We bought an old and long-neglected house in Chicago with a very over-grown yard and vines practically swallowing the garage and a good part of the house. At first I was surprised at the cost for the job, but when Urban Roots showed up, they had four men who were there and working hard from about 10 a.m. until 5 p.m., climbing up extension ladders to get every branch and vine and hauling away truckloads of debris. So, I called them up and Sharonda was very courteous and professional. Jimmy came out in no time, gave me an estimate, explained the work, and I ended up hiring them. We scheduled an appointment and they were there on time, working while I went to work, came home and my lawn looked great! I wanted all the vegetation snatched up in the back, so i could put pavers down, so they did a complete kill in the back and that looks great too. I called Urban Roots and requested a quote for them to come out and cut down my 30 foot tree that was in my backyard. They came to my home quickly to give me an estimate. After I agreed to the price, they came on time, on the day that I selected, order to cut down my tree and I watched the whole process, while I celebrated with a nice bottle of wine! This tree had me raking up 10 bags of leaves every year for 20 years, and it attracted too many squirrels, birds, bugs and pests and I'm so happy with the service that I received and the company's professionalism.
