Where should I start? I will start from reading other peoples reviews. Each review was telling my…read morestory from the moment I drove my car into the parking lot and the staff came out to assist me with removing my dog from my vehicle. They took one look at him and knew he was bad off. They immediately took my baby and rushed him to the back and begin working on him. They allowed me to stand there and observe everything they did to my King. I am a medical person and I am familiar with the processes of triage patients with emergencies. The physician performed a sonogram and began to tell me my options of care. I had to make the most difficult decision in my life. I decided not to be selfish and to have my King put to rest. This facility not only comfort me, but my family as well. They gave us a room and told us to take our time, they offered refreshments and continually checked on us. They just went out of their way with compassion and concern. I have never experienced this type of Customer Service in my entire life. It made me and my family feel heard and understood about our wishes. Once my family completed our goodbyes and they put our King to rest, they comfort my family, some even shared tears with us. They gave us things to remember our baby boy King that I will cherish forever. This hospital will always hold a special place in my heart. This is a place that I would love to work at and be proud to say that I worked there because each and every person who works in that building are Gods angels, and truly care about the animals that they treat. I will always be grateful. I know this was God's plan because it all went perfectly. Yes, I left without a dog, but I now have a new family that I would cherish with my other pets. Thank you again to each and every one of the staff who comfort my family, who gave my comforting hugs and who helped my King. I pray that this establishment continue to employee such phenomenal people who I believe are Angels. I would recommend this pet hospital anyone will listen. I am forever grateful.

I spoke with Martha over the phone, and she was able to set up an appointment with an internal medicine vet for less than a week later. The waiting area is large, and there's a small space for isolating cats (in carriers, of course). This was appreciated. Once in a room, a vet tech asked thorough questions and took notes. Then our cat was whisked away for an exam by Dr. Hoh, a veterinary internal medicine specialist. Our cat was returned to the room and Dr. Hoh came in to speak with us. Her many years of experience, combined with our observations, changed the course of treatment for our cat. For the time being, we will be taking a more conservative approach and reporting back to the internist in a few weeks. As it turned out, the person I initially spoke with over the phone checked us out when we left. Martha was just as friendly and helpful in person as she was over the phone. Places like this are not cheap to visit, but given we were not in an emergency situation and the fact that a specialist was involved it was not at all unreasonable. More importantly, we were greatly relieved and are cautiously optimistic about our cat's prognosis.

The staff were pleasant, but before even examining him, they presented a treatment plan with charges for radiology, CT, and even an MRI. That raised concerns for me, especially since the injury didn't appear orthopedic. I chose to pay the exam fee and follow up with his primary vet the next morning. He was diagnosed with cellulitis and improved quickly with antibiotics. I'd use caution with after-hours clinics--reading reviews ahead of time can really make a difference.

We had taken him to another Emergency Animal Hospital in Round Rock, but they recommended to use our veterinarian for lower costs. While they were correct on the costs, unfortunately his veterinarian was not able to get him into surgery. It would have saved us probably like $6,000. I will say this emergency animal hospital did an excellent job in caring for our rottie, they kept us informed and provided us all the details we needed to know up front to includes. They also use Cherry for payment plans if you cannot afford the upfront costs. I know my wife worried we were going to have to euthanized him. The thought did cross our mind. But our rottie is very young and since he swallowed a small rubber ball that one of our neighbors through over the fence accidentally and it was in a location that it was retrievable for from his small intestine and stomach area. Post operation he did well in recovery and was ready to come home. This emergency hospital made us and our rottweiler feel like family. They were all very understanding and caring. I would recommend them again. I highly recommend for all pet owners to invest in pet insurance. You never know when you are going to need it for emergencies like we experienced.

You did bloodwork you should've known by the coughing and throwing up like the other vet veterinarian that only costI $200. Your canned response won't negate that you failed my pet and many of our pets.
