Here's the update. This place continues to suck. The staff are totally unfriendly, indifferent and miserable. The real problem, however: the damned car isn't clean. I paid for their highest service interior/exterior wash (not detail, wash) and I get in the car and the center console is dusty and dirty. There is ZERO quality control in this place. ZERO. They don't give a damn if the car is actually clean or not. How in the heck do you wash a car, purport to clean the interior and have it be filthy? It's hardly the first time I've seen these lapses. Even though I've lived in Westchester for a while, I still utilize the car wash that was local to me when I lived in the Bronx. No real reason, I would usually tack it onto errands when I was in the area so I never had a need to find a new spot up here. That being said, my car was really dirty from all the snow and salt, and I wasn't planning to go to the Bronx and wanted a wash. I've passed Splash many times and since it was the natural option for me to choose, I decided to have a go at it. Splash seems like a chain (maybe franchise?) - there are at least three of them in White Plains with more throughout NYS and CT. There was a line of cars when I arrived but it moved quickly, and while waiting I took a gander at the menu. They have several packages that are typical to car washes, but I'm kind of simple when it comes to this so I went with the Full Service (basic clean inside and out of my car). When I reached the front they tried to offer me a membership deal but I declined as I wanted to see how they were before committing. The motions were expected - walked through the area with merch before paying for the wash (where I again was offered a membership). The service was fast, but overall I wasn't happy with it - there was still some debris/dirt inside the car when they finished, parts of the exterior was still dirty, and they didn't wipe everything down thoroughly which led to water droplet spots on the mirrors and windshield. The work was sloppy. Overall, I don't think I'll be returning soon - the clean left something to be desired, and they're more expensive than my place in the Bronx; for $34 I expected better. read more

They do a very quick wash interior and exterior that only took less than 10 minutes. Sloppy work. I feel that I don't have a choice.

If I could give this place no stars I would, as it is a sloppy car wash and 3 times in a row I pay for undercarriage wash along with sealer wax and as I'm going thru the car wash none of those soaps are applied. When I complained about it, they did nothing about it. Not worth spending the $25 for a basic car wash because they always forget the additional services you paid for, or they pretend to. As someone who came from out of town with a luxury SUV to get cleaned after recent snowstorm, very disappointed with the chaotic way, they handled cars coming in. Long line was expected but long wait to get rinsed after washing was not expected. They need to have English-speaking people handling the orders, because they didn't do what I asked at first. To top it all off as I was leaving, I heard yelling for me to stop, when I stopped the car of the workers ran up, begin wiping my side view mirror again, and then decided to spit on the mirror and use the spit to clean the mirror! They need to improve everything about this place. Employees and manager were extremely rude. The car did not come clean and after waiting 45 minutes they wanted me to wash the car again. After paying $60 to have my car cleaned you would think that it would have been shinning. I paid to have the tires and it does not even look like they were Armourald. Disgusting. I just left here after paying $80. When I got home 5 minutes later and was able to check it out, I saw that they did not do a good job and left a ton of hair and stains. I called and asked if I could bring the car the next morning to have them fix it, and they were extremely nasty and said I had to bring it back right now. They charge $35 just to vacuum and wipe down the inside of your car, and then they ADD $21 just to wash the outside of your car. That's insane. Person who takes your order doesn't explain this well and when you get to the cashier, surprise!! Plenty of other nearby car washes nearby that charge half the price for the same service (and frankly their service is better). I thought I'd give this place a try, big mistake. read more

Paid the 40 $ one came out to 43 on credit card. This car was filthy all I did was put all my belongings in the trunk and they washed and cleaned every spot of my car. The other Splash Car Wash are better than this one. They never, and I mean NEVER towel dry the roof of your car, and sometimes skip shining the tires. I even told them many times, but to no avail. I just gave up. I'm an Unlimited Car Wash member, which is great. But c'mon now... I come here because it's the closest one to my work, but I prefer the one in Greenwich or Cos Cob. I've gone here several times, as this location is close to both my office and home. I will give it to the business that they are convenient and fast. Everyone who works there is pleasant. But they are over-priced for the car wash they deliver. Today, I paid $32.50 to get my small sedan washed. I asked for an exterior wash and the rubber mats cleaned, and they charged me an additional $4 for vacuuming which I did not request. When I left, I realized that there was lint dust all over the windows - what kind of towels are they using. There were mud splashes still left on the inside door panel. And the back bumper was still dirty. Plus, they up-charged me for vacuuming yet there were still crumbs in the center console and the cupholders. Dont go here if you want a quality interior cleaning. Outside of car can pass for clean. Extremely fast wash so no wonder its shoddy. I've attached pictures to show the lack of detail for a 33$ wash. It speaks for itself. Inside plays 2000s rock, offers different car products to purchase while you wait, cashier was friendly enough and there's a warm bench to sit on. If you're looking to have your car get dirtier than it originally was before then come here to splash! I wish I could give this place a zero but I'll settle for a 1 because Yelp won't let me go lower. I brought my car here last week and they only vacuumed the passenger side, not the drivers side. There is now white marks on my glove compartment that wasn't there prior. And last but not least they completely soaked my back seats, creating this (see picture). Really disappointed with the quality of this car wash. I have been two times prior where I had to have them run my car through the wash a second time- BOTH times. I figured I'd give them a third chance with the hope that maybe their service had changed over 6 months. Unfortunately the quality has actually gone down. I paid $30 for a full service wash including interior vacuum and car mat wash. When my car was ready I saw that they hadn't even vacuumed the back seat area, nor did they wipe out the door jambs, apply tire shine, clean the rims, wipe my dash, and so much more. The only reason I'm giving them two stars is because one of the employees spent another 10 minutes working on my car by himself. I spoke with a man who said he was a manager and explained I've consistently been let down with their service. He didn't seem to care much at all, even when I said I'd be taking my money elsewhere in the future. All-in-all yes, they are busy, but the full driveway is not a reflection of the quality of service. You're better off having your 10 year old neighbor clean your car. read more

This was one of the worst car washes i have ever received. I went a while ago and it was sub par so I hadnt been back in quite some time but it is close to my home and I needed a wash before getting on the road. For $35. They didn't pick up one pair of shoes on my back seat floor to vacuum and clean my carpets. They charged me to wash my matts but for the same reason didnt wash the back matts. They did not wipe down the center console or clean my cup holder. For $35 to wash a car you should get superior service. And the svc here is abysmal. I recommend going somewhere else like Bubbles in Elmsford. Prices are cheaper and the service is a lot better. This place will never scam me again!!! read more

Don't listen to those who tell you this place is good or amazing. This place is far from it. I have made the mistake of coming here twice and each time something new needs to be redone. They spray the car and hope that its enough to take dirt or grime off and don't use brushes before car hits machines. When done you might as well dry your own car cause they do a bad job especially on passenger side since driver won't see. They even charge to wet ur mats when other places don't.
