My coworker took me here for lunch. The food was delicious! And you can't beat 7.99 for an all-you-can-eat spaghetti lunch! It came with a drink and some bread. Next time, I want to try a sub! It's definitely a locals place! The server seem to remember everybody in there. The portions were extremely large! They have pizza, burgers, subs and as you can see, pasta! My first after following a recommendation for my pizza craving! So glad I did! The chef was attentive in preparing the pie with care. The way he worked the dough before adding the sauce and ingredients before "laying" it gently in the oven told me that this was going to be a very good pizza pie and it was! I give this establishment zero stars. Reason my first time ordering from them and they did not deliver pizza in a timely manner. They came with pizza and claim to not be able to deliver then redelivered pizza and it was as cold as the weather outside. Man I'm so conflicted on this one. I've been going to Riccos for YEARS because they have my absolute favorite pizza and the XL is ginormous and perfect for feeding the family (it's the biggest and best pizza I've found in the area). Their sauce is delicious, I love their cheese and pepperoni they use, and it's the most perfect New York style. All very quality ingredients. Their stuffed shells are on point and their subs are pretty good (not that Ive had all of them because they have a million on the menu). The cheesesteak is really good (meat is good quality and portion) and the cheeseburger sub is delicious- the burger meat is definitely high quality and hand formed). What's even better and really sets them apart is the house made dressing/oil and vinegar that comes with the subs. I could drink it from a cup. It's definitely good quality olive oil, good quality red vinegar (I believe), and dried Italian seasoning. Delicious. I always order an extra couple to throw in the fridge. This is why I'm conflicted. I placed an order for my brother and son to pick up on their way home from work. This was at 155p and was told 25 minutes- which I was fine with because it was a big order (XL pepperoni pizza, ham and cheese calzone, chicken Alfredo (comes with salad and bread), two large cheesesteaks with lettuce and tomato on the side (they charged me and extra dollar per container which rubbed me wrong), a side of Kalamata olives, side of feta cheese, and 3 extra house dressings. The lady on the phone was sweet and helpful and called me darling lol. It made me smile. I let the boys know we were set. Total came to $87. No big deal, stuffs expensive and really I didn't think the price was bad at all for what we ordered. I don't mind spending good money on good food. Well, they arrived at 220p as scheduled and wound up having to wait an additional 20 (which made for cranky boys after a long and busy work day- they were definitely a little hangry), but oh well- can't win them all. The boys got home with the food and I hollered for my daughter so we could go to town. Of course everyone hit the pizza first while I unpacked the bag. The first thing I noticed was my extra dressings- awesome!!! Then I noticed the containers were filled barely halfway. Again- things are expensive so ok, but I mean the price of the plastic container is probably more than the price of amount of oil and vinegar in it so is it really saving money shorting me on the O&V? I don't know. I gave my daughter her Chicken Alfredo and went to get my salad together. No container of kalamata olives. No container of feta. I opened my salad and it was CLEARLY old (had been pre-prepared and put in a styrofoam container and then in the fridge at least 1-2 days ago). I paid for the olives and feta and although I'm not sure how much they charged me for the sides, I'm sure it wasn't cheap because olive and feta are pricey items. So the boys were cranky from waiting extra and I was cranky because my olives and cheese were left out and my salad was fit for the dumpster,daughter said "Mom try this Alfredo, it doesn't taste like Alfredo." So I tried it and although it clearly had white sauce on the pasta, it tasted like NOTHING. It was the most bizarre sensory experience ever because it literally didn't even taste like maybe a béchamel that maybe Joey the chef forgot to put the cheese in (and wth is Alfredo with no cheese). It was clearly some sort of cheap jarred sauce that no one even bothered to season. I asked her how the chicken was and she said "chicken?". I looked at the container and they left the chicken out! I asked her why she hadn't said told me there was no chicken and she replied that she'd thought I just got her regular Alfredo, not chicken Alfredo. So at this point I actually do get kind of pissed off- $15 for Chicken Alfredo minus the Chicken and minus the Alfredo. So essentially about 20 cents worth of angel hair pasta. But the pizza is soooooo good! Hence the conflict. I ranted but also kind of laughed at the same time (chicken Alfredo with no chicken Alfredo lmao) and didn't bother calling, I did make mention that we would not be doing Riccos again... ...knowing of course that we will. I'm giving three stars because I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I came in to get one of my usuals, a cheeseburger and fries. Food took a long time but the waitress was very nice. When I finished she asked how it was and I told her it was very dry and that they've been juicier in the past. When I went to pay my bill I noticed a lot of people working that I had never seen before so I asked if they were new owners and they said yes they had taken over last week. They also said that there would be a whole new menu, which is cool with me because I hated the former owners spaghetti and meatballs, so if new owners sauce is good and meatballs are homemade I'll add a star or two to my next review. read more

I ordered the Veal Parmigiano dinner with mushrooms added. It was a takeout about a month ago. The cheese and veal were burnt, tough, and in a pool of oil. The mushrooms were so few and small that I couldn't identify them. I was told the little black things were mushrooms, you had to search for them. They left out the dressing for the salad. I ate about half of it and had heartburn throughout the night. I called to explain my displeasure with the meal. The girl who took the order was rude and full of excuses. As I shot down her defense of such a horrible meal she informed me that someone would call me about the meal the following day. Before getting my information and while I was talking she hung up the phone. So of course no one ever called. I have eaten at Ricco's for longer than that girl has been alive. I placed an order for pick up and requested a salad and pizza. My husband picked it up and brought home. We both are senior citizens so of course it was a chore just to go get it. Usually when we place an order from them we spend approximately $50 each time. I discovered that they did not give me salad dressing for my salad. I called and asked if they would please have someone deliver it. They told me that they would give me credit for SALAD DRESSING. I asked them how I was supposed to eat my salad. I was told that I live outside of their delivery range. It takes us 15 minutes to drive there. It is 5::30pm and dark outside and not safe for us. If you are looking for loyalty from Ricco's DON'T!!! We have ordered from Riccos for years and you can always count on consistency which is an awesome thing to know. The place is small but, clean and we have only ever ordered take out as it is on way home from work. The prices are very reasonable and the cashier/hostess/waitress is always friendly even when you can plainly see she is busy as a one arm paper hanger. Since management changed I ventured from my regular two favorites and ordered the gyro which was really good so as I stated consistency for me is definitely a plus. read more
