I actually don't know the location of the numerous ups numbers that I spoke with someone that was absolutely useless and the last one was absolutely horrible and unprofessional..I paid 105 dollars for a very special friend and wanted to surprise her.. went to the local store in Milford Connecticut and they are wonderful... but after paying for the next day air..the PKG was not delivered until Wed at 6:45 on Dec 20 when I paid 105 on Mon for next day air..I'm on disability and it was a expensive thing to do but I wanted to make sure my friend knew how much she meant and it needed to get there next day because of a personal joke between us...well after finding out how long it took to get there i was not only disappointed because it ruined the whole situation and the fact that I was charged for a service that wasn't provided..every single number I called just sent me to another number.. and then I received a email from the store I shipped it from because they actually have to send a claim to the big boy ups.. well they informed me that they were not responsible and they would not be giving me any kind of reimbursement because it was late due to inclement weather... WELL.. idiots put the entire tracking process right under where I was basically told to f..k off because of " inclement weather" well the pkg was delivered to ft Myers which is a hour away from the destination and the weather was 60 degrees and sunny!!! They are horrible business that screws the little people that pay for service that they don't provide.. and then to LIE!!! Last person I spoke to was a total b...h and even after I told her that I was 100 percent correct about them refunding me.. because I was promised a service and then lied to what actually happened... she said " I've been working here for 13 years and I'm just going to tell you that we don't care about the fact that there was no inclement weather..you are NEVER getting anything back from us! And I said I would be contacting the Americans with disabilities act and she said she didn't care and hung up on me!! This is the second time UPS came to my door with a delivery needing a signature. Again, the driver knocked, I was ar my door in 10 seconds but he had already walked away and left a note on the door. I went after him shouting for him to stop and "I'm here," but he ignored me and kept walking. I couldn't catch up. He got in the truck and drove away. For a delivery service this is unacceptable and has caused me trouble. I don't appreciate this substandard treatment and recurrent nondelivery despite my answering the door promptly. read more

My package was delayed and I decided to ask the North Haven center to hold it for pickup since my package was already there. Though they did charge me to hold it (which is weird since it was already there) the request went in very quickly. I came to pick up my package the woman in the office was very nice it was a quick exchange and I was on my way. No issues at all. I would recommend the office holding your package if you are experiencing a delay or want to be sure you'll get your package. read more

I missed a "signature required" delivery at my residence and contacted UPS about changing the delivery address to my workplace. The only choice they gave me was a package pickup at the UPS Customer Counter at the terminal in North Haven, CT. Since their hours were posted as 9:00 - 4:15 and 5:30 - 8:00 I figured that was fine. I went to the location at 6:00 and it was closed! I called UPS (what a nightmare) and they said someone should be there and return to the location. I did, and it was still closed! I called UPS again, and after endless voice menu prompts, I finally got to talk to a phone rep who had no explanation. They suggested that I go during the day, but I work and can't (which is why I sent it there in the first place). So there it sits in limbo. To make matters worse, there was a service fee to send it to this facility and they triple billed my credit card! Could they screw up any more??? UPS has the worst website for support (contentiously crashes) and the automated voice prompt phone system is simply maddening. Unacceptable! read more

Never in my life have I had such a horrible experience with a delivery. I was waiting for a bank card which I found out was delivered to the wrong address. I wish I could give less, one star is far more than deserved. Workers, on a smoking break next to the main entrance of the center, literally ogling and pointing at my partner as she walked to and from our car in the parking lot. When they realized I was watching, the three of them got a bit aggressive and began whispering to each other and pointing at me... I was led to believe if I went outside there might be some sort of confrontation. When I asked for the workers names so I could write a formal complaint the woman in charge (Laura) refused to tell me there names... She also refused to let me take my package, even though the agent I was on the phone with at the time assured me my credentials were sufficient for me to be allowed to pick up the package. The agent heard both of the workers at the center yelling at me and said there was no reason for them to be so disrespectful as I mentioned many times I was not upset with them personally, just that I had been misinformed and the agent on the phone at the time was assuring me I should be able to leave with my package without any issues, being that my address on my license matched the address on my package. When I asked to speak to a supervisor I was told (by Stephanie & Laura) that the managers would not come speak to me about this and that they had left for the evening because they deserve to be with their families. ..? I've since made complaints to the corporate and district offices and will avoid this center at all costs. During the time I was at the center I watched them treat many others with the same disregard and misinformation that they offered myself. Any tips on more civilized parcel service would be greatly appreciated as I receive deliveries quite often. read more

This is hands-down the worst delivery service on the planet. The only reason they continue to be used is because we as consumers have ZERO choice in selecting shipping providers and they must offer some deep discounts to businesses to continue using them. The North Haven CT location and drivers, though, must be some of the worst around. We've had issues with them for years, including failure to deliver items that were set to be received via overnight that my husband needed for work - that was fun. We literally stood on the front porch and watched the delivery driver who supposedly had that package go merrily down the street with a brief touch of the brakes at our home. He updated the delivery status with "no one home." Oh, okay. After a furious phone call, we then had to wait until after 6 PM to go to the UPS Customer Center to go pick it up ourselves. Packages have come to us damaged beyond belief. We had several deliveries of baby items throughout the last few months, and had to change out more than one item - including a bassinet - because the box was smashed up and looked run over and there was no way of knowing if the bassinet was damaged or not. Not really keen on testing it out on my newborn, thanks. UPS was zero help - they made us jump through all the hoops and go through the store to get a new one. They also refused to refund the delivery fees, either, to the person who had sent the gift to us. Super nice. Now, the latest. My husband sent off his mobile phone to the manufacturer for a screen repair. We paid $250 for the repair on a phone worth $600. We had to go pick that package up, too, because they couldn't figure out how to knock on a door for a signature while I was home. If they even bothered to try. But guess what's inside the busted-looking packaging? His phone, with a smashed up screen. LIVID. It would be comical at this point if it hadn't cost so damned much in the first place! Yeah. These guys need to figure out how to actually treat things with respect and stop throwing packages around like they're all full of freakin clouds and rainbows. This UPS-store is terrible.I went in wanting to send a large envelope to Europe. The lady at the counter told me they don't take these as I put down my envelope. I am left wondering whether UPS just doesn't do (international) mail. So I ask if they have a different envelope. She then says I need a slip and points somewhere behind me. I find a computer there, fill in all the info required and it won't print or save. I then tell an employee who directs me to use a different computer. Again, after re-entering all the info it doesn't work. The lady helping me then tells me I need to change the address. Needless to say, I left and went to the FedEx which happens to be right next door. How convenient. Everything went smoothly there. What a waste of time! read more

So I had an order for several thousands of dollars of electronics coming today. It was supposed to be here four days earlier. I saw it went out on the truck today so I took the day off from work (one of 16 vacation days for the year). It had to be signed for and the truck comes well before 4 on most days. So I was home all day. I had notes on both doors that the UPS man could have come to saying I was home and waiting for the package. He never showed up. However at 6 pm I get a text notification that the driver tried to deliver it just now and I was unavailable. Now keep in mind that our cars are parked in the driveway and all the lights around both doors (both inside and outside) are on. I'm sitting in the living room. My SO is sitting in the kitchen... Additionally we have a spotlight and security camera in the driveway that is linked to a motion detector. It went off twice today. When my SO left for work at 6 am and when she came back at 4 pm. The only real way to get to the house from the road is by the driveway... Guy never came and lied on his report about it. So I call customer service to schedule a same day pick up. Twenty minutes on hold and eventually I've scheduled a same day pick up. However they need to call you for verification. They say that they will call within an hour. An hour later I have gotten no call and I call back. That turns into over an hour on hold with a customer service rep powerless to help me, waiting for a supervisor. The supervisor eventually gets on the phone and tells me he is going to call the North Haven facility and tells me that they have tried to call me 3 times from the delivery center (no they didn't as there are zero missed calls on my cell) and that they have closed for the night. I can't take my business elsewhere as you're not given a carrier choice at most places online. They know this and thus the supervisor's attitude of "tough luck, deal with it." So the local driver and facility in North Haven both lied through their teeth and the supervisor (located who knows where) was a dick. And yet no consequences. I ask them for an update on a package, and yes it was my second time calling today but it was an important package, and I hear her say to her coworker "unbelievable" such that I couldn't hear her, but I heard it and I call her out on it. This store is RIDICULOUS!!! I stood in the store waiting, while a woman was on the phone with T-Mobile. She ordered a phone and the store workers refused to give her the package because the address on the ID was different, even though the name was the same as on the ID. The store worker and the manager walked to the back of the store and refused to come to the front. Because of this issue, I have to now call the UPS customer service number and see if they can have my package returned to shipper, since the workers didn't come back out to assist. Recently, my AMEX credit card was hacked and used for a British purchase. The card was frozen and a new one was issued to me, and unfortunately, shipped to me via UPS. Less than one month after stopping by the North Haven UPS terminal to complain about a package being "delivered" to my garage instead of front door, one of their moron drivers delivered my AMEX card package to my garage door - AGAIN! I did not know about the package being in front of the house, and visible from the street. A neighbor picked it up and brought it to my front door. He was concerned that it might be stolen. Delivery by UPS to my house is pathetic. The lazy drivers cannot take packages to my front door. I am a senior citizen recovering from open heart surgery, and have to put up with this. read more

UPS Driver lied and management swears to it. I tracked package, waiting till after 7:00 PM. Delivery status update claims driver attempted delivery, "adult signature is required" Total BS. I was home and waited all day/evening for package to be delivered, they never showed. They met their quota for the day. Called customer service, they claimed it was set up for wrong address Road vs Lane. Another lie. Package finally arrived, address was correct. Driver just plain and simple did not want to deliver the package. Management called this AM, but call back number is non-working number. I have never had a problem before with getting my heart medication until this week!!! We must have a new UPS driver who has decided to stretch the truth. Said he tried to deliver my meds but he clearly did not as we sit by a glass door and hear any vehicle coming up our steep driveway...especially a UPS truck. To make a long story short, he claimed to have left a slip....no slip. So, we believe he delivered to another address which is very similar to ours. In addition, I was told this morning that they tried to call me yesterday but the phone number was "incorrect". I asked for the number that they had called and, GUESS WHAT? It was a correct number and they never called. Series of lies, I suspect, to cover their mistake. Unfortunately, the promised redelivery of last night also did not arrive. I'm becoming seriously nervous as, without these meds, my life may be in jeopardy and I will be quickly hospitalized. In calling the 800 number there was not one apology. None. They told me "not to worry". That's ironic. I told them they are not delivering a toaster...I pay to have these meds delivered to my door. Last month the meds were delivered at the bottom of my driveway...which is not visible from the house. These meds cost over $3000 a month....they could have been stolen. If I wanted a regular delivery I would pay for that. I pay for a signature delivery...i.e., to my front door. So, the saga continues and, once again, I'm promised that the package will be delivered today....heard that twice yesterday. We'll see. I received a package I ordered from Macy's today. We usually get packages. from UPS delivery. However, since our home is not on the street , the UPS deliveryman brings it up yo our home. This package was very big. I went down to get our mail on the street and saw this huge box on the ground near our neighbor's mailbox. I looked at the label and saw it was from Macy's and addressed to us. We just had torrential rain.It wasn't even in a plastic bag! If I didn't go to get our mail,this package, worth $200. would have been taken by anyone! When I called to track the package, UPS recording said it was delivered today to Northboro Massachusetts onto the front porch!!!!!!!!!! what???? Not only is your tech system wrong, but your driver couldn't even bring the Package up to our home...... I am still upset about this!!! Yet another negative review for UPS in North Haven. This UPS branch is terrible. I order a lot of things online and I have yet to receive a package as scheduled from UPS (don't seem to have this issue with USPS or FedEx). Not only that, customer service is rude and unhelpful and dishonest. One time I was tracking a package I had ordered from Amazon and the UPS website said it had been delivered -- I was home all day and this was not the case. Thankfully, Amazon refunded me for my purchase, even though UPS was the one who screwed it up. Mysteriously, two days later, my package arrives at my front door (and Amazon had not resent it because I had asked for a refund instead). Guess UPS lied about delivering it in the first place. More recently, I had ordered another product that was very time-sensitive and therefore paid an extra $25 to the merchant for two day rush shipping to arrive on a Friday. I anxiously tracked the package all day via the UPS website. I was reassured that the status of my package was "out for delivery." However, by 9:30 pm on that day, my package still had not arrived, and UPS finally updated their website to say delivery had been rescheduled for Monday. Fantastic, since I needed the product over the weekend...thanks, UPS. In short: wholly unreliable. Take your packages elsewhere. And hope that if you make purchases online, they use FedEx or the post office... read more

No Haven facility has a bunch of liars working their .I was told my packages were delivered a week ago but no Info notice was left nor was I ever buzzed by ups driver that he was here and had my packaged, thou he lied and said on his tracker that he attempted delivery and no one was available. Well I am handicapped and don't leave my apt so he lied, I was here, Then I called to have the package re delivered and was told the order had to be redone cause they don't know where the packages were. They were lost by UPS. A new order was put through and shipped, again,did not receive it the delivery dates kept changing, 3 attempts were made according to UPS but then I was told the packages were put on the wrong truck, and would be retrieved and delivered that night. Well, I waited no packages no phone call nothing! I lost a week of work because of the incompetence,I needed to print my contracts but didn't have the printer ink I order to do that .I was also told that the delivery was going to an access point and I could pick it up there, but since I am handicapped and can't drive that was not an option .It is now a week later and I still don't have the packages. I am filing a discrimination complaint against UPS due to the fact I told them I was handicapped and could not drive to the access point, they just didn't care. read more

I have never delt with such incompetent people in my life. The drivers stand at the door after ringing the bell for about 10 seconds and then leave. When I was told my packages did not make it on the truck I took the 45 min drive to pick them up only to find they were on another truck (the driver said he checked and they were at the hub). My packages keep getting delivered to the "back porch". The only thing is that porch is also the wrong house. The front of that house is on a different street , which is across the street from me. So instead of using a little intel these guy's just deliver to wherever they think it should go. I will contact my supplier and try to get another delivery system in place. I usually don't have issues with my deliveries but yesterday was a big disappointment. I am currently doing renovations on my house and there is a dumpster in my driveway. There is still plenty of room in the driveway for parking and walking but the driver yesterday thought it was ok to leave my package from Lowes in the grass near the dumpster rather than on the large covered porch. Liars! I was waiting for a package which was out for delivery and it said would be delivered Monday between 5 and 8 pm. It never came and I checked the tracking the next morning to see that the driver marked the address as non existent at 7:52 pm! Strange since I've lived at this address over 20 years and never had this happen before. So I had to go on and verify the address because they said it was incorrect. WRONG- it was 100% correct. I call them and said, I guess your driver got overloaded and decided it was time to go home, so he just marked my package as undeliverable and now I have to go through verifying a correct address. I told her that I wanted it delivered yesterday. After stumbing she assured me that it was out for delivery yesterday... yah well lie #2... never got there. I just checked and it is still sitting there waiting for who knows what! Just tell me the truth, you overloaded your driver, he wanted to get home at a reasonable hour so he lied and then you lied to me telling me it was out for delivery. Do not trust ups to deliver anything coming from this North Haven location. The tracking system reported my package delivered and when I checked there was no package. The first representative admitted that they delivered to the wrong address and transferred my call. The next three representatives denied it and said that the shipper prevented them from doing investigations. I spent my day on the phone with Amazon who told me to contact someone else. Then, after three more calls and emails, ups called back to say the driver was going to retrieve my package at the wrong address and deliver it to me that night. My husband waited all night and they never came. The next day I called again and after two more agents lied about my package being delivered I was told it would be retrieved and delivered by 2. I missed a meeting at work to be home and it was not delivered. I called again, and after several escalations was told that I would have to wait for a call back (after business hours) and that the package had never been retrieved. Drive all the way there waiting in an hour of traffic to drop my package off and they tell me they can't accept it, that they're not taking drop offs that day...... It went out for delivery, but never actually delivered(where were all the drivers about to get 2 snow days off to do a second shift???). Obviously not delivered wed/thurs due to snow. Friday? I AM A THOUSAND PERCENT SURE AND SO IS MY FAMILY TO 8 MEMBERS THE DRIVER STOLE THE CONTENTS OF A $900-1000$ Phone I just had the worst luck with UPS this holiday (12-18-2014) Basically the ups driver brought two packages outside my residence waited in his truck ten minutes while my family saw him in the truck finally walked to my residence put one package down and threw a empty box behind the bushes which was supposed to have a Cellphone in front of my residence and turned around and left. unfortunately the package that was delivered was worth 10-20 dollars and the empty Box he threw behind the bushes had a 900 dollar cell phone in it... i caught on to this with in the next ten minutes... the Tracking number online showed the package as delivered within minutes. Now all this can be blamed on a 3rd person hypothetically speaking someone came by after the things were delivered to my residence and stole the contents out the package in front of my steps while my whole family is right there and then throwing the empty box in the bushes and making off with cell phone? Sure but wouldn't a thief run off with the whole thing first and not worry about placing the empty box behind the bushes for the risk of being caught?.. and now i have to go through the painful process of investigation/police report and this that and the third. Thank you UPS im Sure to recommend your service to everyone in the future...NOT UPDATE : UPS has been pretty helpful trying to figure out who was the culprit and at this point it sounds like it was a seasonal helper they hired for the holidays... read more

Very poor customer service at this location and the cost to ship a very light package seemed very high. After calling ups customer service line they told me that each ups store functions as an independent franchise and can set their own prices. They told me if I had printed out a shipping label through the ups website that the cost would have been at least $10. cheaper-wow, well it would be nice if this was made public knowledge to ups customers. This is an unfortunate business practice and I would recommend that others be aware of this before using ups for shipping. I'm using fedex and/or usps from now on! read more

Unfortunately this UPS center deserves NO stars. My delivery guy was upset because he had to deliver my package past his schedule. My package paid the price for this. Received mangled and half opened carton with missing and damaged items within. Made a report to company from which items were purchased and they are good enough to replace all damaged items at no charge to me. Shame on this driver and his temper tantrum and shame on UPS for not screening applicants better. read more
