so I expected it to take some effort, but there were still many missed spots inside and out when it was returned. Seats and panels were only half-clean, and even the exterior had areas left untouched. While waiting, I saw several other customers pointing out missed spots on their cars as well. From a business perspective, Splash doesn't seem to have any shortage of cars rolling through. Unfortunately, going forward, mine will not be one of them. read more

We all know how the winter treats your car. My car was a disaster. The windows were so caked with road salt even the wipers walked out on me. I figured Splash was close by and they were not busy so I went the express route. I was taken back by the rush job I got considering they were not busy. When I asked what the price of the basic was it was like a committed a crime! I proceeded to pay and was guided into the tunnel of lights and water. Once you exit you are greeted by the people with towels. Do they even wash the towels and dry them? Before they wiped my windows were clean, after they wiped not clean. These guys are bums. I got "The Works" for $43.99, which was a basic vacuum and wash and a wipe down. Then they parked my car for 15 minutes - it wasn't clear whether they were done, or had more work to do, so I asked if it was ready and was told "your car is up next". I was then told a few minutes later (with nothing else having happened) that my car was done; when I expressed confusion as to why I had waited so long they asked "is it being detailed"? Be extremely careful when going to the particular car wash. Typically, an express polish service at other reputable places includes a care wash with the service. I keep trying this car wash because it is convenient but it just gets more expensive with poor quality of cleaning. My car was filthy so i went for handwash and there was a guy on each side one working his butt off and the other barely touching the car 2 guys just doesn't get it clean. So my car is still dirty on one side, my wheels are still black with dirt. Now for the windows rhe guy had no care whatsoever he cleaned the middle of each window and that was it. This is all happening while 2 guys that look like maybe supervisors were laughing and chatting right on the side of my car. Got a new audi and decided to wash it after two weeks. It was pretty dirty, and all I wanted was an exterior wash. I have a ceramic coat on the car so it should have been easy to wash. I elected to use the hand wash option (they have 2 tunnels - one machine and one hand wash). $45 and 10 minutes later, the car still had large splotches of dirt on the panels. I don't mind water streaks since it's sort of inevitable with car washes like this, but large areas (i.e. 3 separate areas measuring approx 2 square feet) of dirt where they just forgot to wash the car wasn't acceptable. Multiple missed spots on the roof, sides bonnet and boot. The front of my car wasn't even touched and neither were the rims!!! They didn't even wipe down the tire shine to prevent over spray. Had much better results at a brushless car wash. You would think for such a high end address they would implement a quality control person to oversee the results? Will definitely be calling them to place a complaint and a refund. For a car that was just washed, it needs to washed again. Three week old car was returned to me yesterday with the soft top roof unsecured, the right side completely off the track, and the left side bar bent in half and partially snapped. No one told me this happened and was only discovered an hour later when I went to go retrieve the car and move it. It was supposed to be a basic interior clean and exterior hand wash to remove tree sap. The soft top should have never even been touched, there was no reason for it. I understand mistakes happen and would have been upset if told, but would have moved on to discuss repair. The issue is that I was not informed and now you're not taking my calls, emails, or acknowledging it. Having me discover this on my own and not acknowledging it after the fact is unacceptable. I've called several times and sent several emails with no response. Your team did a wonderful job cleaning it as they always do. That not the issue. The issue is my car was damaged and must be repaired and this part replaced. Please return my calls. I don't feel comfortable driving this as it feels like it will completely snap, cause further damage, and be a hazard to others on the road. read more

My overall experience for the service from this car wash has completely gone down over the years. Ended up choosing "the works" wash for $38 this time. I asked the crew once I got out of the car to please wash the plastic floor mats, they were so annoyed and told me that I couldn't get it done because i had not added to the ticket yet. I didn't know at all otherwise I would have gave them a heads up. Anyways, after the car was done getting wash, dry, and vacuumed, I approached the car to put my things back inside, and realized that none of the seats had been vacuumed. I asked the cashier who was very nice, to please ask them to re-vacuum the seats. Ten minutes later, she apologized for the inconvenience and let me know the car was ready once again. Well, this was not the case, I know it's not her fault at all but the crew outside give you an attitude when you try to ask them any type of question and direct you to the cashier for anything but they are so quick to wait around for tips. Poor service deserves no tips what so ever in my opinion. I know that for $38 you won't get a detail which was never my case but at least if you see that the seats need a re vacuum I would think that you would try to fix the issue here. Really disappointed. I brought my truck in, and spent $75 on an outside full wash and a good detailing/cleaning of the inside. I got in my truck to see so many spots that haven't been touched. The windshield is dirty, there is still dust on the inside. The tires weren't shined. What exactly did I pay for? Splash Car Wash of Greenwich is a very convenient and fast car wash. It's like a fast food joint for cars. You drive in, and in about 15 mins, you're done! Detailing is not perfect as like any other car wash, but the way they clean and vacuum your car is great! I know I can do better myself (way better), but like I said I have no time and place to do it. I joined the unlimited car wash membership they offer, and for around $60/mo it's worth it! Every day, I get to wash my car before or after work. That's basically $2/day wash! My car looks awesome like I just bought it. Always gets compliments from everyone. I should also add that the staff here in Greenwich is great. Friendly and professional. Soon when I have enough time to spend, I would like to try their 5 Star Detail. Maybe when I take my vacation. So if you're a person who loves to see your own car always clean (you should because it's good for your car's body) but have no time or place to do it yourself and always in a hurry, I highly recommend Splash. Today, for example, I had some tar on my car that was hard to come off through the normal car wash. They went the extra mile to take care of it without charging extra. I just had the "Diamond Plate Surface Coating" service on my 2020 BMW X5 at the Greenwich location. They did a great job. It didn't look this good when I drove it off the dealer's lot as a brand new SUV. The outside has a mirror finish and the inside is absolutely spotless. I hate bad reviews. Business are usual made up of people working hard to provide value to the customer. There is a lot of people who work for the many, many locations of splash. This isn't about them, it's about the management. They suck. Period. With all that equipment and effort and people working, not to mention a fairly high price, you would think a $30 car wash gets you a clean car. I'm not talking about a Jeep that I've been off roading all day but a fairly clean Audi. Let's just say This was the last time I was less than satisfied and called the office to let them know. 3 messages. No reply. They just don't care. This was the most horrible service i ever had for the price. I went there on Sunday the the 2nd of May on a beautiful morning for a wash because its local to were in NY. After being surprised about the price $38.00 for what they call the WORKS i ended up with not the WORKS the WORSTS- They did a terrible drying because they were rushing to get to other cars then on top of that the inside especially the MATS WERE STILL DIRTY. After being herd complaining in the outside waiting area a nice gentleman with dreadlocks said i got you no problem, he told me to move down below to these express like tents were i guess they do detailing he began drying, cleaning the inside and window over again and grease was on the side. now keep in mind i have a brand new 2021 Honda Passport, so he was just greatest guy. My daughter threw up inside the backseat the night before after a long drive coming back from Massachusetts. I came to the car wash the following day because I figured they would do a much better job than I could, especially since they had the proper equipment to clean the carpeting and seats. I paid around $100 in total, but yet they did a terrible job and didn't remove all of the throw up. I wasn't concerned about the exterior at all, and I really wanted all of the throw up to be removed. It seemed like the guys rushed through the job, yet they weren't very busy at all when I came in that Sunday. There was only one other car besides my own being worked on underneath the canopy. They left dried throw up in between the crevices of the seat, and also on the bottom area just before it meets the carpeting. The cup holders were still sticky, and you could see dust and stains in them. The front dashboard was wiped down, but only on one side. You could see that the driver's side was cleaned, while the passenger side still had dust. I won't be coming back here again, as this isn't the first time that I've had an issue with the quality. For the amount that they charge, my interior should have been looking spotless! read more

The guys here are really amazing. They work year round from humid summer days to blistery winter days. They work hard and it shows. My poor little car has been abused this winter by salt and sand. I use this car wash regularly just out of convenience of location. service is bad. every time I use the hand wash, the vehicle's wheels are ignored. rarely do they actually dry the entire vehicle after "washing" it. If you own an SUV, you can forget about the roof being dry when you pull away. often times after being "washed", and I use that term very loosely, there are obvious parts of the car body that the up to 4 people washing, did not even touch! However, don't point this out to the employees drying your vehicle because, unless you take your car through the wash again, the "fix" is them using a drying rag and wiping the dirt off and into your paint!! I should not have to pre-wash my vehicle before going to the car wash. I should not have to go home and dry my vehicle after leaving the car wash. Splash charges top dollar, but you don't get what you pay for. I shouldn't leave the car wash, after paying what I do, asking myself every time, " why do I come here?" Shame on me, I guess! HEY SPLASH, step up your service so that is commensurate to the price you charge! If your employees can't do the job, or just don't give a sh*t, fire them and get someone who actually will do the job. There are other car washes available for people to choose from. I've tried the works wash 3x and my car always came back with some dirt still visible or the wheels still stained... today was the worst experience, not just the usual stains no this time the front windshield was still dirty (inside and outside), both side mirrors had still dirt on them and the front of the car remained dirty as well. All things which do come off easy - I just wiped it now with some paper towel and water. Plus they decided not to make use of their air hoses this time, thanks a lot for all the remaining soap. The idea of this place would be great BUT the execution is terrible - they don't scrub the car all over and just rush through it... they don't use a brush on the wheels, hence those things just don't get fully cleaned. Given the price paid for a half cleaned car, Splash Car Wash is not worth it. read more
