Although the drive through the Fort McHenry tunnel and then further across town for me is a distance, their prices can't be beat and rival any liquor store on the western side of Baltimore City or County for that matter, so it is a trip that is always well worth it. Because we decided to go the weekend of Labor Day, the lines inside the small, but well stocked store were snaking towards the back entrance. That has never been a deterrence for me or the countless other customers who continued to enter after l had gotten my items and headed to the back of the line. They have a pretty good selection of wine and beer and of course almost any brand of liqour you could name. I was excited to see that they had restock my fav mascato, Crane Lake, a mere $3.99. They also have monthly specials on items, are a lottery retailer and a check cashing outlet. They also host tastings, with the highlighted product being Hypnotique during my visit. They will kindly assist you with bringing your items out to your vehicle. All in all l have never come here and not purchased anything because the prices are too good to pass up. I will continue to come here on Pulaski Hwy until l discover another establishment that rivals them in pricing and is closer.

So I searched "wine" on Google and discovered this little shop--it was the closest one, and I loved that it was dedicated entirely to wine. When I arrived, the person working there (possibly the owner) was super helpful. I told him I was planning to have crab cakes for dinner and wanted a wine that would pair well. He wasn't pushy at all--just kind, informative, and easy to talk to. What I appreciated most was the relaxed atmosphere. I felt comfortable taking my time and browsing, and they had a great selection of wines. I ended up choosing a Sauvignon Blanc from France--and honestly, I had never tasted a wine that good before! It was such a pleasant surprise to find a place like this: welcoming and focused on quality. I'll definitely be coming back next time if I'm in the area.
