Food is delicious, their cookies are to die for and employees are friendly and fast. Great experiences every time I visit this location. Lucy always makes sure we are well taken care of, she goes above and beyond. Thanks highly recommended read more

Been to a few Urbanes and they're all pretty much the same, similar to Mendocino Farms. Mostly about the sandwiches and salads in the fresh fast casual style, also a few bowls and soups. There's lots of fresh and healthy food choices, but some more decadent options, too. We split a steak sandwich and house salad, both tasty but nothing exciting. This location seemed clean, well-run and had a slow steady stream of customers. Located in a medium -sized shopping center so plenty of parking. read more

What a great location, I found it easy to get to and appreciate they had outdoor seating. Parking was very tight like the spots were made for compact cars only. When I first walked in I noticed a nice young lady smiling at me which made me feel happy. I wasn't sure what to order and she was great with the recommendations. I chose the Chicken Club that was to die for. Definitely more food then I can eat but I thought the portion fit the price. I tried both lemonade's, the passion fruit was my favorite. The restaurant was very clean and the workers were ready to help if you needed anything at all. read more

This casual cafe is absolutely wonderful... great food ,and the staff is super friendly, and the service is quick and attentive."

I had such a great experience here. My card wasn't working and kept getting declined, but the guy working was so kind and understanding. Instead of making a big deal, he just smiled and gave me the food for free. That kind of generosity and customer service is rare these days. The food was great too, but what really stood out was how nice and genuine the staff were. I wish I had got the name of the guy but Thank you! read more

This Urbain, café in Camarillo was a pleasant surprise. I knew there were several of these in Ventura County, but I did not yet get an opportunity to try, until recently. I ordered a tri-tip sandwich with the salad and a drink and I was blown away by the quality of the salad and sandwich; both in flavor and preparation. The cashier was very informative and guiding me to the right decision. I enjoyed sitting outside, but noticed the inside was very clean and would've been a mice option on a colder day. I know I need to try the location in Simi in Valley, to see if it is just as good. This being a family business, I'm counting on it. read more

This is a place you need to go... the people are amazing. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is great.

I ordered the Baja Bowl. One of my favorite items in the bowl are the Fresno chilis. I ordered pickup and was not notified they did not put the chilis in the dish. Very disappointed. read more

Yum yum yummy!!!!!! It's hard to find places with good salads. I'm a salad junkie. I had never been here and ordered the Santa Maria salad and it was one of the best salad making choices I have ever made. It has barbecued chicken with the bbq sauce on it, fresh greens that are not iceberg (pet peeve against iceberg lettuce. Barf. ) and pieces of cheese. The salad was a perfect size and didn't skimp on the meat. I also had the enchilada soup and it was good. The bread they serve is fluffy and warm and I love it. This blows Panera bread out of the water. Panera who?? They also have sandwiches which I bet are bomb as well. Check it out. read more

I attended the Yelp Elite event at the Camarillo location. I have been to the location in Pismo Beach and Ventura but never the Camarillo location. I got the Turkey club sandwich one of my go to orders. All of their sandwiches are made on fresh baked bread. All of the people who work at Urbane are kind and have great customer service. The service was fantastic and very clean. I would definitely come back to this location. read more

Urbane café is hands down one of my favorite places to order food from. I order catering, sometimes the day of for emergency meetings. Anything we order is always excellent, from the delivery of the food to the presentation to the quality. I have zero complaints and only compliments. Their prices are also reasonable and I like their rewards program. Thank you for being a few of the restaurants I can count on in Camarillo. I would give them more stars if I could. read more

The Southwest sandwich is extremely spicy - too much pepper, etc. Why do you make stuff so spicy? Next time can I ask to make it less spicy?

It's my first time trying this place and I'm wondering why I haven't tried it before! I got the Chimichurri steak sandwich and really likes the sauces and the bread. They were good sized sandwiches, so I saved the other half for the next day and it was still just as good as when it was made. I also got a side of focaccia bread and the tomato soup. The bread is nice and soft but I like it more toasted on the outside. So I brought it home and toasted it a bit more. The bread dipped in the tomato soup is delish. Looking forward to trying all their other sandwiches and salads too! read more

Their salmon salad is a huge success in taste and size. Perfectly done salmon with great greens. Incredible bread. Walk-up service. This location has a terrific outdoor seating area but inside has decent decor with wood-like tables. Decent bathroom. read more

Good salad menu but we only tried their Ojai Harvest seasonal special - it came with a unique orange turmeric dressing and was quite good. Located at the corner of a large shopping and restaurant mall so lots of parking in the back. Great spot for family with kids as they have a very inviting tree in front for kids to climb up and play underneath. However, the noise level can be high so people who want quiet dining can only sit inside, which is a bit small. Very fast and efficient service. Would come again to try their regular menus if we are in the area. read more

Excellent food. Super fast service. The online ordering worked perfectly. Great price for quality.

I love the So Cal sandwich. The service is fast and friendly. The manager is awesome, we always get greated with a smile. My go to spot!!

Food was very good clean location I will be coming again. Was created by staff and thanked .

The food was excellent. I didn't write this right away, we visited a year ago. I had heard great things about the place and the food met expectations. After the meal I needed to use the restroom, and a worker, flushed and headed straight for the kitchen. I gave him grace, thinking that perhaps the toilet took a while to flush so he may have washed his hands, but when I used the restroom, it had finished flushing by the time I approached the sink. No dice on the worker washing his hands. People were carefully putting recyclables on the top of the cans since there appeared to be no recycling bins. As we left I saw another worker come grab all the recyclable containers ($.05 cash value) and toss them in the garbage in a place where recycling is required. Not impressed. Won't go back. Won't recommend. read more

Ordered for 4 people. All side salads were wilting. One meal we paid extra to sub chips and got home and there were no chips. Frustrating.

Listen y'all, I know it's controversial... I'm actually not a huge sandwich person, but this place is the only place that I get so excited about to order a good sammie. Now if you haven't been to Urbane cafe just yet... what are you waiting for?! Don't worry I got you, the following are MUST HAVES: Southwest - great tasting sandwich, love the avocado, corn, and pepper jack cheese combo. You can't go wrong this is my go-to. Steak BLT - this one is so delicious if you're looking for some red meat in your sandwich, the sundried tomatoes and caramelized onion flavors mesh so well together. Cilantro chicken salad - if you're not craving a sandwich, this salad is so incredibly tasty The Ahi - super fresh salad, such a power meal that you won't be left hungry. *Hot tip - Their enchilada soup is the bomb.com we often upgrade our cup of soup to a bowl that comes with the sandwich! Also, don't sleep on their fresh baked cookies for a sweet treat! Urbane cafe as a healthy and fresh fast food restaurant is a 5. The reason for one star off at this location is due to logistics and their online ordering system. I would recommend ordering ahead of schedule and giving an extra five minutes before heading to the restaurant because (good for them) this place is always busy! The service is always friendly and does their absolute best. I can go on and on about Urbane cafe, but you'll just have to drop by to get it! - Jess read more

Urbane Cafe was always my go to for lunch, during my college days - in Ventura. Glad to see they're all over Ventura County now. This location is off the 101 N fwy next door to Cagami Ramen. Haven't been here in maybe years & a Yelp event brought me back while they're selling those limited red velvet cookies. I recommend: * SoCal * Southwest * Chicken Cranberry Brie * The Californian * Bella Portobello * The Ahi salad * The Salmon salad I always base it on feel & activity of the day so can't go wrong with their protein & salads here. If you're in for a treat, grab a cranberry white chocolate cookie while it's fresh! You actually can't go wrong with their cookies here. Quick & simple healthy eats. They're known for their fire-baked focaccia bread. Add the dipping sauce if you dare! read more

Healthy and fresh fast food restaurant. The variety and quality of the food didn't disappoint even during the pandemic. They have a nice seating area facing the freeway - you will see planes approaching to land at the Camarillo airport. Highly recommended. read more

Love this place. Love the sandwiches there. Have been to several locations and ordered the same thing. Its consistent. Love this place.

Very good sandwiches however it is on the pricier side for the size of meal that you get!. I would eat it again but would only double think it because of the price. read more

It's about time I wrote this review... This is one of the best healthiest restaurants anywhere. I have been a fan of the sandwiches for years (though wishing their great bread was sliced thinner) but I must say the Poblano Corn soup is the best I have had anywhere. Sorry Panera. The Ahi Tuna & Salmon salads are delightful and so fresh. The only thing I wish they could replace or add on is, instead of kale.. ARUGULA! Kale is so over for many of us and tastes like lawn clippings. This is my opinion. Keep up the fresh great food UC! Thank you! read more

My one star is all about the service. The food is delicious. A few months ago I placed an online order for a So Cal sandwich and a Cranberry Brie sandwich. Picked them up and drove home only to end up with 2 So Cal sandwiches. Tonight I placed the same order and guess what?! I got home and ended up with 2 So Cal sandwiches. (my receipt shows any correct order) My bad for not checking my order when I picked it up). I could see this happening once, but twice? Had to drive back to get the correct sandwich twice! And NO COMPENSATION offered for my time or trouble of having to drive back. Seriously... it's not rocket science... get yer act together! read more

People with food allergies beware! I came in person to order because the online allergen menu was not very clear regarding their allergens. The teenager at the register was absolutely lazy, lied and he said there was no allergen menu and that they would not be able to tell me what was "exactly" in any of the items. The young man simple did not care nor did he understand what a liability his action are towards the business. We left without ordering anything Good luck Urban Cafe hope nobody dies from your employees carelessness. read more

Ordered through the Urbane Cafe mobile app, it was really easy to customize my order to my liking. My sandwich had a good portion of each item. If you love veggies and chicken, I would recommend adding chicken to the californian vegetarian sandwich, it's really good. I also noticed on the receipt of the take out bag they highlight to make sure all your items in your order are correct before handing it to you which is really good to see ! :) read more

This Urbane Cafe is THE BEST!! The service is consistently great! I have been going to the Camarillo Urbane Cafe for over 3-years now. I chose the curbside pickup option because I'm pretty tired after a long day at work, and very much appreciate this special service. They always bring the food with a genuine smile and greet me with such kindness. I have always had a positive experience with all the servers, and the manager is the kindest person. Most of the servers know me by name, and it makes me feel like I'm part of a kind community. The world is so harsh these days, and to be treated like a valued customer with such genuine kindness means so much, and to have such great food made perfectly all the time is a fantastic plus!
