$72 GEL MANI AND PEDI. Honestly you might as well paint your own nails, the price is outrageous for such low quality work. It wasn't much customers and I know something was up. I'm trying to find the positives in the business and yet alone the service but it sucked. I just wanted to give you guys a little update since these reviews are old. read more

Great service at Amazing price. David did my pedicure, he was patient and thorough. Relaxing environment

I have been to Urban Nails many times. Usually good pedicure. Today not so much. Quickest pedi ever!! Asked to have nails touch up on tips where nail was showing through - She left me sitting in chair to dry and never return to put my sandals back on. Feet feel rough; not usual smoothness . Will not return read more

When I go to a salon for a pedi I like relaxation. The owners have twin 5 year old girls that are always in the customers face. That is not my idea of relaxation read more

My boyfriend and I came here to get pedicures. We walked in without an appointment and we were seated in the chairs right away. Granted, they weren't very busy. Both the techs took their time. It was my boyfriend's first time getting a pedicure but they did a wonderful job on him (his toes were bad). Paid $32/each & I did regular paint. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Right down the street from my house so use to be so convenient .. the old staff Use to care and put effort into you but i believe they have new ownership now so they upped the prices and can care less about the consumer. They Rush through and don't take their time to really do it right or take pride in the work they put out ...If you want something to last jus for maybe a day ,go here, need it in a pinch, go here- but if you want it to last and feel good about the money u spent then go somewhere else. Also pedicures not worth the money. They charge you extra to darn there do anything outside of washing and painting your toes. They tried to charge extra to use a dollar store scraper that literally does NOTHING. Its not even the razor where it actually scrapes all the dead skin off. Anyway, Shouldn't removing dead skin be part of a pedicure?Especially when its 50$ or more ? They go threw the motions but they don't actually do anything... even in the beginning when they push your cuticles down on your toes, they don't even do it or take their time...they tapped each nail with the tool never actually pushed anything down lol literally no exaggeration.. jus made it LOOK like they were doing something... even when they go around ur toes with the cuticle cutter its the BARE minimum.. they leave so much dead skin on your feet.. So ur feet look no different and feel no different when they are done and you are $50-60$ poorer. Save yourself the money cause you could do a better pedicure on yourself or go to Queens in Kennywood shopping plaza because your feet look and feel amazing for weeks for the same price this place is charging... Mani's and full sets are so -so , lucky if they look good for at least a week. Every time id go id get the same thing and pay a different price depending on who I got. Will never waste money here again unless i need something simple like maybe a polish change and even then they're overcharging for that. I'd have to be in a pinch like I said in the beginning .. read more

This place is well overpriced and the technicians they had in there the few times I went was horrible! I never had such a bad pedicure or manicure in my life! I got a gel polish change and they charged me 30 dollars... are you serious?? Just for a polish change. I normally pay half that for a gel polish change. I will never go back. Save your money and drive to Queen's in the Kennywood shopping mall. Prices are great and the service is Amazing! read more

Since changing ownership, it's like any other mediocre nail salon. Too bad because the previous owners and manicurists were wonderful.

I love this place ! 6 years being overseas I returned to the same great ownership! Friendly , fantastic , and very clean I had a nail polish (gel) change on my toes and a fill in a little over an hour Best job on my nails I've had in a long long time Glad to be back Highly recommend Le and Sonny read more

My daughter and I just left from getting one of the best pedicures either of us have ever had. I am very picky and treating myself to what I consider a luxury I expect a lot. Tony was amazing and truthfully I have never had my toes look this perfect. He was detailed and through. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Tony was very thankful but I am the one thankful for finding quality !!!! read more

My two friends and I went to go get acrylics the other day. I was a little nervous at first because it was my first time going. I had Jen who was very nice. I have a habit of biting my nails which leave my nail bed rough and dry. Jen and my friend's nail technician (sadly didn't get her name) gave me advice and applied stuff to help. Jen was very gentle and didn't hurt me once. All of our nails were beautiful. read more

So rude made an appointment 2 weeks ago with a specific person and go to appointment and they just tried to give me someone else. I always tip over 25 % and I work with the public so I know I'm not difficult. Never will be back read more

These folks do not care about their customers and will not go the extra mile. There are way too many other places to go for good service

I have gone here before several times, this specific time I was highly displeased with their service. I walked in and wanted to get a gel fill for my nails. They waved me over to the wall where they had their display of all their gel colors. I didn't know what color I wanted so I was looking and a second later a lady came over and asked me what color I wanted and I had no idea, so she continued to stand there awkwardly which pressured me into picking a random color. She then took me to her chair and looked at my nail, then called another girl over, and then they made me switch seats to another person. Then a man came out of the backroom who I have never seen before (and I have gone their several times so I am decently familiar with their staff) he sat down and started taking the gel polish off, he then took acetone and foils and put them on my nails. When he was done he said he would be back and proceeded to take his phone out and go sit in one of the massage chairs and play on his phone for around 10 minutes. When he came back and took the foils off my nails were stinging. He then proceeded to scrap a and file the tops of my nails so hard it hurt very badly. Then buffed my nails to the point where they were paper thin. Then he started to cut my cuticles and he wasn't being careful at all and cut me badly 2 TIMES. When I went over to wash my hands before they put on the new gel polish my finger was bleeding so bad and my nails were so thin I knew the new polish would sting my nails and I didn't want to do it with the cuts around my fingers. When I went back i said "can I please just pay for you taking off my nails, I don't want to put a new color on anymore." he looked confused and all the other technicians looked and I felt very judged. Then they charged me $15 just to have the polish taken off, my healthy nails ruined and cuts on both of my hands. On their board, it said $5 to have nails taken off but I didn't want to argue so I gave them $15 in cash and left. I am very upset and would not recommend going here for any services. read more

It go here!!! read more

I just moved to the area. I got my eyebrows waxed at this salon. I normally get them waxed every other month. I do not have sensitive skin. They burned the skin off under my eyebrows. I do not recommend this salon. read more

I have been growing my nails out. I decided to get dip because I know that it can provide the extra strength that I was looking for while also allowing me to keep my nails done. The first time I got it done, it only lasted for 1.5 weeks. However, I decided to go back because I liked that my nails grew (as they normally do) and they did not chip. I just got the dip done and I hate it. One, it looks like gel nail polish. Two, they filed my nails down so low that it burnt and I said something about it, but that's not the point. They really don't know what they're doing there. I already know my nails will be weak when I take the dip off at the end of next weekend. I'm never going back there again. I feel that this was done on purpose because I stressed that I was growing my nails out and wanted to maintain their healthiness. From now and on, I'm doing my own nails. I'm tired of the nail salons, their products, and the fact that they damage your nails while doing them; all of this defeats the purpose of deep!!! I wish I hadn't even gone there. I know I have to cut my nails and wait a month until they regain their strength. read more
