Staying at a hotel close by, I wanted a pizza but wanted to try somewhere new. Yelp brought us to UR Pizza. Convenient online ordering and quick service. They are located in a strip mall (by a night club, wonder how much late night business that gets them). We just picked up but they did have a decent sized seating area. Huge pizza for a decent price and it hit the spot!

Lunch special: pizza and wings with drink for $12

Good value and good pizza and wings! Plenty of seats in restaurant but it seems it's mostly a takeout/delivery place.

This place has become my new favorite place with excellent pizza. And the service is great!

Cute little place in a shopping plaza. Decor and seating were comfortable. Ordered a medium combo pizza well done , to go. It was finished in 10 min and absolutely delicious. Staff was very friendly as well. Will try more things on the menu!

Don't downplay this place because of its location. This is some of the better pizza in the Hampton area. We especially liked the seafood pizza and the garlic knots. We ordered ahead for pickup and paid over the phone. Our food was ready in the quoted amount of time as we arrived, and was fresh and hot. The pizza dough is crisp and delicious, with the perfect ratios of sauce and cheese. The seafood pizza with crab and shrimp was especially good, and the seasoning on the garlic knots is delicious. The appetizer sampler was good, but would have been better eaten immediately inside the restaurant instead of as take-out. We would for sure eat here again!

BBQ Chicken 14 inch. I've eaten many pizzas in my day but this is top 5 easy... perfect amount of chicken, no grease, and a perfect crunch around the edges.

Very very wilted lettuce. This was side salad.

I ordered delivery. I order cheese pizza and the trio pasta dish. The trio came with a side salad and garlic bread. The leaves of the salad were wilted. They forgot to bring my dressing. They are bringing a new salad. But that will take another 1/2 hour. The half hour went by. Nobody. Never got my salad. With the way the lettuce looked I probably did not want it. I run an AirBnB here in Hampton and I won't let my guests eat or order from there. Update. The cashier named Nathan impersonated the manager. I had him call the actual manager and I told the manager that his cashier lied and I believe the driver lied about coming to the house. I left my house and stayed on hold and drove to the restaurant. When I arrived Nathan still had me on hold. I said you can hang up now. I told him integrity is very important to me and he has none. I said all he had to do is say the manager was not there. I demanded a full refund. Nathan should be fired for misrepresenting this company. Period

Soooooo good !!!!! Nice and clean. In a good area. I get my son haircut. My nails done. in the same parking lot. They have other things other than pizza. It taste so authentic

Philly Steak stromboli

Ordered mozzarella sticks and a Philly steak stromboli. Stromboli had nice flavor but like other Yelpers mentioned, not a lot of steak; first time having a flat stromboli. Some parts of the stromboli were chewy; felt like I was chewing pieces of paper. Dough was easy to pull apart versus having to saw apart. I'd recommend adding extra steak to your order.

The place is small, somewhat intimate/ close seating, but we were seated in a booth so not directly facing any other diners. The place was hopping! I started off with some very nicely brewed unsweet tea. A large plate of garlic knots were placed on the table. They were a bit doughy inside, just needed another minute of cook time. Portions are huge. We ordered one of the specials, 3 canneloni topped with shrimp and scallops, 2 large pieces of chicken parm with spaghetti, and a sausage with penne pasta. All meals included a basic green salad. We each ate about half of our entrees. They were very tasty! Service was attentive. Bill came to about $80 for 3 meals, a tea and a soda. The parking lot is busy but plenty of spaces, entrance tight for a wheelchair user but no steps. Dining area is very crowded. Still, we were looking for a slightly more upscale Italian meal and this did fill the bill. Plus we have pretty much a complete meal to take home!

I could tell that they have a well-oiled operation in that regard! Other than that, I'm afraid everything else was just extremely mediocre and bland. The only good food item we had was the bread. My husband and I both got different plates of ravioli of which was undercooked (I realize al dente is a popular way to prepare, but we don't care for it at all). My dish came in a wine sauce and it just looked and tasted like a microwaveable Lean Cuisine meal. We wouldn't recommend and wouldn't return.

The service and final bill was great until they increased the charge after leaving the restaurant,…read morewithout notification. I thought the bill was too low once we paid and then realized after the charge increase that (2) pizzas we ordered were left off the bill, thus the discrepancy in the charge. Have not pushed the issue since we did in fact get the pizza's but I would have appreciated notification that a discrepancy was found so I could account for the difference. Instead, they left me to find the charge increase on my account. Thankfully I found it. This was our first visit which we left feeling good about. This charging issue alone will prevent me from ever going back. Simply poor business. The pizza's leave a lot to be desired as well so patrons beware and make sure you double check you bill.

He stayed in touch with me from the moment we booked, checked in often, and made sure everything ran smoothly the day of. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine care set the tone for the whole event. The entire family and staff were just as kind and attentive. We had over 75 guests, and every single person had something wonderful to say, the food was delicious, the service was flawless, and the atmosphere felt like being welcomed into someone's home. They truly went above and beyond for us. After the event, a few of us lingered and were joined by their Nona (Mima). She is pure light - warm, welcoming, and full of love. Sharing stories and hugs with her was something I'll always treasure. Mama Rosa's isn't just a restaurant. It's a place filled with heart, family, and genuine hospitality. Do not hesitate -- go.

I'm not big into Italian food so maybe that's why. But just this Friday, a friend in a social group celebrated her birthday. So I decided to join in and finally check out this spot. Let's see how the night went, shall we? Our party had a reserved table up front by the check-in booth and the bar. Inside the decor is a bit dated, but everything was clean and tidy. Overall, it's not that big of a restaurant, but it can fit a decent crowd. After enjoying some salad and garlic bread, we were all ready to order. My meal was Pollo Marsala. Overall, the dish was good. I preferred slightly bigger chicken breasts, but what I had was good enough. The protein was cooked nicely and there was enough spaghetti to mix with the chicken and mushrooms. I also had some grated parmesean cheese which added some flavor to the dish. What a wonderful night for all of us. Table service, hospitality and good food. You couldn't have asked for anything more. Yours truly will be back soon :)

The restaurant is fairly upscale, dinner had candle lights and the tables were a little close together. Definitely a good spot for a date night. Highly recommend.

This has been high on my "want to try" for a long time and finally saw an opportunity with an available reservation, went for it and am so happy I did. I dined solo, which I rarely do, but this was the perfect place for it. It was apparent that most people dining were regulars. The owner was chatting with just about everyone and diners were popping over to other tables to say hello, as well. Felt like a very small town. Service was perfect - not overbearing, but perfectly timed for a good flow throughout dinner. Their menu changes often, so some of the items I loved, may not be available - but it does seem like their fried oysters are a mainstay and holy moly, they were delicious. I had one cocktail - I believe it was called Watermelon Sugar. It had vodka, aperol and fresh watermelon. Refreshing and smooth. I tried two apps: the fried oysters and the bao buns. Both were fantastic. Perfectly prepared, so much flavor. I think that next time, I would stick to the appetizer section and try many rather than getting an entree. I got the scallops, which were delicious, but the apps wow-ed me more. Prices aren't low, but you get what you pay for - really high quality dishes with lots of thought and execution embedded. I don't say this lightly - this has been added to my top 10 list in all of Hampton Roads!
