whenever I first started going here, it was a beautiful salon. But I did not make an appointment. I would always get the newest less experienced. The first two times she did good but the last thing she did to me was the last time I've ever walked in there. It was like she didn't want me to be her customer.. She brushed my hair so roughly and there is no way. That she did not purposely do that.. I know you may think I overreacted, but there is no way possible that wasn't done on purpose. I have a high pain tolerance, and I am not tender headed. The only explanation I have is I did not add up to her standards.... I wasn't difficult.. I rarely talked. I was always kind, the only thing I ever asked was to be a little more blonde. But I always tipped well. And paid for the services I still left my $30 tip even after paying 90 for a full for highlighting my hair.. Kristen was a really good for highlighting totally recommend. But that one experience drove me out the door.. it just took one time, I will not be the talk of the salon. And instead, I just went to Judy Lunati/shepard in Cordova next Wingstop. She's my child, grandmother. She was the manager goulds for 30 years but left and opened her own salon. This probably happened in about a year and a half ago.. and I'm just now leaving a comment. read more

I gave this salon a second chance I went to get a short sleek cut & style and the girl just trimmed my length. What the F......! I was clear about what I wanted and when I ask the girl when she was going to cut my hair she stated she already did. I offer to pay because that is who I am. But they would not take my money. I will never go back. The worst salon I have ever been to. I wish I could give them a negative rating. read more

I have always been treated kindly and no wait ever. My stylist is great and she does my hair well everytime

I went to my hair appointment today I was early I had an appointment with a stylist and a guy walked in the same time as me he went and sat in my stylist chair. 10 mins after sitting and waiting I heard him ask her is your 10 am here and she told him I'm not worried about it. I was the 10am and I made this appointment 3 weeks out. I got up and walked to the counter and stood for about 5 mins before someone approached me and I told them I would like to cancel my appointment. My time is valuable, I schedule appointments around work and kids scheduled my appointment was either double booked or she told him she would fit him in that is not fair to those of us that make appointments, show up early. read more

I walked in last week and there was noone at the counter. Also nobody spoke to me at all recognizing that I even existed. So I sat down and waited 15 minutes. Then a customer walked in that a girl in the back knew and she brought her on back to the chair and didn't say a word to anyone. There was no sign in list or sheet. No organization or management at all. I wish it were different because I support local businesses as I own one. I'll never go here again. After waiting a total of around 20 mins I walked out. I walked in nobody greeted me. I signed in, then sat down for 25 minutes then. Finally, a woman said someone would be with me shortly. After about 30 more minutes of being ignored, I finally walked out. I am originally from Mississippi but work in Delaware now and fly back about twice a month. I went to a hair salon in Jersey that was way more packed then Uppercutz and still had excellent customer service. No excuse. read more

Do not go there they do not know how to cut hair the girl who cut my hair chopped my hair off when I told her no layers she put layers in my hair she didn't even try to style it then I had to pay for it i shouldn't have to pay for someone messing up my hair and then pay someone else to fix it to say the least I was very upset because I was letting my hair grow out and my hair look like it was chopped up had no style or shape save your money go somewhere that can cut hair read more

I love this place! I would recommend it to anyone who wants expert hairstylists with a friendly atmosphere. All the girls are so lovely & amazing. If you wanna relax & get your style perked up this is definetly the place to be. They also have art, clothing & jewelry that's very stylish. read more

Took my 2.5 yr old son for his first haircut with Danielle. They were both amazing. I thought that he was going to be a hellion while cutting his hair. Danielle was our stylist and was so patient and gave us exactly what we asked for in our first haircut. read more
