I read the reviews after placing my order of DOUBLE THE PEARL (white peonies) at $153.00 and LARGE GLASS VASE at $12.00, which made me very nervous. After holding my breath for about a week, cuz that is how long it took to deliver the white peonies after I submitted my order online. I ordered it on 12/13, it's estimated arrival date was 12/20. It was on time and beautiful. The only downside that I can see is there should have been 20 peonies. I think I only count 16, possibly 17 buds. They are blooming well, very quickly, and beautifully. I have now gone back and forth with "customer service" after THEY said they would be refunding my delivery fee. NOPE. They haven't and probably won't. I get that Mother's Day is a big flower occasion and things are busy, but we said early delivery was ok, flexible about the date, etc, and the bouquet was still wilted and falling apart. When I opened the box there were petals everywhere! Several brown or even black flowers, and several of the flowers had snapped off the stems. Probably half of the flowers were ruined. The included vase was wrapped in bubble wrap but when I undid the wrapping it appeared to have been...used and not washed? There was residue and leaves in the vase, and it was damp. Prices were above average and you need to purchase a vase at an additional cost. I spent $150 dollars which even with free delivery was expensive. My mother's flowers arrived today, and they are pretty, but I was surprised at the small size of the arrangement and the lack of flowers. Urban Stems was absolutely awful. I ordered flowers for my sister who was having a life saving surgery. They were meant to arrive on Jan 16, and arrived more than 48 hours and 2 days late. My sister even said it appears they must have sat on a truck for several overnights in below freezing temperatures. The company said they could only refund cost of shipping per their policy, and that the flowers would remain fresh for 2 days - clearly not. I'm really disappointed. I ordered flowers for my mom's birthday - they shipped on time but we're delayed and we're delivered 3 days later. They were dead and moldy. I did receive a refund for them which I foolishly decided to try again with. So I ordered another bouquet. Which did come on time but were poorly packaged and the stems weren't wrapped in a sponge or foam. The flowers were wilted and some were molded from being damp and wrapped so tightly that they were smashed. My mom definitely didn't receive a specially curated arrangement of fresh flowers. I bought The Rae bouquet for my friend's birthday but the flowers delivered to her were not the same as shown on the website. The colors were very different (the orange color was actually deep red), a stem was slightly broken, and the bouquet looked smaller than in the photo... I think the photo was not accurate about what the actual product looked like.. This could be a hit or miss.. Delivery was on time and the delivery guy called me to let me know the flowers were delivered. I appreciate this. The flowers were limp at best, two of them bent at the top. The snapdragons looked like they were barely alive. The bouquet didn't even last three days.
