Called for service and was told it was hoing to be an est. 45. minute wait. At 45 mins, I called to check on status and was told they only had 1 driver and couldn't provide a new ETA... when i asked if itd be another 20 minutes, she didn't know. I wanted to be realistic and asked if I should cancel and she didn't really say much. I didn't realize Longview had Lyft. I canceled the ride with Uptown and got a Lyft that arrived in 15 minutes. Lots of wasted time, especially after I shared with Uptown that it was an urgent request to go to the hospital. I was looking for a realistic time, not to be strung along. It felt like going into a nail salon and they say it's a 15 min wait-15 minutes later, your'e told another 5 minutes 3 more times so you won't leave....knowing its prob another 30 minutes. Unreasonable expectations set from the first contact. Waited 2.5 hours after being told 1 hour wait time. Called multiple times and was fed nonsense from the "dispatcher". Do not ever count on this business to get you anywhere in a reasonable amount of time. If I could give negative stars, I would. This is a taxi company... what else are patrons calling for other than reasonable lead times for a car ride? This business is unreliable, dishonest, and seemingly drunk off their a$$es. I work in Portland I had to wait 30 min to and hour juat for a ride . Schedule one the night before for the same trip and they just forgot about it making me late for work. They're always late. More than once I've tried to schedule a ride for several hours in the future only to be told they were already booked solid. They seem to only ever have one or two drivers on at a time, and it's never enough. read more

Called tonight and the guy was so busy having a conversation he didn't even answer the phone with the business name, I had to ask. Told him I needed a ride and he told me it would be 20-30 minutes. An hour passes by and I call to see the eta....he tells me that he had literally had 10 drunk people in his car and he got rid of all but one. And that he would be a couple minutes away, then hung up on me. Called back 20 minutes later and straight hangs up on me again. Are you serious? Is this really how you run a company!? If you could not take the ride that's all you had to say... poor customer service and would not recommend this company at all! Just be straightforward. read more

I have been using Uptown Taxi for awhile now to help get my mother to early morning dialysis treatments and they have been amazing. If this went to 100 stars they'd get 100 plus!! They have gone above and beyond helping as we struggle to figure out if we are dealing with the onset of dementia or alzheimer's. I could not do this without them. I am so thankful for their help. I won't get into all the issues we are going thru but Uptown has understood and and helped. read more

Called ahead to ask if drivers wore masks, was told yes, driver showed up in car that didn't have seatbelts in the back, the driver had to be asked multiple times to put on their mask (which they did with a sarcastic "sureeee" and huge sigh). Before being dropped off, I let the person in charge of the phone lines know that I would need a ride an hour from then, which he said he'd arrange. I checked in before the hour was up to let them know I'd need a ride back, was told yes, and was left waiting for literally over an hour after calling twice more. I had to get my Airbnb host to pick me up because I was waiting so long that nightfall came and random people started to approach me in the Goodwill Parking lot. Lyft/Uber was unable to find me a ride this whole time, so I used this service. I called a final time to see if they were coming, the operator got the address wrong and started saying stuff that scared me and had me concerned about his mental health ("it's been a long day of a long week, I promise I have everything under control, I won't lose it, I promise, we are getting so many calls") and after hearing how unhinged he was, that was the final straw. If you're immunocompromised, you're not safe with these people. I also don't believe I'm safe in a vehicle with their employees after what the operator said over the phone. 0/5 read more

What complete waste of time. You call hiring the drivers from a debunk cab company "uprgraded". And your receptionists should at least know the difference between "to" and "from". Not to mention the drivers have no idea where they are going even while using a GPS. Two thumbs waaaay down. read more

Estimated waiting time 30mins. I called at 40mins to check the status. Mind you i have 2 arm full of shopping bags and it is 32 degrees outside. The person said another 15mins. I then told them i was freezing outside and said i have been waiting outside. They told me they would call me. They also rudly said they cant just kick costumers out of the car,15 mins later, no call. Pulled up uber app and driver was there in 2 minutes!!! Never again! read more

The worst experience I have ever had. Driver was 11 minutes late. Not a big deal though. This is where the story gets good. Driver came into a private party to mingle while I called them back. They picked up and I could not hear them so I thought it was a prank call. Kept trying to call them back and they did not respond to me when I said hello repeatedly, maybe it was due to the private party noise they came into. Got a text message from them with an expletive stating they were outside. We waited for 10 minutes and the driver was no where to be found. He pulled out of a parking space erratically and finally came up to the door. He was also parked all the way at the opposite end of the the parking lot no where near the entrance. I'm pretty sure he was ignoring me when he picked up my calls. Also have a picture of them photo bombing people in a photo booth at a private event, and a charming exchange on voicemail. Was told by an individual at the party that the driver gave them the creeps. Needless to say we did not get in this cab. Diver called me a gay slur when he was pulling off. I had some choice words for him as well and have it all recorded on my phones voice mail from when he called me back. Maybe he was high on something? Do not use this company. Their driver was incredibly unprofessional tonight. This was the most bizarre experience I have ever had with a cab company. I will remeber to never use uptown anytime I need a cab. Their drivers are rude, unprofessional, and unkempt. I will always be sure to use Super Delivery Bros. They are always on time and professional. Look them up on Facebook they rock!!!! read more

I was using this companys business for a while and even enjoyed it and was friendly and knew some of the drivers outside of the business but some of the drivers are rude or try to scam more money out of you. I had called one day to get a ride to work and even called an hour ahead the dispatcher said it would be inly 30 minutes wait....well 2 hours later and a phone call to work saying id be late. Thier communication is lacking. We have rode with them for a while and given alot of business. As well as our daughter and had no problems except for rude drivers. On a sunday when there were no bus service i had called them to me up from work at 10pm they refused to give me a ride until i payed a $100.00 clean up fee because our 3 year old daughter had gotten sick in the car on the way to get ice cream the day before she never gets sick in the car and children cant help it its unpredictible we were more worried anout getting her cleaned up amd getting the vomit off her and changing her clothes and then tried to help clean up the mess. That next day the same driver refused to give me a ride home from work unless i pay 100.00 so i was stranded wondering how to get home to my family. After speaking to another cab driver they told me that they cant do this because she was only a child and not an adult thats intoxicated. Long story short this company will find every way to get more money out of you or have bad communication skills not very professional. They will also overcharge you for credit and debit transactions. Know your rights and pay attention. Its no wonder one of their best drivers don had quit. read more

Did not deliver services as promised. I called days in advance to schedule a ride to pick up my wife and I from our wedding to take us to our reception. Dispatch took my information. I get a call the next day saying that we were getting picked up at 5:45 A.M. on Friday, when we were supposed to be picked up at 5:45 P.M. on Saturday. The driver I spoke to told me that the woman working dispatch was anxious to go on a date with her husband and rushed my information down. I had also requested to be picked up in the nicest car available as it was for a wedding. It was very embarrassing to my new bride and I to be picked up in a minivan when we were told we were getting picked up in a crown vic. Dispatch failed to tell us that the meter started before the driver even got to us because of our location, and the fare was already $40 when we got picked up. Our final fare ended up being more than twice what I was initially quoted over the phone. When I tried calling the company the next day, a driver answered. Music was playing in the background and the driver left it on for the duration of the conversation. The driver failed to give me useful information or even issue an apology, saying that he was off the clock, but forgot to turn off his work phone. He gave me the number of the owner, who did not answer the phone and has yet to return my call. read more
