Very kind people who serve fantastic pizza in a clean and spacious pizza parlor--I get CT pizza vibes and everyone knows CT pizza is the best ;) Last visit I tried the vodka chicken parm, WOW. Best sandwich I've had and I've been to sandwichitos down the street many many MANY times. It was beautifully presented too and enough to split with someone. I also loved their Brooklyn Best canned iced tea made with black tea and cane sugar, not too sweet...perfect!! I immediately noticed the bread tasted like pizza dough, so pillowy and soft. I think that elevates the already great sandwich topped with burrata and grated chz. On my way out I asked and they confirmed it is, isn't that cool? They were so happy to hear I enjoyed my meal. Cutie patooties. Definitely worth a visit. I like the separate room to dine in, the staff check in occasionally to make sure you're enjoying your meal and to wipe down tables.

Tucked away in a quirky shopping area, you'll find great pizza that I always seem to forget about. One thing to remember is their Vodka Chicken Parm Sandwich. This new menu item is spreading like wildfire on numerous social platforms. So much so, that we went out on a Saturday afternoon to avoid FOMO. I gotta say this unique and imaginative take on an old stand-by, makes it one of the best Chicken Parms we've ever had. The homemade bread, stracciatella cheese and vodka sauce really puts it over the top. The fact that they slice the chicken cutlet up, rather than placing the whole breast on the sandwich is a game changer. We'll be back. But next time we'll get 2, (one per person), rather than sharing.

Excellent Food and Friendly Service the best in Edgewater . Feels like coming home .

I think I had higher expectations for the viral vodka chicken parm sandwich. The bread was basic. I hoped for more sauce and maybe even more cheese. Most of all, I expected it to be one solid breaded chicken parm and not pieces of cut up chicken :(

I really enjoyed the personal pizzas at Urban Tomato. They came out hot and fresh, with a nice crust. I had the margarita pizza with pepperoni. The pizza tasted great with the fresh basil. The gluten-free buffalo chicken pizza was also good. I thought the cauliflower crust tasted nice and had a good texture. Our server was very nice and helpful. The restaurant itself is casual and has lots of natural light.

We came in today for a quick slice. Sat outside and the lovely employees brought us extra ice water. It may seem like such a small gesture - but we were already done paying, simply sitting outside and finishing up our slice and the employee's thoughtfulness just made me like this place even more And the slice was crispy and perfect.

EVERYTHING IS DELICIOUS - but the mushroom pizza and this shawarma chicken salad are to die for!! The chicken is perfectly marinated, you feel full. It's super healthy but delicious healthy!!! And the service is always great! Akram and Fran are super kind! You feel like you're walking into someone's kitchen and being served graciously! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Superb! The crunch and crispness of the crust should be telling enough. The flavors are simple but flavorful and Urban Tomato has reaffirmed our belief of keeping pizzas simple so the flavors shine through. The staff is amazing and so very courteous - always checking your make sure you have everything you need!

Three stars for the effort. Unfortunately one of the meatballs tasted different from the other in my pasta dish. Meaning it lacked any flavor compared to the other. The meal was also overpriced for what you pay for. In terms of quality and taste. $40 for the pictures below. $24 for a whopping two meatballs with pasta.

Great NY style thin crust pizza, found myself eating the crust which I rarely do. Honey chicken and tomato Basel slices were delicious.

Very good. I would even say it's better than the palisades park location. I got the margarita pie and it was delicious.

That being said, thought I give them another chance given all the slice places within a few blocks in this section of Morningside Heights. While a reasonably priced basic cheese slice, but not the cheapest, don't be fooled by their pizza's appearance. Although the crust was OK, the excess grease that slid off of my pizza was: 1) something no one should ingest and 2) required a bib to avoid staining clothes. Maybe Famiglia's "famous" recipe is for clientele are out-of-towners (and a few local bozos) who eat their slice with a knife and fork! My reco - If you're hungry for a classic New York slice and want the real local thing, go to "old school" Koronet immediately across the street!

I came here for dinner and was shocked at how friendly every single person was. Immediately greeted, service was quick, and every person that came to our table was so helpful. I got the chicken Marsala and my partner ordered the Clam Chowder which was AMAZING. I also ordered garlic bread with a very tasty Pinot Grigio. Finding a traditional Italian restaurant with good food and ambiance is always a plus in any city…read more I had hoped that V&T Pizzeria might be just that, a great place for simple pasta dishes with an old-world feel. While the food was fine, the real issue with the restaurant was the environment. My partner and I were seated two tables away from an older woman who proceeded to take a very long call on her phone at the table, using her speakerphone setting. A short time later, another person at the back of the room started the same. Having two loud conversations throughout dinner due to someone on speakerphones did not make for a pleasant experience. The goal of any restaurant should be to create as comfortable an experience as possible for patrons so that they are encouraged to return. While the food experience would have warranted that, the lack of staff management over the disruptive issue of people on their speakerphones during dinner ruined the entire meal. My partner or I could have said something to the customers, but we feel it should be the job of staff or management to handle this, not the patron. And while some will say that this is the way of the world today, we can't accept that. There is a way to act in public, in polite society, which includes stepping outside to take a phone call so other patrons are not disturbed. Other than this significant issue, the waiter was friendly, the food service was quick, and the food was flavorful for the most part. The garlic bread was not of the quality we expected: The bread had been haphazardly coated with a garlic mix that contained very large chunks of garlic, and was not very enjoyable to eat. The bread itself ws simply a piece of French bread cut in half; again, not much effort put into the quality or presentation. One of us ordered Ravioli, and it was clear that the pasta had not been drained properly. There was significant water collection around the sauce. While we might try V&T again, we are inclined to hesitate the next time we are in the area because of this experience. We hope the management discusses this issue and decides to encourage patrons to step outside for their phone calls.

The crust is always "just right"- crispy, fresh, and consistently delicious. Beyond the food, I am so happy to note that the evening ambiance has evolved beautifully. The music is no longer as loud as it once was; it's now at a volume that allows for great conversation while still maintaining a vibrant energy. What really makes Fumo shine is the service and the attention to detail. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the service is nothing short of exceptional every single time. I also have to mention the personal touches that add so much character to the space - the real candles in crystal-like holders create a warm, elegant atmosphere that does not go unrecognized. The entire restaurant is always very clean and welcoming. If I had one small "wish list" item, it would be to see some tap beers added to the menu - I would absolutely love to enjoy a Peroni on draft with my meal! My daughter ordered a lemon drop and OMG--it was so good. I had a Pinot Grigio and was happy they still had happy hour going. The kids had iced tea, and the staff was kind enough to make a raspberry lemonade for them, which they loved. I also really appreciate when restaurants notice kids and automatically bring cups with covers--small detail, but it makes a difference. For food, I ordered the rotativo bolognese--WOW. So much meat and packed with flavor. My mom had the burger and especially loved the truffle fries. The kids got spicy calamari with sauce (I don't usually like seafood, but it honestly looked amazing). The other adults had chicken penne alla vodka and chicken parm with penne, both enjoyed. The kids also ordered sausage and pepperoni pizza, and we accidentally ended up with a margarita pizza too--no complaints there! Service was elite--attentive, friendly, and made the birthday feel special. The place itself is nice and cozy, perfect for date night or family outings. We ended with cheesecake for the birthday girl, which was the perfect touch. I know they have other locations, and we'll definitely be checking those out too.

We had the unfortunate idea to grab some food here as we enjoyed some games (btw it's $15 a person to play indefinitely as long as they have space for your group). We ordered the burger, chicken sandwich, Cajun fries, hummus and pita and tater tots. For such a spacious location, they must have a play kitchen because most of the food was inedible. The "best" thing about my chicken sandwich (three tenders- was not even a patty) was the brioche bread. The "best" thing about the hummus was the pita. My friend took two bites of the burger and felt sick. We thought we had been pranked but felt sad about throwing so much food away. Just don't do it. I don't want to think about this food ever again. If you must, apparently the coffee was good and they have other drinks and pastries (which they hopefully outsource!).
