We got take out pizza at this location while we were staying at Rockaway Beach. We got the chicken bacon ranch . This pizza was so good . It had a creamy ranch sauce with chicken, bacon & onion. The crust was really good. . The service was fast . We were disappointed that they were only open until 7 pm . They are also closed Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday . We were staying nearby and wanted to order pizza. They're only open until 7 so I tried calling at 6:15 to order but the line was just busy. I found a different number on their website and got a recording that said they had reached their capacity of orders for the night. I walked over and they were willing to take my order but it'd be a hour wait and to come back at 7:35, which was nice cause I thought they closed at 7. The quality of the pizza, however, was meh. The crust was like cardboard and toppings were minimal. Not worth $27. read more

We really enjoyed our Pizza from Upper Crust the other day. We are staying just down the road in a hotel in Rockaway Beach, and decided on Pizza for dinner one night. We found the service to be great. There is a cute couple who apparently run the business. They were friendly and it didn't take long to prepare our pizza. The pizza itself was really good. I love a saucy pizza, and this one satisfied that requirement. The sauce tasted fresh and was full of flavor. I usually like thin crust pizza, but I'd describe Upper Crust's pizza crust to be kind of medium thick. It was cooked perfectly! I don't like thicker crusted pizza if the crust is doughy, and this one was not. It wasn't quite crisp, but it was cooked very well. Since we do a lot of traveling up and down the Pacific coast, especially to small and remote locations, we are used to small businesses being "cash only", so no bother there. Also, we had planned on getting take-out to eat in our hotel room, so the fact that they are only take-out only was not a problem either. DW and I enjoyed a quick game of Ms. PacMan while waiting, which was fun. Neither of use were any good at PacMan games back in the day, but it was a fun blast from the past. Ordered take out from here while staying at a friends near by. Love to see that they have vegan options for both cheese and meat. We ordered a Build-Your-Own with regular cheese, vegan pepperoni and sausage, olives, pineapple, and onion and it was fantastic. Crust is a little hard and dry but it makes for a pretty good vehicle for the other toppings-- I just wouldn't go out of my way to eat the crusts here. Definitely don't hang around inside with your kids feeding their arcade stuff while you wait for your order because it won't work and if you do and ask for your dollar back (out of $15 spent just on the claw) they will give you a hard time. great, friendly staff. But this is basically papa john's style pizza where someone added oregano into the sauce not realizing the cap wasn't screwed on! WAY too much. I could not tell if it was the pepperoni, or the pizza itself, but it was too salty, as well. Not something I say very often, and anyone I cook for would be terrified of something I said was too salty. Its alright, but maybe see if they can make it without oregano (it did look like it was just sprinkled on (heavily) over the sause before the cheese went on, so maybe they can. I woudl go up to three stars if they could do that. Vegans rejoice! My partner and I are both vegan and were delighted to find that this place carries vegan cheese AND vegan meat alternatives! We ordered the 4 Pepper pizza and added the vegan pepperoni and it was delicious! I chatted with the server for awhile and found out that they currently carry diaya cheese and the impossible meat alternatives, however she's currently trying to add even more vegan meat and cheese alternatives! This is our go to pizza place whenever we're visiting Rockaway (about 6-8 times a year). It's so good that we always order extra so we can have leftovers for lunch. We also really appreciate that they have a gluten free option that our daughter loves. We plan ahead and order early, the woman on the phone is always nice as well as the young man running the counter when we pick up. Every topping combo we've tried is delicious and it's less greasy than other pizza places. Love them! read more

Looks like just another roadside pizza joint but man, one of the best pizza on the Oregon Coast! Fresh, very robust marinara made daily, daily made crusts and great ingredients. We got the Carnivore, which can be greasy at other places, but here it was just juicy. The hearth bread deserves it's own paragraph. It's the reason they get 5 stars instead of 4. Honestly? For the two of us, we would have gotten a large hearth bread and a small pizza if we had known...folded crust stuffed with pesto and topped with cheese and garlic sauce. YUMMM. We called in an order to go, and after asking for a Hawaiian with vegan cheese and vegan Canadian bacon, we also said no pepperoni if it comes with it (the menu does not specify what comes on it, and some Hawaiian pizzas also come with pepperoni!). The woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude, and said that she wasn't just "adding random things to pizzas". She didn't seem to understand that we were simply clarifying what we did/didn't want on the pizza. The interaction was so disturbing we almost called back to cancel the order, but we decided to see it through in hopes it was an isolated incident. We picked up the order to find no pineapple on the Hawaiian pizza after getting back home. Apparently we should have clarified that we'd like pineapple on it, but after the way the woman on the phone accosted us about what goes on a Hawaiian pizza, we didn't think it was necessary. This place is about the most unwelcoming restaurant I've ever seen. See my 3 pics. Kids are to remain seated at all times (despite there being video games), they accept cash only (and their ATM will nail you $2.75 by the way, of which they get a portion). The owners obviously didn't do the math or research that when credit cards are accepted the customer spends far more than the 2-4% fee. Oh well, plenty of other restaurants in the area that serve great food and actually act like they want my business. read more
