My daughter has gotten me numerous arrangements from this shop. They are wonderful, but last week my daughter decided for my birthday to get me tulips and daffodils. The daffodils were in horrible shape, and the tulips never opened. My last arrangement was so wonderful that I dried it and still have it hanging. Why this arrangement was so dismal I have no idea. I have tried to call the florist, but always miss their times. I want to continue to use their services, and I know their work is beautiful, but this bouquet was not good at all. I actually was saddened how fast it deteriorated in front of our eyes. I am sad for my daughter who paid such a prime price, and for myself that I could not enjoy the arrangement for more than one day! read more

I haven't felt inclined to write a review on Yelp in a long time, but the QUALITY here is unreal. I stopped in Friday afternoon to grab a single rose for a guest I was having over for dinner. The young lady behind the desk asked me which color (red) and then proceeded to package it up really nicely. Traditionally, I've always gone to the grocery store and grabbed a dozen roses that usually die in a few days for $15. In this case, I spent $10 for a single rose and have gotten a message or photo about it every day since Friday (5 days now) because of how beautiful and fresh it was. The rose is just blossoming now and getting bigger by the day. Really great quality, I'll only come here for flowers going forward. read more

I also had a LivingSocial deal and as usual, left it till the last minute to redeem. This was no problem and she even let me pick it up the next day, after the deal had ended. Each one is a work of art. I searched the web for the perfect florist for my son's rehearsal cocktail party and decided to try this florist due to the high reviews. Even though I only gave them a few days notice and my budget was small, they created and delivered gorgeous arrangements that had everyone asking who did them. They must have special connections because even though ranunculus and peonies were out of season, they were in my arrangements. I purchased a groupon type deal for Le Printemps. My wife works in the building and I verified that I would get free delivery since it just a short trip up. There was a little bit of a communication issue but beyond that I ended up being offered a small arrangement for my 25 for 50 worth of flowers deal. I wanted a little more so I offered to pay more and ended up paying 10 extra for a balloon and bigger arrangement for my wife's birthday. Suha got the date wrong with the delivery and was apologetic when I called so she did offer to send something else the following week and she did. My wife liked the first arrangement but she did mention it wasn't one of her favorites but I suppose the beauty in Suha's flowers is more the arranging versus quantity of flowers. When I saw it, I agreed, it was a little dull because it was just white lilies and green leaves, but it was still a nice arrangement. I must admit I was planning on giving her three stars at first because I wasn't too thrilled with the standard offer for a 25 dollar arrangement but the final product was decent and of course Suha was apologetic with the mistake and did replace it when many other small flower shops would not. I guess the mistake--and being corrected makes me want to return. read more

At the completion of the easy online order process, the confirmation screen conveniently provided the direct number for Le Printemps in case I had questions. I wanted to make sure the order could be delivered as early as possible in the afternoon (I placed the order around 10:30 a.m.). The staff member who answered assured me they would do their best, and that it would be delivered well before 5:00. This place is downstairs from my workplace. I wanted to send 2 long stem roses to my wife. At first the guy with a British accent greeted me and he was excellent in understanding my situation. I basically needed to get flowers to my wife who works in a federal building. Long story short I came back to the store after speaking to the man and was then greeted by a lady who i think is the owner. My experience with her was not great. She said the flowers could not be delivered in the morning (anytime before 12) and then when I said I wanted to see other stores to see whether they could deliver before then she became argumentative, said I was 'threatening' her and the other's arrangements are no where near as good as hers... Anyway when I went to pay she said $50 min + $15 for delivery. so basically I would have to pay $65 for two long stem roses. I smiled and walked out - won't be going back there again read more

WARNING: You do NOT want to give these people your business. The owner and her staff are heartless people. They bad-mouth customers for no reason and don't even have the decency to hang up the phone before doing so. I would give Le Printemps Flower Shop 0 out of 5 stars, if I could. When I contacted Le Printemps this morning, I said good morning and introduced myself to the woman over the phone. I advised that I was looking for flowers for same day delivery, and had found a simple bouquet with an online competitor for $30. Before making my purchase with the competitor, I thought it would be nice to possibly support their business, as they are a 2 minute walk from where I work and where I needed the flowers to deliver (for a fellow employee). I said that I was looking for a small, basic, flower bouquet, with no preference on flower type. Considering that 1) I only wanted a basic bouquet, 2) that I had no preference on what flowers were used, and 3) that they were only a 2 minute walk from the delivery location, I wondered if they would be able to meet the $30 price that the competitor quoted. The woman over the phone said that their flowers began at $60. I said that I understood, thanked them for their time and wished them a good day. Before I hung up the phone, however, I began to hear a woman in the background stating that I was CHEAP and that the phone call should have been CUT SHORT. From that woman's demeanor, it was evident to me that she was the owner. I then heard the woman, who I spoke with on the phone, agree and say that I just kept talking. I proceeded to hang up the phone before I heard any other hurtful comments come out of their mouths. For the record- I checked my call log and was on the phone with them for 2 minutes and 30 seconds. 2 minutes and 30 seconds!! I am disturbed and disgusted by this business. I will make sure to share this experience with my office and with the property management team of my building complex so that NO ONE in my building will EVER order flowers from you. All I wanted to know was whether or not you would meet a competitor's price. You should be ashamed of yourselves. read more

Le Printemps prepared the floral arrangements for our wedding this past May. All I can say is: GORGEOUS! Suha was a delight to work with -- her flowers are high quality and her arrangements just tied the whole look together. And she really put a lot of personal care into the whole process! Her flowers are fairly priced -- we did not get upcharged to 10 bucks per peony simply because it was a wedding (like so many florists will do!). No, Suha's prices are really fair, especially if you look at the quality of flowers and arrangements your getting in return for that! We were really happy that we decided to work with her for our wedding and have immediately passed her info on to the next couple we know that's heading down the aisle. Thank you for the exquisite Mother's Day Bouquet. I ordered online from CT but as I was born and raised in Washington, DC, and have been using them since the early 80's, I knew and trusted Le Printemps for the perfect floral arrangement. They have an established reputation for excellence and with good reason. I ordered my favorite, Peonies (with hydrangeas) because their transcendental and singular beauty always reminds of my mother. Had I ordered from any other shop I would have been concerned that the delicate and airy balance of the lush petals would have been compromised in some fashion secondary to the transport. However, not to worry because my mother said the arrangement was beautiful and she reserves those type of descriptors and uses them rarely. I can only say that if you have an event that requires floral perfection and nothing else will do; Le Printemps will deliver in spades.
