I also like See's Candies, Old Navy, Box Lunch, and sometimes dining at Kizuki Ramen which is conveniently in the mall itself. I think the selection of shops are pretty good. The parking lots at times can get hectic, but it usually doesn't take overly long to get one. It can also get pretty hot inside the mall, as if the air isn't circulating well. Combining that with all the crowds doesn't help.

The food was not at the quality I expected when purchasing a meal from Wendy's. I paid for fresh, hot meals, but unfortunately, I was unable to enjoy either of them because everything was cold. I was lucky enough to have Teanna work with me. She's also worked with my wife and she is superb. She knows her stuff and you can absolutely trust her suggestions and advice. She's a reason why we only buy our prescription eyeglasses at Costco. She helped me pick out two sets of frames and even did a 'tune-up' on the pair of glasses I'm wearing until the new ones arrive. Teanna reminded me that we can always bring our glasses in for tune-ups like replacing worn nose pads and readjusting the frames fit on the ears and nose. This is the type of added value Costco provides for all prescription eyeglass purchases.

Being it's a part of TJX companies, here you will find many great deals as their other stores TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Sierra Trading Post. HomeGoods specializes in... Well, home goods. You can find a lot of variety of decorations, home accents to dishware, bath, and bedding accessories! A lot of people don't seem to grasp that concept of what is actually sold here, there's no major appliances, no beds, and no cribs. It's house accessories such as rugs, chairs, comforter sets. The great thing about this store is that every thing is unique, it's open stock. Some things you will see during the season others stuff you'll never see again which is a bummer if you pass on buying it!! Truth be told this a wonderful place if you are looking to save money as many of their items (sometimes top brands) are priced way lower than department stores but you also have to remember this isn't a bargain store. Just like Marshall's and TJ Maxx, this store is a part of a family of stores that are able to price items low because the items is either discontinued, slightly flawed, or even overstock that's bought out so expect to get some things that aren't perfect. Not saying they don't have the best of quality but this isn't Nordstrom. So just a bit of FYI when you are coming here. I've enjoyed shopping at the Federal Way store, so coming to this one is a breeze being there's barely traffic if you are coming from across the bridge. I had to purchase a pair of dress shoes, and I specifically asked the salesperson when I told her that they were a little tight, but was assured that they would loosen up upon wear and if they didn't, that I could return them. I thought, "that's why I love Nordstrom's." Fast forward two hours, and I had a huge blister on the inside of my big toe. I had to remove the shoes and switch into tennis shoes, which did not match my suit at all. But, I knew I could return the shoes, so I was OK with that. I took the shoes back and was told by a sales clerk and by the manager, "Finn," that I could not return the shoes because they had been worn outside. I explained to her that I specifically asked that when I purchased them earlier and was assured that I could. She said that didn't matter because there were scuffs on the sole of the shoe. I said I would take store credit and she said "aren't you listening, I said we could not take them back." I would avoid this Nordstrom's rack, find another or better yet, just skip them altogether - they are not what they used to be, they do not stand behind their products, and they do not stand behind their word.

I was recommended for it by an acquaintance and I was in the mood to do some incense stick shopping a few weekends ago so I finally paid my first visit there. What a cute place! I love it! There is all kinds of spiritual or metaphysical items and some things that are there just for the sheer fun of it. They did not disappoint in having a good variety of incense and Steve bought an absolutely beautiful reflective Crescent Moon incense holder. It's so beautiful I am almost afraid to use it. They have a great tea and book section and all kinds of candles. But the thing that was a real extra bonus was their chocolate section. They have a small counter in which you can pick chocolates from out of the case. We each bought an espresso chocolate and a coconut chocolate and they were so good! I don't know the back story with the chocolates but it wouldn't surprise me if the owner made them themselves. The chocolates are certainly local for sure and not associated with any large candy company. A really fun and rewarding stop! I will have to make more deliberate points to go here. If nothing else a quick stop for more of those chocolates!
