This location is great! I come here all the time when I am not feeling well. The staff is always nice and courteous. I've visited this location at least 5x and I've probably waited more than 15 mins to see a doctor 1 time out of the 5 visits. read more

This was the worst experience I had at a medical facility. The one star is for the nice receptionist who was taking calls, attending to the patients, and cleaning up vomit in the waiting room. The 2nd star is for the inundated PA who was obviously overwhelmed by doing it all. The PA was sick and had a mask on. I entered at 6:30 and left at 10:10. Once I was put in a room I had to wait another 45 minutes to be seen by the PA. Patients who came after me were seen by the PA (Physician Assistant) before me. When asked where is the doctor, I was told there is no doctor, he wasn't there. There was no on-call physician either. If you want proper care do not go here. They were out of water in the waiting room. The facility is clean but you don't get real service because whoever is managing this doesn't really care about the sick people they service, they only care about the money. My husband and I attended the Cederhurst Urgent care . The receptionist was friendly and professional. The office was immaculate. The physician was thorough and extremely efficient. We were treated and released in about an hour . I highly recommend the Cederhurst Urgent care center. read more

This is the worst URGENT CARE I ever been to the lobby & the front is really nice but this place does not have a DOCTOR there they only have a P.A. Physician assistant who's not a DOCTOR for thos who don't know what is a P.A. Anyway I went it because I was sick with a ear ache & my throat was hurting me so I signed in & the wait was fast there was only 1 person inside so when I get into the Exam room a lady walks in & I say hi DOC & she said I am not a doctor I am a P.A. & I said no one told me a P.A. Was going to see me & I ask for a doctor & she said there's no doctors there only P.A. So I said ok I give it a try anyways she look at my ear & said I had a affection & she gives me antibiotics & a spray for my nose so I went to CVS & when I get there I pick up my medication & then I realize she did not even take my temperature to see if I have a fever so I bought something to check my temperature & when I check it I had a fever I was so upset she did not take my temperature anyways I took the medicine as it says on the bottle & on day 3 I was still sick & getting worse so I went to my doctor as a emergency walk in & when my doctor exams me I showed him what the P.A. Gave me & he was so upset I never had a affection I had the FLU & he discontinued my mess she gave me & gave me the right meds I need now I am much better read more

Very pleased with my experience at this place. The staff is friendly and all know what they are doing. The place is kept clean and is run efficiently. The PA Marlena Elazar saw my promptly and was genuinely concerned about my well being. Ms. Elazar was pleasant, knowledgeable, and thorough. I don't remember the name of the doctor that I saw. But I have to say the service was quick, thorough, and excellent. My primary care physician isn't close to my home so I came in they are expecting to wait forever, I was in and out of there in about an hour. The facility is very clean and updated. The staff there were courteous friendly and very professional. I highly recommend this place for any of your urgent care needs. My first experience with urgent care was above and beyond what I expected. I will definitely be back. read more

Let me start off by saying that if I had the review to write about on Saturday it would have received more stars. I went in on Saturday evening to be seen and service was prompt. The issue is now getting the results from lab work and actually being able to speak with someone in the office. Yesterday I was told to call back by 7 pm as the results were not in yet. Called back at 7 and of course, no results. Called again this morning only to be put on hold for 10 minutes and now the phone system is not working. This is unprofessional and frustrating at the least. I need to be cleared to return back to work and cannot without the docs authorization. Not the best place for follow-ups or responding in a timely fashion. Get it together! read more

I went here in May 2014 suffering from terrible allergy symptoms. Although I have no complaints about the care I received, the front desk required an upfront payment of $150 although my co-pay is only $50. I was told some song & dance about getting reimbursement from my insurer. Because my symptoms were so bad, I paid the $150. Apparently, Urgent MD didn't want to submit the claim to my insurer. I filed a complaint with my insurer's health advocate and was informed today that I should be receiving a $100 refund in about 10 days...approx. 5 months after my visit! read more

I don't understand how these places can be under bad mangament I walked into the urgent md in cedarhurst and the employees were arguing so I asked to see a doctor because i was feeling really under the weather and was really nauseous I had to wait 45 minutes I then spoke to a female named Candice and she completely gave me and attitude I then went to ask can I please speak to your manager and her response was in professional I was highly upset about the situation I mean like if I would've know it was like this in this place I would've just checked myself into a nearby hospital I just don't understand how the employees can argue with each other and not even sign me in but check there phones while I'm directly in front of them I would never come to this urgent MD again I had the complete worst exprience ii wanted to write a letter to the head of the company but I understand sometimes things happen but this is very often either I come in or my wife comes in with my son the doctors were very aggressive and talked while asking questions really not even showing a care the last time I was there the female I met names Candice I believe was going back in forth with a lady that couldn't breathe and needed to see a doctor soon so I can understand the waiting on that part if they wanted to take her first but there were like 3-4 of us just waiting for 30 minutes or better that got my highly upset seeing that lady like that and being spoken to in a rudely manner from the manager Alex and Candice I didn't appreciate this at all and I will continue to tell everybody I speak to and my family to not come to this urgent care because they simply do not care it's pitiful ... I seem there was another location a few minutes away I'm Hewlett and as soon as I walked in there It was like a complete different atmosphere very clean very professional there were feelings ment in everybody's words they were gentle with my son and just seemed very generous but I will never go into cedarhurst again and I advise anybody reading this not to this made me highly upset read more

Went here at 9 at night because my daughter was in serious constipation pain. As a parent of a toddler, I know my children and I know when they are constipated (especially when my daughter tells me her belly hurts and is in tears because of it). I went to this location and for starters the wait was a solid 30 minutes... But it is closer than an ER and a hospital visit wasnt necessary. We finally got put in a room to be seen and waited another 30 minutes in there (there was maybe 2 other patients in the building). Finally this female doctor walks in and orders a strep culture! I told her that all it is is her stomach, can you check to make sure thats what it is (our pediatrician feels our kids stomach and immediately is able to know if she is backed up). She said its not medically possible so she is just going to look for an infection. OF COURSE the strep test came back negative......So we left with my daughter still in tears (I gave her miralax later and she was better), a good sized medical bill and copay, and an unnecessary strep test. read more
