Genuinely pretty damn good for its price. And get a full meal for $10 which is fairly uncommon nowadays. The server Willie is MY GOAT. Genuinely the coolest server I've ever had.

Tacoma Mall is conveniently located 20 minutes from my house, so I usually stop there to have my cell phone screen protector replaced at the booth in the center of the mall. I also check out Nordstrom's, look for deals on shoes and clothes, and visit the Vans store. Over the years, there have been many changes, especially in the food court. Some vendors remain, but there's been a lot of switching and movement, like Starbucks and others. There have been many new vendors coming and going over the years. However, the mall seems to be a bit safer than before. In recent years, security at spots like Dick's Sporting Goods has been visible, which I assume attracts the most theft in the mall. The mall is centrally located, with a Krispy Kreme doughnut shop, a new Dave's Hot Chicken restaurant, Buffalo Wild Wings, and a Nordstrom Rack nearby. Overall, I enjoy shopping here, but I especially value the social aspect.

This is a very clean indoor shopping mall with major anchors such as Nordstroms, Macy's, and JC Penney's. Security has a presence inside and outside the facility. I was impressed with the cleanilness of the hallways and public bathrooms. The food court is decent and there are major restaurants connected to the mall and on the outskirts if you want a formal experience that just fast food.

I like this area. A good amount of shops and food court stalls. Love the share tea, Abercrombie, and forever 21!

JC Penney. Didn't know they were still open.

So this is a tale of two malls. This one is the first and third visit. I came here and it was interesting. It was not so big, which I found out on my second visit. There is a main store with stores around it. The other one had the seats spaced at regular intervals throughout the store. The second visit was to Westgate Mall and it really put this mall to shame. This reminds me of a dying mall - empty storefronts, a lot of kiosks in the center of the hall, and very few people in attendance, even though it was Spring Break. It's not a bad mall at all, but it reminded me of the mall by me, which finally closed with a bunch of unattended kiosks and random shops. It was sad, but that is what I thought of the moment that I saw them. The security kiosk was unattended, there were stores where things were out for display, so to speak, but no one was watching or minding the store. It's a better mall than my local one was, but going to Westgate, I saw a proper mall in action. It's fine if you want to go to a store that's open and they may have a decent food area (the court was horrible), but the restaurants were fine. I'd come here if in the area, but I doubt that would happen. But if I had to come here again, it wouldn't bother me.

This place is not that bad. Best to go early in the daytime when there is light. Nighttime.... Forget it!

Shopping and dining in Seattle, Washington…read more.. My high school classmate suggested that we meet at Southcenter for dinner. I asked him, "Do you think that my niece will know that place?" He said "yes" and asked her to pick a place. My niece provided a list of restaurants: Mr. Dimsum Marugame Udon Cheesecake Factory Sushi Hanami Kizuki Ramen and Izakaya We met for ramen... even though there's an Olive Garden at this mall... LOL! Parking was free, easy, and plentiful! Inside, Southcenter was beautiful, modern, gigantic, clean, air-conditioned, and well-lit. We'll have to return when we have more time! I saw some cute stores (like Pop Mart, Daiso, BoxLunch, and Build-a-Bear) as we walked to the restaurant!

I asked a security guard where it was, she directed me to Lens Cracters...I ASKED for directions to warby parkers! I went into Lens Crafters and asked where Parkers was...this yahoo said to go out, take a right, another right and 1 more right. That basically put me back where I initially started but more pissed off than before. When I finally found it I was completely blown by their response to Molina or having Medicare. Apparently, after giving my personal information, I'm ineligible to receive services without having to pay full price and hope for reimbursement...Yeah, I'm Spent!!

I can't think of a better place to go with a group of people. I love having choices! My friends and I went for a walk at Titlow and decided to come to FHS for lunch. Parking used to be much harder before the parking garage was built for Sound Transit. Plenty of parking across the street now. There's Vietnamese, Mexican, Greek, Fish and Chips, Burgers, Indian, and others I can't remember. The Mexican was pretty typical but the Indian food was delicious! 5 stars for them. Next time, Greek for me. Please, owner/manager of Freighthouse, please create a marketing plan. Get the word out. There was hardly anyone there at noon on a beautiful Saturday. This could truly be Tacoma's Pike Place Market if you slapped a coat of paint on it and power washed a bunch of stuff. I don't want FHS to close and turn into expensive apartments/condos. We don't need that, we need FHS.

On top of that, the layout isn't at all confusing but because everything looks so similar it's surprisingly easy to get turned around and lose your sense of direction. Many of the stores were uncomfortably warm, which made it hard to spend much time inside without wanting to leave. The crowds only make things worse, people seem completely unaware of their surroundings and stand directly behind you, constantly cutting you off or walking straight into you without a second thought. For a place that's supposed to be a premium shopping destination, the overall experience felt chaotic, uncomfortable, and yet boring. In every store, employees kept asking if we needed help, even after we repeatedly said no. Prices were consistently high for no apparent reason, and it was all frustrating enough that we ended up not buying anything at all. One nice thing I can say is that it is very tidy.

I ordered the (black bean) vegan burger and a side of coleslaw. The patty on the burger was barely room temperature and immediately fell apart when I took a bite. The condiments were sparse and underwhelming. After two bites I tossed it. The coleslaw tasted like shredded cabbage with plain mayo; the sweet and tart flavors normally associated with proper coleslaw dressing were nonexistent. I am puzzled how any gourmet burger restaurant could botch a burger (and coleslaw) so badly. Based on this disastrous experience I will never eat at another Blazing Onion restaurant.

Since it was such a popular movie, I decided to buy tickets online and pay the two dollar and 50 Cent convenience fee. I figured that only a certain number of seats in the stadium-style were available to be reserved, and if we didn't like those seats we would just sit somewhere and reserved. Our tickets for this particular theater cost three dollars more than they would have for the theater in our town, which doesn't even have stadium seating. It was well worth the few extra dollars and will be hard to go back to regular seating, stadium or otherwise!! I ordered tickets for later in the week for my daughter and son-in-law to go out for a date night while I watched my grandson. They were equally impressed and really enjoyed it. I like the Uptown Gig Harbor theater in general and this particular Theater is amazing! The cost was $14.75 to see Star Wars in 3-D. All of the previews were also in 3-D.
