They have draft beers, high noons, well cocktails, nothing particularly special in terms of drink or food, just bar food. Service is relatively quick and you order up at the bar, no table service. I must confess, this is not my favorite spot in town. The one time I've been here later at night, security was eerily tight for suburban Homewood. Like they searched my purse and had security inside. Eerie, indeed. Bathrooms can get kinda gross, wet floors. This space has so much potential for hosting larger events! It's huge when you open it up to the back, which they rarely do. Would love to see it reinvented.

It was also great to see how accommodating the establishment are to dog lovers by having treats available. The entry process was very organized with the ID checks and hand stamping, and the service was incredibly quick; while we were waiting in line, another register immediately opened to take our order. The cashier was very knowledgeable and answered our questions with confidence. We were thoroughly pleased with our drinks and the excellent service. We plan to return soon and look forward to our next visit.

I didn't care for the sauce nor the stringy onions so I would order it plain next time or try something else on the menu. The shoestring fries were well seasoned with something like garlic parmesan. They were my delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful as we placed our orders. This is a cool spot to hang with your friends, drink, eat and watch some sports or watch the trains go by. I was surprised their beer was as good as it was because their signature is a basic blonde ale. Cahaba has beers that are anything but basic. I got a flight with an African Saison, a Southern Feistbeer, River Haze (hazy IPA) and a blood orange blonde. Everything was delicious. The space is large with lots of picnic tables inside a climate-controlled warehouse, a bunch of video games, pinball machines and skeeball. They distill their own spirits as well and had a cocktail menu featuring those spirits. The full-time food truck outside had a solid looking menu. Sadly, I had eaten before I came because their smashburger and wings looked amazing at the table next to me.

The nearly always have 1-3 food trucks parked right on the lawn, and they offer Miracle Pizza now! I ordered from a QR code inside, and Miracle brought the pizza over from right next door. It was delicious, too! They make a great pizza. It was fairly empty when we got here at 11:30, but by 3:30 it was buzzing with SEC fans of all teams. Even though I say I no longer drink, there's one exception to that rule. Applebee's Top Shelf Margarita was and still is my favorite cocktail. Once I was told the kitchen was running behind because of lack of experience line cooks, that was enough for me to have a drink as I waited and people watch. The music was thumping like no other Applebee's I've visited in any state! To my pleasure it was a great jazz channel. They accidentally put someone else's salad in my bag even though it had extra blue cheese dressing that I couldn't use because I really dislike it. My order was perfect to enjoy with my feet up as I watched Top Chef. The people watching didn't disappoint nor did the music bother me. All in it was a great experience one can't get at any other Club Applebees because all other stores are just restaurants instead of a local joint like that one. If I was younger, was really a drinker and not concerned about getting a DUI, I might be a regular plopped on a bar stool being watched instead of the watcher.
