I had the option of hydro jetting or pouring a clog-clearing product called "Liquid Lightning" (which I never heard of) down the drain. I found the product at Walmart & used it as directed. So far, so good. I have two water heater replacements as well as other plumbing repairs coming in the near future & I will not hesitate to call Rockstar Plumbing. My water heater had been giving me trouble over the last couple of months, shutting off sporadically. While I was usually able to reset it myself, it finally gave out completely. There was no gas coming through the line, and it just wouldn't ignite. I called Shellback, and within two hours, Moises arrived at my place. He was incredibly responsive, immediately diagnosed the issues, and gave me a clear breakdown of the work needed and the estimated timeline. The fix required replacing both the thermal pilot assembly and the gas control valve. Since the parts were covered under the manufacturer's warranty, he had to source them from an authorized dealer. To make sure we weren't left completely out in the cold, Moises got the gas ignitor working temporarily on day one. By 9:00am the very next morning, he had already picked up the warrantied parts and finished the permanent replacement! As a great bonus, he also flushed the water heater for routine maintenance before wrapping up. I was blown away by the turnaround time.
