Had an appointment at 2 pm on a Saturday for a pedicure. My pedicure didn't start until 2:40 and lasted 20 minutes. The salon is very clean and relaxing but it seems they are severely understaffed as there were only three people working on the weekend. Everyone was really nice. I had the best manicure of my life at this place and am sad that it's too far for me to be a regular. I came to Upstate while in town for my niece's softball tournament. While she was bowling less than a mile away, I went to fix an old mani before my nails paid the price. I arrived about 30 minutes-45 minutes before closing after looking up and calling other places. They were cleaning up when I arrived. Two other clients were still there. I asked if I was too late and they welcomed me right in and pointed me to the colors. After I picked out my color, my sweet manicurist, Henry, was waiting for me. Henry is an older gentleman. He is extremely patient and detail-oriented, just as a manicurist should be. When I requested that he forego the drill to remove my gel polish. He obliged even though he knew it would be a bit more work for him. My nails don't seem to fancy drills. They tend to be okay initially but after repeated use they become very thin and brittle. He understood this and humored me, using only a scraping and buffing method to remove the polish. Then he began to shape my nails the way they were already shaped. Genuinely wanting an oval shape, I asked Henry. He shaped them into perfect ovals, that I fell in love with. Not too pointy and not too square. He also did a phenomenal job on my cuticles which tend to be hideous. He cleaned them up perfectly. Just the amount needed. No more, no less. The polish application was perfect. No tricks or gimmicks (like painting 3 fingers and curing) just patience. When he was finished I was pleasantly surprised. It was the most beautiful manicure I've ever had hands down. The shop itself is clean, beautifully decorated and seemed to be family run. I loved the fixtures and details, definitely spa quality. This was certainly a lucky pick after local suggestion and Yelp research led me elsewhere. I'm glad that I followed my gut and came here. If I'm ever back in Spartanburg, I will most certainly be visiting Henry. I wish that I could visit him regularly. If you are in Spartanburg, this should be your go-to place for great service, prices and a relaxing spa environment. read more

I've been here twice now and only got my nails done once. My first time, they didn't say a word to me and had me sit for almost an hour before asking me what I was there for. Today I went again because the nails came out pretty good the first time - and as soon as I walked in, one of the ladies HUFFED and rolled her eyes. She then took 10min to walk over to inform me they had an appointment coming in at 11 and I would have to come back (although there are 3 people working there). Seems everyone knows they are rude. This was my first time at this salon. I always get coffin shaped acrylic set with regular polish. Where I usually go, this is $43 & they always tell me the breakdown of cost without me even asking. $30 for set, $8 for coffin shape, $5 for polish or $15 for gel polish. Here she just tells me it's $55. I usually don't ask questions because I'm just not the type to but I was curious the breakdown of the cost like what was making it $55. Their menu says $30 for acrylic and $15 for gel polish same as other place, but I like regular polish so I asked what made it go to $55. She said it's because it's coffin shape and she has to shape explaining how she shapes but I already knew this. So I said so all that extra cost just for the shape? What is the breakdown? She said again all this about coffin shape. I said that's crazy. And she got instantly pissed and said I don't have to get my nails done here and I don't have to stay, this isn't crazy. I told her I just thought it's crazy I can't get a breakdown of the cost. And I asked was this including gel polish or regular polish because I don't want gel. She said no gel polish will be extra and I will not talk about it anymore I am done talking about it. So basically a customer is not allowed to inquire about add on costs here. $30 for acrylic and $25 for shaping is what I got out of the communication. Extremely rude attitude!!! And her way of shaping she didn't cut the sides to aid in shaping, she used file the entire time. My nails came out fine, 2 are not really coffin but it is whatever. I know I won't go back there. Employees here seem to have the attitude that a client's business isn't important and they are better than the client. My mother, who is 80 + yrs old and can't get around quickly nowadays, kept getting asked to go to the back and wash her hands. She replied "yes" the first time she was asked, since this is not her first rodeo, but apparently wasn't sprinting to the back like the nail lady wanted, so she kept repeating her question to mom. Mom kept asking her how long it would approx. take since i had to come pick her up, but I guess customers have to wash their hands in the back first before they are allowed to ask questions. Then apparently she just didn't want to talk anymore and just turned around and promptly walked to the back of the store to clean a chair, leaving my disabled mom just standing in the front on her two crutches. After a minute, she walked back to the front to ask me, "What is wrong with her?". How freaking rude is that? This is the worse nail salon I have ever de zdx lt with. They have no clue about taking people in order and today I even asked do you want me to come back at a specific time and was told 45 mins. So, I left the business for the 45 mins and came back and yep, 1 her later.....still sitting here cuz they just keep.taking people. Putting a finger up.at me to wait 30 mins ago. If I didnt desperately need my nails done today for a business trip.out of state early Monday, I would just leave. Very clean, comfortable and relaxing. Had a mani and pedi, loved that he paid attention to details. He took care of the little things before I could ask. High quality, and reasonably priced. I got short normal nails (no Dimonds or nothing) & it was the same price as my crazy long nails(with dimonds & all) I usually get at another place ‍ then she charged me $30 to take the gel off my toes and nails.. Not impressed. I ended up doing the dip powder on my nails. I was left with noticeable smudges on 4 of my finger nails at the end. She didn't push back my cuticles. Wasn't really the full manicure service that other places provide. $40 for a mediocre dip powder only. read more

I would not recommend coming here. I went and paid to relax and the man that did my nails was so rude it was impossible to relax... I know people have bad days but it is your job to make it a luxury for your client. The level of customer service here could use improvement. the prices aren't posted so they basically seem to charge what they please. I came in for a fix and a nail color change and feel that I was charged entirely too much for the look I received and the fact that you messed up the shape of nails I didn't even ask you to fix. The fixed nails are longer and no where near the same as what I had but yet you charge me for reshaping?? Never known that to happen. If I get a fix you fix it how it was shape included don't change extra to fix it!! Over 25$ for a fix and color change is over priced. Not impressed at all. Although this is a nicely decorated shop I'm overly disappointed. For me to be the only person in here on a Thursday at 5pm should have told me better. But oh well I've learned my lesson!! read more

THIS PLACE IS THE WORST! I got a gel manicure and with in a hour a nail chipped. I went back and got it fixed. Later that evening another nail chipped. I went back the next morning to get that nail fixed and they "set" the nails again. Later that day another nail chipped. Was looking at polish with me the woman looked over and said "do not let her break my polish". First of all she wasn't running wild and second off she was being watched! The guys are cool. The lady thats always in the front to the left, DO NOT let her do any of your services. She half ass everything.
