This practice represents everything that's wrong with corporate medicine. All of their systems are incompetent. In the last 3 days I have made 26 calls into their system without getting through. How did I get here? I had an appointment with the doctor 10 days ago followinga blood draw. I responded to SIX separate messages asking me to confirm, to pre-register, to confirm again, etc. Because of work on the Brown line tracks I needed to walk from Belmont. I walk with 2 canes so I called to say I had an appointment with Dr. Yonover and would be a few minutes late. They said no problem. I arrived, said who i was and had a seat. They called me to say that a mistake was made, Dr. Yonover doesn't work on Tuesdays. No apology. I left because I was angry and in pain from rushing. I called to make an appointment but was told I couldn't because I owed them money and needed to talk to billing. 13 phone calls into the phone system failed to get through. "Please press 1 if you're a patient with a billing problem". I pushed it and it went back to the menu over and over and over. Called again just after 4 pm on both Monday and Tuesday and got a message that the office was closed. Left a message with the answering service asking for a return call. Did not get one. My second call today got through to billing where they acknowledged that I didn't owe any money. They then offered me an appointment a month away when I'd be out of town. I said I needed an earlier appointment. They had to get permission from a supervisor to call the office for an earlier date. They got permission and said I'd get a callback from the office. 2 hours later I gave up and drove to the office. As I parked I got a callback and made an appointment. 2 1/2 days of incompetence to make an appointment to fix their error. No apology. If I didn't adore Dr. Yonover I'd be looking for a new doctor.

Was sent to UroPartners at the LaGrange location by my regular doctor because of a high PSA result…read more The doctor at UroPartners said my test result had gone up so he requested I do an MRI to check the prostrate. The MRI showed a suspicious area, so the Dr then requested a biopsy of the area. He informed me over the phone that I would be contacted in a few days to set up the biopsy appointment. Days passed and no contact. My calls to the office only went to an automated system. So, I've been told I need a biopsy which is bad enough and then no way to set it up. Furthermore, they never give you any paperwork of the visit or results. Find a Urologist who cares about their patients.
