There is a person who stands at the door and makes sure there is only a certain amount of people inside at any time for COVID reasons. You can shop with a cart, basket or your hands. Although the drive through the Fort McHenry tunnel and then further across town for me is a distance, their prices can't be beat and rival any liquor store on the western side of Baltimore City or County for that matter, so it is a trip that is always well worth it. Because we decided to go the weekend of Labor Day, the lines inside the small, but well stocked store were snaking towards the back entrance. That has never been a deterrence for me or the countless other customers who continued to enter after l had gotten my items and headed to the back of the line. They have a pretty good selection of wine and beer and of course almost any brand of liqour you could name. I was excited to see that they had restock my fav mascato, Crane Lake, a mere $3.99. They also have monthly specials on items, are a lottery retailer and a check cashing outlet. They also host tastings, with the highlighted product being Hypnotique during my visit. They will kindly assist you with bringing your items out to your vehicle. All in all l have never come here and not purchased anything because the prices are too good to pass up. I will continue to come here on Pulaski Hwy until l discover another establishment that rivals them in pricing and is closer.

I stopped in recently because I was in the mood for wine, and I was excited to see they were hosting an in-store rosé tasting. I always enjoy being able to sample a wine before purchasing, especially when it comes with a little information about the wine and the opportunity to discover something new. That kind of experience makes wine shopping feel much more personal and enjoyable. I think this place has so much potential. During my visit, not all of the featured rosés were available to taste, and the sample pours were just a couple drops. If the sample pour were similar to what I've experienced in other wine shops, I believe it could've provided a fuller experience to select a wine. I also would have loved to hear a bit more about each wine while tasting. Overall, I still think this is a convenient wine shop, and with a slightly more engaging tasting experience and customer service, I easily could have walked out with multiple bottles.
