This location seems to be one of the newer Anna's locations on the peninsula. It was the only nearby eatery offering fried ravioli on a Sunday, which lead us there. The environs are bright with 2 dining areas and located in an easy access shopping center. They have a full bar and a few bar patrons, one of which was quite loud and exuberant. There is one bathroom, gender neutral of course. The unsweet tea was nicely brewed. The fried ravioli was as anticipated but served on some unnecessary shredded lettuce. We ordered a small cheese calzone and a small sausage roll. Both made to order and so large they extended over the plates! We enjoyed half and took half home. They looked to enjoy a steady take out business. For what we were looking for on a Sunday, this was a great choice!

I haven't been over in this area for ages, but we were nearby and my kiddo wanted McDonalds and...I most certainly did not. lol. So I called in an order for a meatball sub here to revisit the place after what looks like now about 8 years. Took my order to go. Service was very friendly and quick, and the interior is still really old-school cute. Food was solid, but nothing to rave home about. Meatballs were okay, but the bread was horribly soggy. Now the upside - I didn't finish it, so I took the bread off and reheated the meatballs the next day in the oven with extra sauce and cheese, then put it on some much better bread, and it was a great leftover. I just had to do the work to get it there...which not doing the work is sort of why you order out, am I right? I'd put this sub a step above a Subway meatball sub, but not on par with some of the other Italian places around.

Had a disappointing experience the pizza wasn't as advertised. It arrived cold and was just a basic pizza, nothing like the pictures.

Ordered off of GrubHub. This is the first time trying from this local place. It is about 20 min drive so I expected it to be soggy by the both the fries and pizza were perfect. Even the soda is cold. The toppings are fresh and flavors are great. Considering the amount of toppings and size of the pie, you get more than you pay for. Fries were crispy. Good flavor. Definitely will order from here again and try other menu items

Excellent service and delicious food! Definitely recommend the white pizza, spaghetti carbonara, cheese curds and vodka sauce pastas. This is a place where you feel like it's where you belong!

This is my first time here and I ordered the white pizza and it was very good! Everything was great, the amount of cheese, olive oil, garlic and spinach and the pizza was a lot bigger than I expected. Also the bread had good "chew" to it, I would definitely order from here again!

I'm fairly new to the area and my son ordered from this location today using Doordash. I am a native New Yorker, and got excited about the food choices-seemed similar to home! I decided to try a dish I have not had in years, their Chicken Scalopini, and unfortunately, I was disappointed. I was so hungry, but it looked and tasted so dry. It was as if the chicken cutlet and pasta were made separately, yet not married together with the wine and lemon sauce that was in the description. The angel hair pasta was the perfect consistency to be tossed with garlic and oil. The portion sizes were amazing, the salad was fresh, bread was good and soft, so I made a sandwich with the cutlet. I am hoping the restaurant had an off day.

I paid $20 for their 18" Chicken "bacon" Ranch pizza and it came with bacon bits and not a real slice of bacon in sight. Are you kidding me?

While others may have a more extensive wine list, Azzurri blends family-friendly comfort food with a warm, inviting, and clean atmosphere. Pair that with the friendly, personable staff and restaurant full of regulars and locals, and you have a winner all around. I even saw one couple walk in, hold up two fingers, and were recognized and seated immediately by the owner (by the way, this place is owned and run by a family--one gentleman even cooks in the kitchen some while his mother serves guests.) I've ordered the same dish elsewhere and this was the best I've had. It was absolutely clear to me that everything truly was homemade. If I had any suggestions, it would be a more extensive wine list and olives in the house salad! But that's trivial really, because this place is already a total gem. I look forward to many more meals here. Not pictured here is the pizza; a local fan favorite that I can vouch for.

You could tell the staff was hustling to keep up with all their tables, but they never dropped the ball. Nice cozy vibe too, felt intimate without being cramped. Portions were generous, no complaints there. We had a mix of pastas and pizzas across the table and everyone walked away happy -- food was solidly in the 7.5-8.5/10 range from all of us. Only thing , entrees come with a salad, but you can upgrade to soup instead. I'm not really a salad guy so I asked about soup, and I'm glad I did because it was really good. Just wish that was more clearly listed on the menu (maybe I missed it, but a few of us didn't realize it was an option until I asked). Definitely worth a revisit.

The highlight of the meal was definitely the Italian sub. I added sweet peppers, and that was absolutely the right move. It was fresh, flavorful, and packed with quality meats and toppings. If I come back, it will be for the sub alone--and maybe to give one of their pizzas a try. The chicken marsala, however, was a letdown. The chicken cutlet was thicker than I prefer and ended up being a little tough. More importantly, the marsala sauce lacked the rich, hearty flavor that makes this dish so comforting. It wasn't bad, but it just didn't have the depth or savory mushroom-forward flavor I was expecting. Overall, it didn't quite hit the mark for me. The Greek salad was fresh and a nice addition to the meal, but it wasn't enough to make up for the disappointment of the entrée. Since this was a takeout order, I can't really comment much on the overall service. The young lady who handed me my food wasn't particularly friendly, but she wasn't rude either--just kind of neutral. The interaction was quick and uneventful. Overall, Mamma Rosa's wasn't a bad experience, but it also wasn't one that left me eager to return. The Italian sub was excellent and is the only thing that would bring me back, along with maybe trying a pizza. As for the pasta dishes, I don't think I'd order those again

Overall, the dish was good. I preferred slightly bigger chicken breasts, but what I had was good enough. The protein was cooked nicely and there was enough spaghetti to mix with the chicken and mushrooms. I also had some grated parmesean cheese which added some flavor to the dish. The owner was chatting with just about everyone and diners were popping over to other tables to say hello, as well. Felt like a very small town. Service was perfect - not overbearing, but perfectly timed for a good flow throughout dinner. Their menu changes often, so some of the items I loved, may not be available - but it does seem like their fried oysters are a mainstay and holy moly, they were delicious. I had one cocktail - I believe it was called Watermelon Sugar. It had vodka, aperol and fresh watermelon. Refreshing and smooth. I tried two apps: the fried oysters and the bao buns. Both were fantastic. Perfectly prepared, so much flavor. I think that next time, I would stick to the appetizer section and try many rather than getting an entree. I got the scallops, which were delicious, but the apps wow-ed me more. Prices aren't low, but you get what you pay for - really high quality dishes with lots of thought and execution embedded.
