Fabulous. I just moved to the area and needed a new stylist…read more I was greeted quickly and kindly. Michael offered me a glass of wine (which I happily accepted.) Tara was my stylist. She was right on time (I needed more time to drink my wine!) I have very thin hair that I actively work to keep from falling out. Tara gave me a great cut that looks good on me and works for my hair type. I can't say how hard it can be to find someone who understands thin hair but Tara did. I get the impression that she likes to keep up on all sorts of continuing education and likely has a good hand on lots of hairs. For you curly haired girls, she has naturally curly hair so she probably understands curly hair too! So, after my great cut she didn't have a product I was looking to purchase. So, she immediately said she would order it and still honor the new client 20% off. She did NOT recommend a ton of expensive products that don't work on thin hair as soon many stylists do. They do NOT accept tips on your credit card so be sure to bring cash. GREAT experience. This is my new place, for sure!

Leaving an update to remember that after thousands of dollars for hair services i am still sitting…read morehere waiting patiently for this permanent color to grow out! Probably another year an a half wait. Still angry at this salon for their deception. Imagine being lied to about what was being used on your hair. They never talked about hair goals or what they were trying to achieve never listened. Just chopped and dyed permanent color with each application leaving me with years if permanent color build up which has grown out brassy. Even though I made it clear to my person to never use permanent dye. The other lie was everything was "natural" plant derived. ! There are no shortage of salons in the area and there is no reason to be loyal to a place that charges you a fortune and deceives you!

This place! So, I…read morehave always been an edgy kind of girl, now woman. However, I've always had the same hair. Long, very long. I've had some highlighting and dying done in the past but nothing to extraordinary. It was time for a change! Absolutely sick of my hair, and the damage. So I sought out to find a fantastic salon. Someone who could bring my sad looking head of hair back to life again! I've heard of so many diffrent places to go to. However upon checking reviews I decided otherwise. At my wits end, I decided to try a diffrent area. I then found this awesome gem: soho studio for hair! The reviews were Great! So I took a change and booked a very last minute appointment! They were very nice on the phone about it, and paired me up with a sweet young lady named ruby! Upon arriving, I walked in and was greeted warmly by ruby! She was very sweet And so helpful from the start! She took me around and showed me everything. She than began to consult with me and asked me every detail of what I wished to be done. She was also very honest too, what would look better, and what would not. I cannot thank her enough for that! I also met the owner of the salon, who was also very nice and very helpful. She also engaged in the consulting and also helped with my hair too along the way. I had finally decided on a blue black hair coloring with a short undercut faux hawk. I had one pic to go by. They pulled it off to the *T* !!! Goodbye long hair as I laughed. It was such a fantastic experience as ruby and I had such great convo! We clicked! And I also feel that's so important too! She showed me all she was doing and what she was using! No surprises, that's the way it should be! The end result is that my hair totally looks and feels amazing!!!! It's healthy again! Ruby was great and my hair was not fried or not damaged as others have done in the past. It was perfect! And my haircut? Wow! Unique as the I am! And I keep getting fantastic comments on it now! I will tell anyone I know to go to this place! You just have to! They're great, they're professional, they're not just gonna sell you any color or just chop your hair, they're gonna consult you first. Heck they can even tell you stuff about your hairline or scalp that you might not even know. I learned quite a bit! Ruby is my *it girl* and that salon is my place now! I'm sold! Totally happy customer!
