Grout was allowed to be put down drain when installing walk in shower, had to get a plumber in to remove celling in family room to replace pipes that where full of grout which hardened and clogged drain. Ceramic seat in same shower warped and created water damage again had to get contractor in to fix the problem, Argos would not do anything ended costing me $460.00 to repair there poor workmanship. Had ceramic tiles in kitchen and main bath shifting and grout coming out, again hired a contractor to fix problem and again poor installation and again no help from Argos. Owner of Argos offered no compensation. I would never recommend this company to anyone, terrible customer relations.

Ah yes, Zone has seen a pretty penny from this lady. The good: This place is a delight to walk through. They have a unique selection of stuff for the home, and if you like to shop you will for sure love Zone. Their HQ is in Montreal, and all the staff are fully bilingual in this location. I saw another review of this place that disparaged the customer service, but that hasn't been my experience at all. I think the staff here are friendly, knowledgeable, and just plain lovely. If you see something you want that isn't in stock, they can order it in for you (usually from Montreal). The less-than-good: Normally when I walk in and buy something, the experience is seamless. There have been a couple of occasions where I had to have something ordered in because it was out of stock. On one occasion they neglected to call me when my item arrived, so I was waiting for quite a long time before I actually got it. When we ordered our couch, the delivery service was not the greatest. Last year literally every time I went into Zone to order something there were hiccups caused by the installation of a new inventory/POS system on the back end, which makes me think maybe the staff could have been trained better. The pros of this shop far outweigh the cons, and I love to come into Zone and take a peek around every now and then. People always ask "where did you get that?" about some of the quirky items in our home, and usually the answer is "Zone, in the market!"

For the amount of money I paid just for the wood floors this so called professional was anything but...I removed the old carpets myself to save a bit on the bill and Mike was to do the rest...midway through the flooring I asked him about screwing down the sub floor before laying the new floor and the reply was that was my job to do and it was on me...when i called the company about this their response was you should have asked, well if I'm the customer and they are the so called pro's maybe they should have brought this up at the time and I would have paid whatever the extra cost would have been, that being said the so called best installer did a piss poor job with nails from the nail gun coming out of the new floor...the company did not offer to fix but said this happens ever so often...REALLY....the same installer tiled my kitchen floor and when I asked him about my dishwasher being able to get it out of its slot he said there wouldn't be an issue he does this all the time and nobody has complained....well I am! I don't even have enough room to even try to lower the front legs to shimmy it out ...again the company knowing I had a dishwasher should have brought this to my attention before hand and I would have had my granite counter tops removed so everything could have been done correct the first time.....the overall quality of work done in my home was poor and the overall response I got from the salesman and the owner of the company was extremely piss poor and I would not recommend Athens to anyone because of the lack of response...I know that sometimes thing happen and things can go wrong and if Athens would have responded in a much better fashion and dealt with my concerns at the time then just blowing me off like they don't care now they got my money I would maybe recommend them to others but this is a company that only cares about being paid in full then onto the next victim errr I mean customer.
