The weather in April in Toledo was terrible so I was forced to stay next door at the Sheraton since I could not get a ride until the next day. This restaurant is in Holiday Inn, in the airport area. The area doesn't v have a ton of choices, so I was happy to have found this piece! The filet mignon was delicious and the service was great. Had family from out of town . great time spent by all our waitress was phenomenal was able to order just about anything from the menu for breakfast minus eggs benedict and steak and eggs but everything else as great. The sirloin was cooked to the medium rare temperature I asked for but I thought it was a little too salty, which is sometimes done to cover up lack of flavor in the beef. My husband and I were staying at the hotel next door after a very long day of moving, and came in for a late night bite to eat after checking in. It was very quiet, as they just re-opened due to COVID. Our server was super friendly and attentive. My hubby and I split the Ribeye with a baked potato and broccoli, and a Caesar salad. I am taking Covid into consideration. I heard great things about this place and decided to give it a chance. Maybe when business was booming, things were better. The waitress was standoffish, she rushed me along to order than virtually disappeared and when I did see her, she couldn't manage to crack much of a smile. This place is good for a weary traveler spending a night in Romulus. The Traverse salad and Mac/cheese was really good. Bourbon Street chicken was basic breast with syrup which is what I would prefer over a surprise that would make travel difficult the next day. The bartender, Kelly was friendly and accommodating. That's about the only thing positive I can say about the place. How this place has even 3+ stars was beside me. The Mahi tacos when they set them down smelled like they fished them out of dirty pond water a week ago. My husband's steak had a gross sauce on it so he order a different one without the sauce and the meat was as tough as leather. He asked for it to be prepared medium. Ok, so this is my second time coming to this restaurant, I wanted to wait because it's a pretty quiet, laid back restaurant ( even with the televisions going) I wanted to see the environment differently. Well I must say both times I came, it's a chilled spot, sharing the space with the Holiday inn. Of course you don't have to stay at the hotel to eat, because it has its own interest. The ambiance is nicely suited, you can either make this a Date night, or a lunch spot. Either or, it's a good place be at. Did I mention they have free WiFi ... yes with a outlet at any of the booths. So you can come and have some very good food, while getting some work done. I would recommend this place. If you decide to come ask for " John", he is the sue Chef, very cool guy , He took my order, recommended some food, offered a few different types of beer to drink. He came around in a timely fashion to see if I needed anything!! And he actually wanted my feed back on my food, which made my opinion feel appreciated. All the while I thought he was a waiter, when he actually wasn't which made it epic. I would've gave this place a 5 but when I walked in the door. What I soon discovered to be the waiter. Was talking to someone else , and when I asked do I have to seat myself, she said yes, as if I was bothering her. For the next hour in a half. She proceeded to ignore my table, and help other customers as they entered the restaurant. Always as if she looked down at me. And let me explain, there were only 2 customers at any given time! So it was quite clear she did not want to service my table, by avoiding me at anytime.
