Drivers dispatched from this FedEx location is the worst. I was expecting a package to be delivered from this facility and was waiting all morning. No FedEx truck ever drove by my place, yet I got a message in the FedEx app that says "customer not available or business closed". Liar! I mean, if the driver is too lazy or incompetent to deliver a package, they could've just let me know and I'd be happy to drive there and pick it up myself. I subsequently requested to have my package held at a local FedEx office, but there was delay after delay. When talking to people at this FedEx location (direct line: 203-288-8556), the agent matter-of-factly said that "unfortunately, that's just way it is". Worst of all, this is not the first time this happened to me with delivery dispatched from this location. I have no issue receiving FedEx delivery originating from other facilities. They must hire the laziest or dumbest drivers. My last 3 packages have been left right near the road and I am on a Main Street. One was a rug left in a puddle. I remember the good old days, like last year when the people there were good. I quit my Chewy subscription after they left the box in front of my garage, further from my house. Are they idiots? Sunday delivery driver @ 2PM Wallingford CT Driver threw the box which was marked fragile onto our sidewalk at front door , and scooted back to his truck. showing real poor attitude in public view- damaged goods shipped by fedex , no reason we can see -- walk to front door was 20 feet from truck and item less than 30 lbs but was a fragile pottery pc for halloween. $100.00 item in box What did we do to get this poor service , and throw it onto concrete - (was heard like a large rock hit the sidewalk) by myself less than 10 feet away inside closed window home on my computer. I received a crated box from New Mexico containing a valuable piece of art. The directions to leave the art inside the side door was included as part of my address. There is a sign on that door noting that all packages need to be placed inside that door. The driver drove down the driveway and the package was left outside, 10 ft away from the delivery door on a pile of wood chips. This has happened before and whenever I call to complain I'm told that there is a new driver on the route. Very disappointed. read more

This review is for any fedex location. I bought from a store in oxford CT I live in South Carolina. My main depot is in Florence Carolina. I just found by way of tracking that my package shipped from CT was in Dallas Texas. What the hell is the reason to send it out west instead of directly south to my location. FedEx is known for many missing packages, and I had several. The Charlston SC location had workers arrested for stealing packages and the cover up is the package got lost in shipping. B/S it got sent to a location where it did not belong and then they go missing. If you do business or purchase online, ask the seller who do they ship by. If its FedEx just get it from a place who sends it via UPS or USPS. Much more security and directing shipping to you. When you complain to FedEx, they just play dumb or maybe not play it. FedEx is bad for your business and trust. Avoid this rotten service if you what to get your packages on time or if at all. read more

The second time ive witnessed them deliver to a home no one lives in, and they were clearly unsure if they should leave it there or not each time. They really don't care lol. So now I have to do their job, get the package and find the rightful owner.... If it happens again, I'm expecting a paycheck from fedex and I'm not even joking. read more

Worse service ever. They told me I could pick up my wife's package, then when I was on my way there they tell me I can't. The driver didn't deliver the package because "the address didn't exist"... but he did deliver the door note the day before! Apple called them to release the package to another office, they said they would... and then another person said they didn't. On top of that, extremely rude people. I stopped in at the north haven store, the one on State St. I fumbled and bumbled my way in there like a fish out of water and still I was greeted with a smile and courtesy even though I know I looked like a project. The woman who helped me was named Tawana and Tawana if you're reading this you made my day. I literally had no clue what I was doing. Bought a few plastic cups for friends and family before learning they have a very high market value online and when I came in with absolutely no packing material or clue she was there to help. Dishonest and unethical. Today I just got 2 "attempted delivery" notices for 2 different packages from 2 different drivers who didn't attempt to deliver the packages at all. I was here all day. This is not the first time that this has happened - but 2 in one day is a new record. The door buzzer rings my cell phone so no chance of a missed "attempt". After spending hours on the phone with the "Customer Advocacy Team" the first driver came back and managed to ring the doorbell this time and give me my package. The second guy just didn't bother and the Customer Advocate Team member who I spoke to was no longer there... the guy I did speak to was simply incompetent. When I asked to speak to somebody in charge he told me "nobody is in charge"... Maybe that's the problem. read more

A package was overnighted from India to New Haven and the Fed Ex driver did NOT EVEN ATTEMPT THE DELIVERY. So unhappy this is not right

The drivers drive like lunatics. They fly up and down streets ( I've seen them flying up and down my street and it's a very small street with kids ). These people are thieves . And they're all in on it together at this office. Some people are very rude and lie for other people. Telling me that I'm full of it and hanging up on me. I was supposed to receive a package a month ago and they're claiming it was delivered and even lied about who signed it. Luckily the house has cameras and I will be sending it to all the local news. Convenient service and hours. I use them for all of my shipping needs. Staff are knowledgeable. The problem is they are slower here than at most Fedex facilities. I will continue to use them because they are close to my office and take packages until 7pm M-F. . read more

Horrible customer service, rude and dishonest. I tried to ship a perfume and card to my mother, told the lady what it was and she asked me to fill out a form, waited in line again. Then the man told me WE DON'T SHIP HAZARDOUS MATERIALS! Okay.....Asks me to open the package and check to see if there is alcohol in it (obviously, It's perfume). Being that I know some FedEx locations can't ship perfume, but most will ship it ground.....I asked if there is another one I can ship it from. He completely ignores me. I asked again, sir can you please help me, can I ship this any other way? He responds I AM HELPING YOU and acted like a complete a****le, in front of 10 other customers. I went to UPS next door and shipped it ground for less. Safe to say I will never go back there. They need to train people on basic shipping knowledge and customer service. read more

second day waiting for an important package. I just watched the truck drive past my house (again) without even slowing down. It amazes me that they don't have any kind of checking built into the delivery process. I will do everything I can in the future to use UPS instead. Someone at this branch told fedex customer service they would deliver my package again since i missed the driver by two mins. This was a gift for my father for father's day. It never showed up. Guess they lie. Messed up. Now it won't come until Tuesday. read more

They did the same to me too!!! I was told I could pick up package next morning then on my way down that morning I get a VM saying I can't and that i was misinformed!!!!!. Honestly THE WORST SERVICE EVER. After this whole debacle of me waiting for package to arrive on my doorsteps it never did because some rep did not change back the service in the system to "deliver" not "pick up" since I couldn't pick it up anyway. I specifically called that morning of delivery asking why the tracking online still says "pick up" and he said he'll "change" it to deliver. I got home and NOTHING. I called again to hear some dushbag saying there was a mis-communication on my part!! As if I was at fault for calling and inquiring on where my package was. I'm never ever using you guys again because you all need to change you f****** attitude on customer service delivery. read more

I created a Yelp account today on behalf of Fedex's terrible service. If I could give no stars I would. My package that could not be dropped off unless it was signed, was on delivery today. But, thanks to the terrible drivers they didn't even have the courtesy to knock or ring the bell when they arrived. Instead they slapped a sticker on my door saying we missed you. I was home all day waiting for this package. You guys are absolutely the worst. read more
