I didn't have the original packaging, so they wrapped it in 3 layers of bubble wrap, built a box around that and wrapped THAT in several more layers of bubble wrap liberally securing it with about three rolls of packing tape per layer, (Another slight exaggeration). It did take me about 15 minutes to get it unpacked and it was in perfect condition. this was a legacy from my sister who passed away so it was a lot more important to me than just a sound system and I was very grateful they did such a great job. Called Taplin, they were able to pick it up the next day. Eric called after checking it out and the said the motor was blown. Of course was 2 months out of warranty, he said would call Ariens and see what he could do. Because of Eric's perseverance they replaced the motor, at no charge to us.
